We had an issue with our car making an odd noise whilst on holiday, despite them being very busy they still managed to fit us in to take a look. Of course the car naturally decided not to make the noise when they looked at it but they still did plenty of checks, put our minds at ease and didn't charge us for the time. Very friendly, very professional.

I’d recommend Moss Mechanics, because they’re a very reliable and a well established garage . Over time they’ve built themselves a great reputation though their hard work, which speaks volumes. We’ve been using the garage for over 10 years and found Tony a very easy person to approach. He’s very helpful in guiding you with any mechanical problems. I have always received very good service from Tony and his staff. Always greeted with a smile and nothing is to much bother for them. Tony will go above and beyond to make sure everything is done to an extremely high standard and nothing is to small or to big for him. You always get good advice with honesty. My car broke down on side of the road in crossways due to clutch and my car wouldn’t move! Phoned up in morning asked if they could come get it and fix it and was picked up in an hour or so and fixed the next day in the morning! Wasn’t expensive and the men in there are all so lovely and understanding - even checked over my car ready for its MOT would definitely recommend-thank you so much!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would of done , we came away on holiday and was staying up the road , and our alternator on our vw transporter gave up the ghost and was really noisy, as we live 250 miles away I didn’t fancy driving it back or having the AA transporter us back, after phoning Mark He said they had a full days work in but if we dropped the van up to them early and leave it with they would get it done . He even phoned me back after a few minutes with a quote , after dropping the van off at 8am we then had a call at 12:15 to say the van was done , unbelievable service if I lived closer I would definitely use this garage , you saved our holiday . Brilliant service !! I've used them for over 6 years and only have positive things to say. Latest problem was an intermittent gearbox fault and Ryan admitted he had very little experience with my specific gearbox, but he made the effort to speak to others he knew who did know, and came up with a solution. Many times Ryan has had 'a quick look' at no charge to help me out with different problem. Best workshop around !!

Always an efficient, reliable service from CARs. I spoke with Alan on the Tuesday about regassing the Hydragas on my MGF, and he got me in early the following morning for the work to be done. So grateful to these guys, over a 150 miles from home and travelling home early Monday morning, Alan told me to come in around 3:30pm on Friday afternoon by 4:45pm they had diagnosed the problem, sourced the parts and rectified the issue so me and my family could enjoy last couple of days of our holiday and get home safely. Whilst on holiday I needed a brake light replacing. Although very busy they told me to bring the car in and they would sort it out. Fully expecting a large bill but was only charged £2, yes you read it right... for parts, fitting and excellent service. Cannot recommend this garage enough.

Recently bought an Evoque and from previous experience of car sales I didn’t 100% trust that the engine oil and filter had been replaced prior to purchase. Contacted Shrubbery garage and Kevin was very helpful, a few days later the car was in with oil & filter changed at a very reasonable price. 100% recommend.

I called in the morning for a quote and received a call back almost immediately. 2 hrs later my Discovery was collected , loaded and delivered to my designated garage by 13:00 , 60 odd miles away. Would just like to thank Charlie for sorting out my sales car. She had it collected by one of her drivers after it broke down on the A37. Her lad Scott came out, he diagnosed the issue, we stopped at a parts place to collect an alternator in Dorchester and then went back to their workshop about 5-10 mins from Dorchester. Charlie and Annie were lovely, had a cuppa and within an hour I was back on the road. Can’t say I’ve ever had such good service.

These people are absolute super stars! My car broke down and I was completely distraught trying to figure out what to do. They went on the very day, late evening to pick it up and diagnosed next day. Unfortunately not reparable but they offered to scrap it and to bring my personal belongings to me. Whilst traveling through Dorset in our motorhome, it became apparent I had some serious problems with the brakes, Billy's Mobile Mechanic came up in the Google search, I'm so glad it did ! He responded to my initial txt message immediately, and arranged to come to the site we were on , his communication, depth of knowledge and professionalism was second to none , he sourced the components and fitted them new disks ,pads and a split CV gaitor .

Have used Billy's services many times and he's always been reliable, giving the best prices in town. The mobile mechanic service is even better as he comes to your door with all the tools!
