Absoloutly fantastic charity and vets!!! Went all out and saved my dogs life..they have had her well being and comfort as their main priority from the start and have kept me informed the entire way through and double checking any information before going ahead. I can't thank them enough. The staff were so kind and caring and compassionate towards myself also as I was in distress. They had my whole world in their hands and saved her. ❤️ We thank you as a family and we thankyou on behalf of pumpkin aswell.

Absolutely amazing, so caring and felt so safe leaving my dog with them. They sorted my dog out and gave her an operation and now she is able to live without being in pain. Thanks so much

PDSA Oldbury Birmingham I seriously can't thank the PDSA enough for seeing My Girl today,They give her a scan to check her heart, womb, kidneys & bladder, took a urine sample & dealt with the main problem which was a urine infection.. Before Christmas I had to take her the vets cause they weren't taking on anyone at the time & that was nearly £300,£62.50 just to be seen..They prescribed her Antibiotics & worming & flea treatment..I paid £71.40 for 3 tablets then the antibiotics were £95.58..And because they knew I only had a set amount they wrote down the name of a mouse shampoo & a mousse to get rid of any bugs in the house..It was £35 for a urine test.. Basically the treatment I got today I think roughly would have been a £1000 or more, the scan alone is expensive.. We arrived in plenty of time, the vet Dr kutz/cuts/kuts we saw today was lovely & thorough..She was patient with my dog, asked if they should muzzle her,I didn't really want her muzzled but I had to think of the other animals there..At first Mia didn't want to go & she was pawing away at her muzzle, but I give the vet a treat to take with her & Mia soon followed lol..The vet was patient with Mia & she's quite a big strong dog.. Anyway the vet was brilliant & explained things to me & what she would prescribe her..we waited for the meds & that didn't take long,And when we went up to collect the meds the lady was cherry & explained how to use the meds & asked if we had any questions..Then we had to go to the counter & make another appointment for a check up in two weeks & the lady was really nice..And the fact they made another appointment to check up was brilliant, shows they care..They did mention they couldn't test for cancer there.. But all in all I was so happy with the service & it didn't cost nearly £300 all they asked for, well they didn't ask,was a donation..If I had gone on my pay day I would have been happy to donate more than the £24 they suggest.. Especially after going the vets,we lived on beans on toast for the next few weeks 🤣🤣🤣🤣.. Remember they are a charity.. I would love to know how much other people donate.. I had to have my last dog put to sleep there & they were very kind, the chap I saw was a bit quiet, but I was an emotional mess..They let me have time with my baby, put her to sleep with me by her side..They can only do so much especially at the moment they are very short staffed..I always wonder what other people's attitudes are like when leaving a bad review, not saying anything bad but there are alot of people that think they are very entitled these days..I am not knocking anyone, but you have to see both sides.. I hope you have the positive experience I did & I hope your pets are well & happy, please take care....And a massive thankyou to the staff at the PDSA at Oldbury, thankyou so much 🥰🥰
