I had a big problem with my car last week so went to DCM to see if they would be able to look at it for me. They were able to fit me in the following day, so I delivered the car the next morning and was then taken home. I received a telephone call later on after they had found the fault. I was informed of what they needed to do and given a quote. The staff are all very helpful and kept me updated with the progress. I think that the job took a little longer than they anticipated but I eventually had the car delivered back to me, extremely pleased with the fact that the job came under their original quote too. Later in the afternoon a member of staff came to my house and gave me a thank you card and a bottle of wine. I was quite taken aback by the gesture. What a fantastic all round service by wonderful staff.

I needed two tyres and rang to check they had them in stock. I was treated courteously and efficiently by the member of staff on the phone, who also told me how much they would be fitted. I went to Shaftesbury where all members of staff were welcoming and my car went straight into the workshop to have the new tyres fitted. Meanwhile there was a comfortable seating area to wait in and I was asked if I wanted a hot drink. The team at DCM Shaftesbury are busy, but always polite, and explain things fully and clearly. I would always recommend this great company to others for their great services and prices. Thanks again guys!

Called in yesterday whilst passing. Wheel previously repaired elsewhere(pot hole) was causing a vibration. Immediately served by great reception staff, no need to book in(big plus). Receptionist quickly checked the wheel over, advised they could check balance, alignment and 'straightness' and advised prices for each step. Short wait, technician took the car out, reported his findings back to me, discussed and advised next step, again with costs. Print out of alignment provided and explained. Half hour later all work was completed. Alignment and wheel balance undertaken, repair was still ok. Updated alignment report showing changes provided and update from technician. Entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Professional, efficient, quick, detailed and cost effective. No dirty hand prints on the the controls or seat either! This is the first review I've ever given for anything as I've simply come to expect poor service everywhere these days as normal. Not here, now my go-to garage for everything. Brilliant.

I have always received excellent service from Cooks Garage, but recently they excelled themselves. My vehicle was with them for it's annual MOT test and service, when a third party's van swiped it and then drove off. The damage was pointed out to me when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, and within two weeks they had arranged for the damage to be repaired at no cost to me, including driving it to and from the body shop for the respray. The not insubstantial cost was entirely borne by Cooks Garage even though they were unable to recoup anything from the third party. I cannot praise them highly enough, and it is so refreshing to find a business which shows such honesty and integrity. Thank you!

Just purchased a 4 year old Galaxy. Spotted on auto trader initially. Late night message sent a message to Hine Motors which was responded to by Sam, a passionate young salesman. Who sent me a personalised and thorough video of the car. As a result I booked a viewing with Sam who even stayed late to accommodate a test drive. Sam continued to meet all of our requests whilst not being pushy. We put our deposit down and Sam conversed with me over the next week with progress on specific things I had asked for. Neil is amazing. The first time I went to him, I had an MOT which needed to be done quickly. He turned around quickly and professionally, when other garages were not accommodating for short notice. The second time, my clutch failed. He ordered the parts necessary, but upon further investigation discovered that only one part was required. He had the honesty and decency to let me know, and the job was much cheaper than anticipated. Not many garages would have done this. Neal is friendly, professional, and if I could give him seven stars, instead of five, I would do so.

Neil is Awesome, Honest, Kind and most of all an incredible mechanic; I have been going to Neil for over 20 years now despite being a qualified mechanic myself (changed to another career now). If you want your car maintained to last, he's the guy to see! If you want faults diagnosed without delay he's, the guy with the experience to find and fix faults quickly. I have always recommended Neil to friends and family and everyone has always been happy with him. :-)

I had a very positive experience at Hills garage today. My battery died so I asked them to help, they came the same day, restarted the car and once at the workshop replaced with a new one. Very professional, fast but quality service, good communication and friendly. I recently had my alternator changed on My Volvo V50 along with another minor adjustment needed on the injectors. My car was ready in less than 3 hours from drop off, car runs beautifully., The mechanic also listened to me well against the issues I was having and come to a great result., All fixed. Will be using them again as great value for money and again professional service.

I had never used Knights Autos but following a breakdown they were recommended by the AA patrol that came out as the garage I normally use were very booked up. My car was towed there and was fixed by the end of the day. They were very helpful and accomodating to what was a very short notice repair. They were helpful, friendly and reasonably priced. I moved to Shaftesbury nearly five years ago and asked someone to recommend a good, small, local independent garage and was then told about Hilltop Motors. I have used them to look after my car and my sons' car ever since and wouldn't consider going elsewhere. First class work at very fair prices is carried out every time to my complete satisfaction.
