Excellent veterinary practice Attended on 22nd January with our Greyhound Roxy for annual health check General appearance of the waiting room was cheerful with nice display boards Receptionist was friendly and welcoming and our vet was lovely too

Absolutely amazing care of my new 'older' lady who hasnt had the best of life previously. My little one had the full attention and was put at ease by lovely Katy and the team ❤️ Well done Wicket 👏 and look at the transformation since coming into the care of a good team. She is now thriving.

Arrived on time and seen straight away. Eddie the vet was friendly and gave the dogs a good check over before their vaccinations.

I do think that, as with all veterinary practices, medications are overcharged. Other than that I found the service at Pride faultless. Flora is an absolutely wonderful asset to the team. She was so lovely and caring towards both myself and Walter, and was clearly so very invested in helping him and giving him the best possible chance of a happy life. She talked through everything with me in great detail, patiently answering all my questions, both during our consultation and following. I found the practice clean and inviting, despite it being a worrying time and Walter was returned to me on both occasions with a wagging tail and enthusiastic disposition. He was clearly happy and not at all stressed which is testament to how well looked after he had been. We received a detailed account of the findings of Walters tests by email very quickly after our appointment as well as the plan for him moving forward. Walter is already responding well to the changes in his treatment. The fact that the accounts team make the payment so easy by claiming directly from the insurance company takes all the stress out of the situation and allows us to focus on getting Walter the help he needs without a great deal of financial worry. I do feel that our recent experience with Pride has been wonderful overall and would not hesitate to return when needed in the future. My cat was referred in emergency, the staff were understanding and caring. She was taken in quickly and had bloods and blood transfusion, as well as xray, ultrasound and bone marrow taken for testing. Very thorough and quick. I'm not a vet but I'd say they saved her life, as I really didn't expect her to come home with severe anaemia, little to no red cells, low white cells and platelets. But because they reacted quickly and tended to her straight away, after a week of everything being done to her, bless her, she's finally home. Yes I sobbed on picking her up, any animal lover would. She will have regular appointments but she's here and that's all that matters. Thank you to all of you for your support and care for Talulla-Eden.

My Louis couldn’t have been in better hands. Right from the consultation to his operation to remove a cancerous growth and the personal phone call from his surgeon Mark Longley to keep me informed. I couldn’t have wished for a more caring, professional service. Definitely 10/10

Unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to send our old terrier over the rainbow bridge. The staff were incredibly kind and compassionate and gave us as much time as we needed both before and after she went. I know money shouldn't come into it but unfortunately it does, and the bill we received was so much more reasonable than what you would expect from some of the larger chain vets. We live over 40 mins away but will always be taking our dogs there as the service is worth the distance!

We were staying at the nearby campsite when my dog, Zeus, needed urgent care over the bank holiday weekend. I was petrified because of the type of care that was needed and also worried about the bill over the bank holiday, but Douglas and everyone at the practice were just incredible and you can tell they love animals. I rave to everyone about how amazing the staff were and I only wish they were closer to us at home because I’d love to have them as our everyday vets. Zeus needed to go back over the 3 days we were away and I was so reassured throughout the whole process. Douglas even called on the Saturday night to make sure he was doing ok. Just so appreciative of how well Zeus was looked after and I can’t recommend enough x

Fantastic service, I can't recommend Bakewell vets enough. Sorry I can't remember the vets name that came out to my poorly goat but the service, treatment and understanding was the best ever. Thank you so much. My goat is not out of the woods yet but he's comfortable and appears to be doing well.

Believe it or not this big baby is probably the most fear reactive/fear aggressive dog I've ever come across. But I can't actually praise vet nurse Chloe enough for going above and beyond to help us make sure she is on top of her health checks and vaccines etc. Her compassion and knowledge and how she advocated for Storm and for us is just second to none and I'm forever grateful, overdale - never ever let her leave!!! Thank you so much!!

Spire vets treated our Buzz when he started fitting and having seizures, unfortunately he passed away but the staff were fantastic, kind, considerate and very professional. And thank you for the card of condolence much appreciated. ❤️

Amazing vets . Handled our babies with utmost care and respect . We recently had to say goodbye to a beautiful pretty princess Alice and we can't thank them enough for the time , care, advice and treatment for Alice . Would highly recommend all the staff here . Dexter and Alice forever loved and missed .

Spire vets are always amazing, even more so this evening when my bull dog swallowed a pebble. There was no messing around they saw him as an emergency 20 minutes after I called. They definitely saved my baby from having to have surgery and I can't thank them enough!!!! They not only looked after my dog They looked after me too. Thank you so so much 💗

I can only highly recommend their service, they are an excellent & genuinely caring team, from reception staff to the vets. The fees are reasonable too. I feel that my pets are in safe, caring & capable hands. We've moved from another vets & this practice seems much better & is well worth the longer journey.

Excellent service, both with having out my dog to sleep and now getting a new puppy. The staff are friendly and help with and queries.

I rushed my cat, Benji, to the vets at Meteor Centre after seeing him pant and struggle to breathe. I can’t express enough how supportive and gentle the team was with him—they made sure he was seen immediately. Dawn, the vet, was absolutely amazing—so genuine in her care for Benji. I made it clear that while Benji means the world to me, I needed to be mindful of the cost and I asked that we only perform the tests and checks that were truly necessary to help him, Dawn and the reception were more than understanding and respectful of this. She took the time to thoroughly explain the x-ray results, what they strongly suspected was wrong and the options we had in depth. They even consulted a specialist at no extra cost and did everything possible to help Benji. After treatment, they monitored him closely to ensure Dawn was satisfied with his recovery before sending him home. Although we received a terminal diagnosis, Benji is now much more comfortable, and his medications will help keep him that way until he’s ready to cross the kitty rainbow. My heart is broken, but I can’t thank Dawn and the reception team enough for their care and compassion towards myself and Benji, as well as helping make my little boy comfortable until he is ready to leave us.

Have always taken my animals there, the staff are lovely, the vet's are just great and the cat's are always happy to see them and if that's the case they are doing something right..

Visited for the first time this morning, receptionist Alison was very helpful and understanding. Also the day before,she provided all the information about Animal Health Certificates for travelling abroad. I would like to thank her especially, for booking us in a day after, as we were quite desperate for a rabies vaccine, but also the vet that got my dog vaccinated and explained any concerns Thank you very much

A big thank you to Freddie and staff at ambivet ripley. My cat had extensive dental surgery on Friday, the care and aftercare are second to none. Everything explained to me before op and about after care. I understood fully what they told me and would recommend them. Their prices are very reasonable.
