We have been using Mel, Karen and all the other wonderful vets and nurses at Halian for about 14 years now with both our cat Lucky and latterly dog, Poppy. They are all super friendly, caring and knowledgable, always having the best interests of pets first. We can’t recommend them highly enough. P&C.

I could not recommend Dr Karen at Halian Vets enough. She’s thorough, informative and patient and clearly loves her animals. She’s a real credit to Halian!

Halian Vets are a fantastic practice. The whole team are so kind and caring. I had an emergency with my cat and everyone truly went above and beyond! Pablo was able to be seen straight away and he is now back home with us and recovering after a successful procedure today. Thank you to everyone for taking such wonderful care of him. We are so grateful!

To everyone who ever needs the most supportive, understanding and loving vets ever ! My boy Joe has passed today at the age of 17 he has had an amazing life with out the amazing staff and vets at Halian I believe this would not have been made possible to be the best family member anyone could want !!!! I have very recently adopted a rescue dog and took him to Creature Comforts for his first vet appointment. They were very kind and understanding as my dog is very anxious and scared of everything. They gave me very good advice and were very reassuring. One of their Nurses is an animal behaviourist which is great as my dog needs lots of training and help. I would highly recommend them!

Our first visit yesterday to Creature Comfort St Albans and wow such a beautiful place, everything has been thought out and Rex especially loved the treat wall, we saw Rebecca and she was fantastic, we told her Rex wasn’t good at the vets and she was just brilliant with him! Today we took Flossie and Lilah our Weimeraner’s for their first consultation with Charlotte at Creature Comforts. The attention to detail within the practice and from all the staff was fantastic from start to finish. The time with Charlotte the Vet was relaxed, not rushed, I felt she listened to all my concerns and was thorough in her examination of the dogs. Flossie had to stay for a procedure and the whole team were so supportive in ensuring she was well looked after and kept me informed during the afternoon. I would highly recommend Creature comforts. Flossie still hasn’t given up her free ball and loved the treats!!

Although this will be the most aesthetically pleasing vets you’ve ever been to, that isn’t even the best part. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and the appointment was thorough. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and came out with many options to resolve my dog’s condition, which was a relief. Our previous vets didn’t recommend such pathways or offer the treatment we were given. Lots of treats and lots of time shared. My dog even cried for the vet when they stepped out of the consultation room 🥲 Very happy.

We had to have our little Loki put to sleep and everyone was lovely. In the lead up to this the vets did everything they could to help him

Having overcharged me , I was pleased that the manager got in touch and rectified the problem. I thought this was very good conduct.

I'm an inexperienced dog owner. The vets and all staff have been very understanding of that. They've given great advice, been accommodating of appointments at short notice and just generally really helpful. They send reminders of appointments, are able to rearrange when circumstances change and the fees are reasonable. I'm very pleased I have my dog registered here. I feel she's well looked after. My only comment would be parking can be difficult!

The staff were very sensative and caring when i took my little dog to be cremated..when i collected him , i was overwhelmed by the kind gestures that was given along with his ashes , a hand written card and some seeds to plant in his memory . The staff were very understanding and caring when i came in to collect my boy...thankyou Highfield staff .

We were told of a possible 4 hour wait but when we arrived after 9.30 at night with our very poorly Bichon, a vet came out within 10 minutes of arrival. From Gate Security to Reception and registering, nothing was too much trouble and our pooch was handled with great care. She examined him thoroughly and although the end did not have a happy outcome (he was over 14 years), he was treated with respect and the vet was just as sad as we were when we said our final goodbyes. We cannot say enough and thank the Royal Veterinary team.

Expensive like all veterinary places but not exorbitant like them either. The highest levels of expertise and equipment can be found here. Wherever you go now you’ll need deep pockets or high levels of insurance from a good company.

Been to 4 vet's so far. This hospital blew the others out of the water. The level of care and professionalism stood out massively. Hatfield is the first place I felt confident to book my frenchie in for nose surgery. Andrea operated on my dog. She was fantastic. I have only had bad experiences with other vet's in the past, Medivet being the absolute worst, so avoid!! I am thrilled with service and level of aftercare.11/10

We have been going here for more years than I can remember for our dogs to donate blood. This is so important, it could save a dogs life. The nurses that take the donation are very caring and always remeber the dogs names when we visit. If you have dogs who can donate, it a good day out. My wife that is disabled always enjoys it. Please contact them, if you feel that this is something your dog and you could do.

Came here after vet referred us for undiagnosed issue - staff was efficient and considerate, explained everything in detail. Got 2-3 update calls daily while my cat was admitted. Thank you so much for taking good care of her!

The treatment my daughter's cat received was excellent. Even when the treatment had to be extended due to the non arrival of the radioactive drug required they did not charge for the extra stay or demand we returned (over 100nmiles to collect her cat). All dealings with RVC have been good and the staff seem great. Reception is generally clean, nice to see cats and dogs separated and special units to place your cat and it's carrier in.

Staff are all fantastic, reception & accounts very friendly. Nursing staff are amazing, all very caring and just lovely lovely people. Can't rate them highly enough. Our dog has been well cared for and is still receiving excellent treatment with Hydrotherapy.

I cannot describe how exceptional this place is. This is how a vet should be. No stress, friendly and supportive. Everyone cares and wants to establish a positive experience for the animals in their care. All that and it's also insanely cost effective for our needs. Huge thank you to the team who made my pup's first visit a really positive one. I know, who is this weirdo writing about a vets but it's honestly so different from any vet you've ever seen. Go, try it out. You will not be disappointed.

We have had our membership for just a few weeks and already Creature Comforts have made such a difference to our dog’s life. She doesn’t usually let anyone touch her, let alone a vet, but Barry’s calm demeanour and skilful treatment were such a help this morning. Florence (our dog) loves the team - thank you Kate for the warm welcome. Creature Comforts whole set up is so dog and owner friendly. What a great addition to High Barnet!

What a wonderful experience. The team at Creature Comforts Barnet are so welcoming and attentive and Barry was wonderful with my cat (who is normally very scared and uncomfortable but behaved herself impeccably)- extremely helpful, caring and diligent. The practice is a bright and calming environment and everybody (team members and clients) seem to feel cared for and happy. Helping yourself to a couple of treats for your pet is a lovely touch- as is coffee for their owners. I highly recommend Creature Comforts

Cheerful staff. Vet was very patient as my dog becomes very anxious. They advised just social visits with cuddles and treats until he was comfortable with the vet for treatment. Very caring surgery and they gave me treats for him for later. Lovely experience in this surgery very different from any others I've visited in a positive way.

Have been with them for about a year now but today my French bulldog had her tooth out and they were so thorough and have provided me with so much information! Thank you for making Binky feel safe and for reassuring myself!

Lovely & compassionate staff. We had to use them recently for our bulldog who’s experiencing some eye problems. The service we received here was amazing and you can tell how much they care for your animal. Fantastic vets and nurses. Our beloved Labrador received excellent care when she suffered a spinal injury recently. She is doing very well thanks to their prompt care and referral to a specialist vet. They are all friendly and provide top quality care. 100% recommend.

Could not recommend this veterinary surgery highly enough. They’ve always been kind and caring looking after my much loved cat over the years. When he was sick they really pulled out all the stops to give him the best treatment and care. Today sadly at 17 years old, he had to be put to sleep and again the team at Animalism were fantastic not just with my pet but with his blubbering mum! Took our 1 year old cat Newt here for his vaccines. The vet who did them was so lovely and friendly and really good with him (he is a nervous one!). Easy to book over the phone. This is my first experience of the vets as a new pet owner but was really easy and they were so good with him (and me)! Lovely staff and was seen for both our appointments promptly.

Clare is amazing , and great with our cat Harley. The practice are great with our cat.

My little rescue Connie ( cat ) had most of her tail amputated on Monday after becoming trapped in a window 😢 I was so stressed and tearful on arrival, the receptionist was absolutely wonderful and kind, the vet had her straight into theatre and did wonders with her . Despite loathing the cone she is recovering well, this is the second visit after a bite on the paw last year where upon I received sterling treatment. Marvellous surgery 10 stars 🙏🙏

I am writing this review on behalf of my sister who lost her dog Scrappy a few weeks ago. I cannot express how grateful I am you guys added extra months to his life and you really really cared for my sister Jess and her dog I am forever grateful for that. My sisters vet was David an absolute star honest, caring and really put our dog first. The whole team are amazing and really do go above and beyond - Chloe if I could give you 10 stars I would thank you for being there for my sister and Scrappy I know he was very fond of you right up until his last day so thank you so much for looking after him keep up the good work it does not go unnoticed we were referred to you by a passer by on the street and it was a blessing and I will do the same and spread the word of this lovely vet thanks again for all your help Scrappy and family are forever grateful❤️

I travelled 74 miles to visit this place yesterday on a recommendation Absolutely worth every mile From start to finish, the staff was polite and courteous David, Unlike most vets Came across more concerned for the animal rather than for his pocket I have been given a quotation to repair my little dog Pepe who had broken his elbow in his front leg After David did his x-rays he gave me a call and explained to me that it could possibly do my pups some more damage because of the type of fracture it was if they tried to repair it Most vets, Who we must agree on white collar Robbers, Would have just gone ahead for the sake of the extra money, but David didnt Do this which shows to me he is more for the concern of the animal than what he is for his pocket After I collected young Pepe, he explained to me step-by-step what I should be doing to get Pepe on the road to Recovery Not only did he explain it to me he sent it to me in an idiot proof email, Taking the time to make sure that the customer is happy and had full knowledge of what to do and expect Next The receptionists were also very polite, courteous and the surgery itself was very spotless and modern I could not Recommend these people enough Thank you, team you are above and beyond

I would give them 100 stars if I could. I can’t begin to explain the support and help they have given us with our new puppy. He has needed the vet a few times and everyone has been amazing. Not only have they seen him in the vets but I’ve had calls and messages checking up on him. Everyone there really does go above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough! 🤩🤩🤩

Took my 14 year old cocker spaniel, Toby, for his annual check-up and our first visit to this new surgery for us. A great experience. Considerate, friendly receptionist, and a patient, skilful, reassuring vet. Even Toby seemed to enjoy the experience. Thank you Oakwood from both of us!
