Brilliant day out. Made better by lovely hosts and good food
Stayed overnight in our camper van in the carpark which was free as we had an evening meal. Recommend pre booking.
Our meal was delicious, the staff and atmosphere very friendly. Had a peaceful night in this small village famously attached to the soap Emmerdale. Close proximity to both the River Aire and Leeds Liverpool Canal the later being good for an easy walk or pleasant cycle ride.
Lovely place for a visit. I just called here for a drink after walking in the area, but they also do food. Will return to try the food when next in the area.
Booked a table with an overnight stop in our campervan. Had a lovely evening and night in our van at the Woolpack Inn. The food was very good and the cider went down very well, the staff & owner were lovely. We will definitely go back. Dogs allowed in the pub. slight slope to the carpark, but we found a fairly level area as it was a quiet Monday night.
