100% the best kept secret in Wakefield. Absolutely the most friendly people, I have pretty much had the entire menu now and I would recommend everything. So keep it quiet I don't want to have to queue too long!!!!!
Ordered for work lunch. It’s been rather hit or miss depending on what you order and when. This time round, it was on the better side! Had the 5 chicken tenders with some Cajun fries; very well seasoned this time and filling; albeit a bit on the pricey side (has gone up £1 across the board since the last we ordered!) Colleague’s hotdog unfortunately shrivelled up a bit and had none of the ketchup and mustard it was ordered with. I would probably recommend eating the food as soon as possible - the travel time doesn’t help the food. In the past, the chicken has been flavourless. There’s been improvements and I would recommend trying this place out, but a word of caution when ordering during peak times.
First time here of many I’m predicting. We got the dirty fries with steak and cheese, a chilli burger and a grilled chicken wrap. Absolute outstanding - my husband said it’s the best burger he’s ever had hands down. The portions are really generous, well worth every penny. The staff ( mum and sons) were super friendly and really helpful, they came to check everything was ok with our meal, which was lovely. Can’t recommend this little gem highly enough.
Lunch boxes are amazing! We are addicted, lovely staff and such a fab place. Thanks for giving us good food at such an amazing price! Xx
