I have had 2 MOT's at the Denmark Road site and a Service and everytime has been so professional. This time I had an MOT and everything was smooth running from the start. From booking online to the work that needed doing, to a member of staff walking to get my car so I could stay in the warm! I would recommend anyone to take their car or van to this garage, definitely a company you can trust.

Had my mot done here, and although my car had a few issues I was kept informed at every step in regards to parts, prices, time frame etc. Everyone was really lovely, welcoming and did their best to get my car through the mot as quickly but safely as possible. And were also really accommodating with dropping off and picking up of car times etc. Can't fault them really and will be going back for the next m.o.t or any issues in the future. Would recommend! I have not visited this garage but scheduled a pick up and drop off when my car was due for servicing. The pick up guy arrived early, was courteous and polite. My car was dropped off by end of day and I was walked through all the works done to my vehicle. I was very pleased with the service and will utilise their garage in the future. Update: Visited the garage on a Saturday for my MOT. Heads up; the garage is located within one of the units on 193 Garth Road. Drive onto the lot of 193 Garth Road up to the end of the path and turn left. You should see Total Motor Care UK on your left.

Tyre had a puncture while on the road. Called around and other people were quoting ridiculous rip off prices. Went to Total Motor Car and they fixed the puncture at a negligible cost. Shan was super helpful and they are all genuine nice guys who want to help. Very reliable and trustworthy. Will continue to go here for all car jobs. Doing MOT with them soon.

Despite having to spend several thousand to fix up my BMW I was really impressed with StarTech. Their customer service (especially from Colin on this occasion) is second to none, they really care about their customers (much more than I can say BMW does) and ensure they are kept well informed of the progress with their car and of any new developments as they happen. StarTech don't just swap parts out until a problem is fixed. They have knowledgeable, professional mechanics who perform thorough investigations when you spend a lot of money to determine what the problem is, what the cause is, and check anything else that makes sense to check along the way, they do not take shortcuts or miss things. I was also invited in several times to have a face to face meeting to discuss what's been found, what are the options and also check over evidence, pictures, the actual parts removed and speak to the mechanic directly myself. This makes a huge difference when deciding what to do next. Overall I'm extremely impressed with the service, attention to detail, skill of the workforce and the open communication with me. As a BMW owner living in Poole and being very dissatisfied with main dealer service, I looked around for a alternative. A search on Google revealed STAR TECH in Holyrood Close POOLE. I called in to see them and met Colin Nye. I enquired about a service on my i3 that was due in a months time. He outlined what was required after checking the BMW service site which they have access to through your car key. He told me they can do warranty work and only use genuine parts. They also update the online service book. He gave me a reasonable estimate and I booked the car in. The work was carried out today and on collection the car was cleaned and there was no hidden extras the price quoted was the price charged. There is a very large car park, very clean office and waiting room and very friendly professional staff. No more main dealers for me THANKYOU Keith Shortland

Just had my Alphard serviced here. Did a great job at a reasonable price. They are very familiar with the requirements of the Alphard , which is an imported vehicle. Not many garages have the technical knowledge for these. Very friendly and trustworthy staff. Definitely recommend them.

I had a major MOT failure at my local MOT testing station (Ferndown). My Mitsubishi L200 was too big for their ramp to enable repairs. I was referred to Hamworthy MOT Centre. The staff were very polite and accommodating. First class repairs and 'kept in the loop' at every juncture. I am extremely grateful that my truck is back on the road. Thank you

Bought a car from these guys, very short warranty but so far it seems a great buy, the sales guy (owner?) was helpful and repaired a part under the month or 1000 mile warranty. I think in retrospect I'd buy from a dealer that does 6 months or more warranty in future, just for peace of mind, but all the staff I dealt with are friendly and shouldn't detract from their no doubt great service thru MOTs etc.
