Never judge a book by its cover and the same applies to this pub.. Food was superb ,friendly staff and the girl with the tattoos behind the bar was fit ..lol
Enjoyed a lovely, generous roast dinner. The service was excellent,the price was good value, we will definitely be back.
Nice ploughman's for lunch after walking in the woods. Good range of beers. (Bit of a terrible photo but by the time I'd noticed, I'd already eaten it all..) Seemed popular with locals which is a good sign. Parking available
Absolutely amazing food, great menu with lots of options to suit all tastes and sensible prices, plus very friendly bar staff, you will not be disappointed Next visit and had probably tge BEST roast dinner in the county, maybe the whole country! Roast potatoes, new potatoes roast parsnips. Cabbage. Carrots, peas, cauliflower, thick rich gravy and a choice of single or mixed meats, so so good, and too much u need to do the American thing and ask for a box to take the extra food home for the next day.
It was great to find such a lovely pub which was busy on a Tuesday night, filled with locals. You were made welcome from the start. I will definitely go back when I am in that part of Kent.
