Always use Hairs and Graces, the staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable and its a good cut. I am terrible for forgetting appointments or moving them at the last minute and they never worry about it. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new hairdresser.

Been coming here for nearly a year, and my hair has never felt better . My colour is always bright and hair in great condition. Everyone says my hair looks great and holds the colour well and lasts. You always manage to fit me in at short notice and always make me feel so welcome. Great team, you have Adrian, Alicia, and Coral do amazing job on my hair.

I never do beauty treatments, I even surprised myself jumping into having a powder brow semi permanent treatment, but I was sick of drawing on my eyebrows every morning onto my ever receding 44 Yr old brows to just look less death- like each day! 🤣🤣 From the very start, Paige made me feel in such good hands and made sure I was comfortable and informed at each point. From looking at her work and having friends that had had the treatment I knew why I had chosen Paige, but there's always that point you feel unsure and nervous but I AM SO SO DELIGHTED WITH MY RESULTS! the treatment itself is mostly prep work in terms of time. Numbing, sketching, checking, sketching and consulting with me for as long as it takes to be happy, all in a comfortable clean and organised salon. I am glad I followed paiges advice when she showed me her outlines and They looked quite thick to me.(inwardly worrying 🤣) Paige blends into these lines and the tapering reduces the thickness considerably.... My advice is to trust her! Same as the colour matching. It seemed dark on the test swipe but she blends and ombres so nicely they turned out perfect for me. Thanks for giving me my wake up in the morning confidence back! 100% recommend this treatment by Paige 😍 Pic is day 2 after treatment so has some shine from the aftercare solution

I've been visiting Foxie every three weeks since the beginning of summer, and I'm yet to leave an appointment any less than 100% satisfied. Not only is Megan (nail tech) incredibly talented (and so lovely too!), but the salon is always immaculately presented and their compliance with covid guidelines hasn't gone unnoticed either! I have been going here for years and everything is always done to the highest standard (even when I make awkward requests for my nails). I go to Foxie regularly for my eyebrows waxed (always get compliments) but I also have had them done semi-permanent here, lash lifts and gel nails and I recently had a facial that left my skin super smooth. Photo attached shows how amazing my brows look without make up.

Needed my hair doing before Christmas (after being ill) and this salon was luckily still taking bookings. My hairstylist was a lovely young lady (Ellie Mae) , who did a wonderful job with cutting my very thin hair to give it shape, after a very nice relaxing wash and massage. So pleased with the price as well, which was cheaper than where I usually go to in Buxton!

For a bit of context - I hadn’t had my long and somewhat scruffy hair cut in about 2 years and was a little nervous. Stacey was absolutely lovely, very professional and my hair now looks amazing. She recommended products and gave me tips about how to maintain the style. Will definitely be booking in again when it needs revamping! Thanks Stacey

I picked this hairdressers because it was the first in the Google list. I haven't had my hair cut professionally for over 2 years. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Sages were explained and questions asked about my preferences. The whole experience was excellent. I am thrilled with the results and will definitely return.

My 11 year old daughter and I went for a manicure and pedicure today. We found the salon to be very welcoming in a really spacious and relaxing environment. The overall atmosphere is extremely pleasant. The treatments were spot on and extremely competitively priced compared to other local salons. We will definitely be back girls and would wholeheartedly recommend this salon; you won't be disappointed.

Tansy did my wedding makeup and my bridesmaids makeup. Tansy stayed with us all morning from 7:30 until 11 she put us all at ease the whole time she was there making us laugh and feel relaxed. Tansy waited patiently while we had our hair done so that she could top up our makeup perfectly after we’d put on our dresses. She even helped with other little jobs while she was there like looking for the Flourist’s car. Our makeup looked fantastic and stayed perfectly all day even after dancing! Would definitely recommend for bridal makeup.

This salon came recommended to me by a friend. The girls here are fantastic, Sophie did my nails and she was fabulous - I felt so relaxed and comfortable. Tansy was great, did my make up for my (very) last minute COVID wedding and Ellen did my hair – they both were really accommodating and really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I got so many compliments! Would recommend them to anyone.

Had one of the best hair colours I’ve ever had at this salon thanks to Eve. She really really listened to what I wanted, and the excecution of it was outstanding. My colour came out identical to what I had showed her I wanted in a photo. It was so complimentary on my skin tone. I really Couldn’t be more pleased with it. Hold onto her Tansy - you’ve got a great colourist there!

And have done for many years. We give thorough professional advice, and carry out a service that is best to what we feel we can provide. We do things to suit hair that we feel will be the best and realistic options to do, and we explain this in every consultation. With well over 50 years of experience between us, and years of continuous and on going training, we carry out a service that is honest and realistic with what hair types we are working with, and we charge accordingly for time and experience. (Please bare in mind, some of these are being done from home prior to coming to our salon, which both takes time to rectify and keep the hair in good condition whilst doing so) We have a fabulous team and exceptional clientele, and we Thankyou for all your constant support 🤍 Unfortunately in the very rare circumstance, we cant please everyone, especially the ones who don’t sit in on the consultations. We recently moved to Buxton and I was so worried to find a hairdresser to cut an colour my curly hair. When I booked an appointment at Lounge Forty 1 with Lianne I was so happy, she did such an amazing cut and colour. Fully taking in what I was saying about my concerns on my hair always going ginger with colour. It honestly is and has been the best colour and cut I've ever had, she is brilliant. She's so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Finding a hair dresser you trust and that always goes that extra mile isn't easy to find. So I would 100% recommend coming here. Everyone else in the salon is super friendly and welcoming, it's not stuffy or intimidating going.
