We’ve been at this vets for around 5 years, have moved out of Sheffield and still come back to use the vets. I’ve experienced a few vets and this is the best one I’ve been to with my pets. The staff are so attentive and friendly and welcoming to all pets, we recently had to put our dog to sleep and they were so lovely and non pressuring regarding payments of services etc, I want to thank all of the staff your all amazing, carry on doing what you do and don’t look anywhere else if your in need of a vets.

Unfortunately we've been here a lot with our 2 cats so seen various vets and nurses. Everyone has been really friendly, knowledgeable and patient (with us and the cats!). For one of our cats with a chronic issue we even got free advice over email rather than stress him out bringing him for an appointment. It's great that they are open later and often have emergency on the day appointments too so it's quite easy to get an appointment that works around life. Reception can get really busy and there can be a wait to be seen at reception or phone call answered at busy times but that's to be expected.

The vets, nurses and staff are all fabulous- all of them show genuine care and I cannot recommend Peak Vets enough. I feel my cat is in extremely safe hands there.

Really good service. Staff is really nice and the vet was approachable, answering every question and reassuring. Saved me on a Saturday when it is difficult to find a clinic opened, and thanks to a last minute appointment. Great experience.

The best vets I have ever used. So helpful and considerate. I took my Border Terrier to have his ear checked and was pleased with outcome. Also the young lady on reception kindly made me a coffee while I waited for my lift. Excellent service, would recommend.

I was on holiday when I needed to see a Vet for my dog. I found the contact details in the information pack for the cottage I was renting. The receptionist was so helpful, especially when I couldn't find the location despite using my satnav. The Vet gave Theo a thorough examination and prescribed a medicine. It enabled us to enjoy the remainder of our holiday. 5* service, and very happy to recommend.

Our 13 year old whippet had a one way ticket for over the rainbow. The staff were supportive, explained what was to happen and even after she had gone they manoeuvred her with great respect. We were allowed to take our younger whippet in so he could sense she had passed. For us and him it seems to have helped.

Great little vets in Chapel. They can perform routine surgery here, as well as all assesments. Complex surgery goes to the parent branch in Glossop. Hedi on reception very helpful. High Peak resident parking in car park diagonally opposite (badge required). Complimentary WiFi and dog biscuits!

Amazing vet practice! We easily signed our puppy up here November 2021 to which they booked us in for our remaining puppy jabs. Day came for the jabs and our puppy was excited to go in at see the vet on the reception and had treats at the ready! Nice welcome and prity much straight in with another very nice vet which explained to us everything we needed to know and even let us ask some worried first time puppy owner questions ☺️. The monthly payments for this vet are good as even if your just using their worming and flee treatment it basically pays for it's self. They were especially great when we had to take our now dog to them in a quick rush after an accident they came out to the car checked her over, tried keeping us calm and sent us to where we needed to go. All in all not had a bad experience with them the staff is always very nice, explain things in detail, let you ask questions no matter how daft or trivial and have your pets best interest at heart! Amazing Chapel en Le Frith surgery . Receptionists , nurses and vets have always been there for both our dogs and ourselves. We have personally always had confidence in them , they've never overcharged us and the welfare of our greyhounds always came first along with kindness and care .

Recently got a puppy. I registered her here. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Vet we saw was also lovely. Very happy with them.

Tameside Veterinary Clinic are extremely helpful and friendly. I have been taking my dog to them for Seven years now. They are very welcoming towards you're pets with an offer of a treat and a fuss. Diarmuid and Georgina the Veterinary Surgeon's I have seen in the Stalybridge Clinic are really nice and put your pet at ease. I would Definitely Recommend Them.

Everything about this place is first class, the desk staff are really friendly, the vets are lovely and highly knowledgeable, would highly recommend :)

I took Beyoncé (13 weeks puppy) for monthly deworming. reception staff were lovely and welcoming. Nicola attended Beyoncé and she was ACE with our baby. Beyoncé felt at ease to play around greeting everyone. Thank you Stalybridge branch for welcoming us and serving us with a smile!

Really grateful & impressed by the knowledge, support, kindness & compassion shown by this practice & all the staff including John Thompson, Dan Harding & Harriet Peck. I can only highly recommend their service, they are an excellent & genuinely caring team, from reception staff to the vets. The fees are reasonable too. I feel that my pets are in safe, caring & capable hands. We've moved from another vets & this practice seems much better & is well worth the longer journey.

Excellent service, both with having out my dog to sleep and now getting a new puppy. The staff are friendly and help with and queries.

Today my wife phoned at 2.00pm about our old Lhasa Apso, who they have looked after for the last 10 years .Now aged 16.5yrs and loved every day of his life, it was time to leave us, as we knew the time had come. The vets/ assistants were superb, fitted us in and we left emotionally charged, but in the knowledge we had done the right thing for our beautiful dog and companion. A huge thumbs up to them. I have 3 cats, all with very different personalities and needs. One of them is a terrified little thing, needing a very slow and gentle approach. The vet here (whose name I didn't catch, but the lovely gentlemen who works on Saturdays) respected his requirement for a slow approach, was so gentle and kind, and we had a lovely trip (although I'm sure Kaiki begs to differ). I am eternally grateful for the staff here! Vet trips are dreaded in my house because none of my cats enjoy leaving the house and they actively work to make the experience as horrible as possible, but the staff are so welcoming and kind that it mostly negates the attitude from the carrier!

I cannot thank Tim enough he saved my boys’ life today. So thorough, helpful and such a nice man who really went the extra mile to get to the bottom of the issue. Emergency surgery to remove part of a Halloween costume that had got lodged in his stomach and kept me updated on his progress as he was decision making. Both him and Charlotte looked after my Hughey after hours whilst he was in recovery and they really are an amazing couple of humans! Everyone at this vets is always amazing but today really showed the quality of care! Thank you

Everyone was very kind to me when I had to have my lovely cat euthanised, unexpectedly, when he had an embolism. They even found a way for me to be with him at the end, observing lockdown restrictions for them and me. They treated us both with great kindness and compassion at a terribly distressing time.

Seamus has seen our two cats and dog and we find him to be excellent. He gently and compassionately supported us through an end of life decision, and is always knowledgeable and good with the animals.

Outstanding, caring and compassionate. Saw me immediately after my little baby has a serious accident. I can’t praise highly enough, went above and beyond to care for my little girl. She is home now recovering ❤️‍🩹 emergency surgery and full aftercare. Best veterinarian care for miles around.

I feel compelled to respond to the review left by Laura below. This concerns a visit she made to the clinic with my dog, George, while she was acting as his dogsitter during our holiday. Shockingly, Laura attempted to have George euthanised without our consent, despite him not being in a condition that warranted euthanasia. We are profoundly grateful to Seamus, Martha, and the entire team for their ethical and compassionate care in this situation. Their refusal to proceed with euthanasia—rightly recognising that George was not at a stage where it was appropriate—was the most caring and professional decision they could have made. Laura’s review appears to be driven by frustration over the clinic’s principled stance in safeguarding George’s wellbeing, and it does not reflect the extraordinary dedication and kindness shown by the team. We cannot thank them enough for protecting George and ensuring he received the care he truly deserved.

So impressed with the team. Very caring and supportive throughout, took my dog in to be treated immediately when she got a piece of stick stuck in her mouth. She came home same day and the followup care was superb. And lastly a very reasonable bill. Fabulous practice 👍
