Reviews
Delicious food and lovely service. We had the fillet and ribeye steak, with the bone marrow gravy. The gravy was amazing.
The puddings were also great. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious, the clotted cream especially as it wasn’t too sweet.
The service was friendly and personable. Would definitely recommend. Expensive but absolutely worth it.
I recently had the Sunday roast at Hawksmoor Manchester, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I had. The beef was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The Yorkshire puddings were towering and crisp, with just the right amount of softness in the middle. Accompanied by rich, savory gravy and roasted vegetables that had the perfect balance of crispiness and tenderness, every bite was a joy. But what truly elevated the meal was the cheese cauliflower. Creamy, decadent, and packed with deep, cheesy flavor, it was the perfect side to complement the roast.
The service was impeccable and the ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it an ideal place for a leisurely Sunday meal. Highly recommended!
My partner and I attended for super whilst visiting the city. We both had Rib Eyes cooked to different temperatures. Both steaks were saved at the same time and with a perfect cook. The char flavor was outstanding. I just wish the steak had a little more crust on the outside. Sides were great but bread and butter was an extra charge. Cocktails were great but served in below average glasses with too much ice so they weren’t a good value. In the end we will return but willing order any cocktails.
This place is almost perfect. Staff great, polite and efficient. A lovely relaxed but busy atmosphere and the food was fabulous. Only slight moan was the exorbitant cost of larger steaks but it's easy to navigate round that if you wish. Overall outstanding - Well done.
We thought we’d treat ourselves to a meal out, seeing as it’s Christmas, and we couldn’t have picked a better steakhouse.
We started with just sourdough and butter - this set the standard very high, and the following meal did not disappoint. The softest bread, with a nice chew to the crust, and the butter was easily spreadable. We agreed that we could have quite happily had the whole loaf!
Our steaks were cooked PERFECTLY (a judgement that doesn’t come lightly). We ordered one medium and one medium-well - both were juicy, tender and well seasoned. The options for sides were varied and tasty, and well worth their money. We ordered two non-alcoholic drinks (I can’t remember the name but they were mango, grapefruit and soda) - these were gorgeous. Light and refreshing, and not overly sweet.
For dessert, we shared the sticky toffee pudding. This was simply unctuous, and I almost wished we’d got one each - my belt was glad I kept a level head. The most minute point on this, however, it might have been nice to have the option of clotted cream or ice cream, as this was served with clotted cream, and sometimes it’s nice to have an ice cream to cut through. Having said this there was an option for a sticky toffee sundae, so maybe the choice was poor on our part?
From the moment we walked through the door, staff were kind and attentive (but not overbearing - they obviously kept an eye on things but at no point did we feel watched). They worked in harmony with one another and all appeared on the same page, making service efficient but not rushed. Special note for the fact they remembered who ordered what without having to ask us when we were served.
Our server, Keegan, deserves a mention. He was so lovely and even gave us some tips on what to see at the Christmas markets!
10/10 experience. Highly recommended. Go, treat yourselves, enjoy!
