Come for a roast with the family and can't fault it. Since it's changed hands the pub itself has been given a new lease of life. Food was fresh and tasted like a home cooked dinner! The portion was huge. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent all round.
I visited The Swan in Edenbridge on a Tuesday evening with a friend. We were looking for a relaxed pub meal and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We both opted for the 2 pie and mash option, with me choosing the vegetarian pie. The pies were clearly from the renowned M. Manze pie shop, which was a great start! They were delicious, with a good amount of filling and a perfectly crisp pastry. The mashed potato was creamy and smooth, and we appreciated the option of M. Manze's chilli vinegar or plain vinegar for a traditional touch. The portion sizes were generous – two pies and a pile of mash were definitely filling! The service at the bar was excellent, with friendly staff who were happy to bring our drinks and food to our table. It was nice to be able to relax at our table for both drinks and our meal. Overall, we had a really enjoyable evening at The Swan. The food was tasty, the service was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We'll definitely be back!
