My husband and I were sleep deprived, we were so hungry and our two young children were kicking off
the owners couldn’t have been kinder and our New York sandwich was delicious. The croissant they made our children had a heart made out of cucumbers on the side which nearly made me cry which goes to show how burned out we were but how grateful we were too. It really is the small things that go a long way and I highly recommend Bojangles. The coffee was really nice with a decent foam. Even after my toddler having a meltdown, I don’t feel too embarrassed to go back which speaks volumes.

I had a super Breakfast Bagel. It was filled with bacon, egg and cheese, not the sliced plastic stuff either, and a pot of tea. My friend had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough. We both made Mmmm noises as we appreciated the gorgeous breakfast. Very welcoming staff, but I understand it's best to book as it's become so popular. I'd give it 10/10 Well done Bojangles đŸ‘đŸ»

The menus on this Google listing were way out of date so we found the prices much higher. Now updated! Charging extra for beans with a full English breakfast is cheeky.

Well, what to say? We left home at 5am for our 4th trip to the UK. After a bit of a ride we had our breakfast at this wonderful place. This small pitoresque breakfast facility is the hidden GEM near folkstone. This is a place to remember and saved into our "good food list".

To be honest, I read the reviews first before deciding to have my mid-morning breakfast during my one-night stay in Birchington. This little place is a gem! The lady who served me was ever so welcoming - I felt completely at ease! She seems to know all her customers by name and I was delighted to be part of such a warm atmosphere. My breakfast was perfect - I should have had second helpings! I highly recommend Zara's!

This is a real treat of a café. Zara and her partner are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great and the food is yum, real homemade treats. We have been going for years with my aunt, but hadn't been in ages, however Zara remembered me and as usual had a lovely warm welcome. It's one of my favourite places in Birchington.

A quirky characterful themed cafe with the tone set by the owner and staff. Well worth a visit. It is a small place so a bit crowded and food took a while but lots to look at while you wait and it was worth waiting for. Generous portions well cooked.

Amazing cafe, staff are absolutely wonderful and cheery! Elz the man that owns the cafe is a proper laugh!! The food is lovely, I’ve been in a few times now and the two waitresses are very kind, lovely and helpful. It’s a clean local cafe. Lisa the cook is very friendly and lovely. Atmosphere is amazing, everyone talks to eachother and there’s 80’s music! Service was astounding like usual. And it’s a dog friendly cafe so bring all your pups!! Fields Café

P: 01843 846600

Rating: 4.8 (48) Price Level:

Calm cafe atmosphere, festive for the holiday (Easter) great selection of cakes, friendly staff, free WiFi, decent coffee with a nice selection of syrups. I love this local cafe (I'm assuming it's a family run business), I'd definitely visit again. Only thing I can think of for constructive criticism, is that there was a few grains of ground coffee at the bottom of my latte, but that's me looking for things to improve on as I know it can happen. 10/10 visit 👏
