I took archie my jack chi puppy to medi vet when he was 2 and a half month old for his 1st and 2nd vaccinations flea and worm tablets everything was explained bout the vaccinations I then took him back for problems with his anul glands again all explained so I understood the medication and again took him back for castration teeth extraction claws clipped it was so easy to book appointments reception team are exeptional Archie is now 1 and half year old and thriving being his cheeky self BIG THANKYOU TO ALL THE TEAM FOR TAKING GREAT CARE OF MY ARCHIE would definitely recommend any pet owners to go to Medivet 100% POSITIVE

We go to Medivet for years now. But this time our doggy got really poorly, he was in pain and lost weight. He's 12, and I was so worried we might loose him. He had an op, everything was clearly explained to me prior and I was contacted throughout the process. It wasn't cheap, but I must express how grateful I am to everyone who saved him. He is back to himself and in good health now. Thanks to all staff for being kind, patient and understanding ❤️

Every time I’ve had to go to St Leonard’s with my dog, the team have been amazing and supportive. They give perfect advice and you can really tell that they care for the animals. The fact that there is an emergency vet service available as well really puts my mind at ease. I wouldn’t want Casper to be seen by anyone else 🧡

We chose St Leonard's Vets on Uttoxiter Road Derby (now MEDIVET ) for our new, 11yrs old rescue dog Connie ,as they looked after the health of our cat Bago (and in the Cattery) for a few years before she went to the great Cattery in the sky, at the great age of 19 and a half. They are brilliant and SOOO caring. Connie looks forward to her appointments and actually pulls us into the premises. Also, we know Connie (now a sprightly 13yr old) is treated with care and looked after really well at all her regular appointments. Thankyou Medivet

Having just transferred my 9 dogs to Etwall Vets from an uncaring big corporate group vets whom I had been with for more than 20years! What a difference… from walking into the surgery being met by a lovely greeting from the receptionist both myself and my dog to seeing Raquel and Amanda who did the most thorough examinations my dog has ever had and taking the time to give me their expert opinions without being patronising and understanding costs etc involved. Thoroughly recommend. A big thank you from me and Belle. 🐶😊

The staff here are all amazing been coming here with my dog Bella for 4 years now and they are absolutely lovely with her. She was very ill last week which was very stressful for us all, however we knew that she was in good hands, she’s is on the mend now 🐶 Thank you so much, Debbie & Bella 🐾

Our dogs go here & we are part of the Pet Plan (which is great value for money). They are lovely and caring, definitely want the best for the animals. We have seen differing nurses when we have been which has made it slightly confusing to try and communicate what is happening with the dogs sometimes, but they are good.

Having 2 senior pets means a vet practice with a lot of care is so important. Gemma, Lisa and the entire team are so caring. Receptionists are so helpful and have sorted Insurance claims every 3-4 months and prescription scripts. Recently needed a dog’s Physiotherapy referral and Sarah sorted that over to Dr Lisa the same day. They are aware the cost of everything, not just pet care, has gone up and are communicative and happy to work with you to suit your pets and budget. My pets have a team of superstars behind them ⭐️

I decided to bring my dog to this vet practice after all the amazing reviews. The vet was absolutely wonderful with my dog and I have no complaints about her. However the receptionist was unkind and unfriendly to us. I have a big dog - almost 100 lbs and my husband couldn't join us to the appointment. She asked me to weigh my dog alone - no one came to help me or asked if I needed any help. When the reception was busy and full of cats I have asked if I could wait in a quiet room as my dog could get agitated in a new environment. She have told me to wait outside even though it was a cold rainy day. During the entire time I had no assistance, no friendly manners and I didn't feel welcomed to the practice. I have joined their plan per suggestion of the vet and again the receptionist was quite reluctant to enrol my dog, saying first she will send the information via email. I have never received any emails from the practice including my invoices which makes me think if her cold manners to me it's regarding the fact that I am an immigrant and not a local resident. Which is a shame as their practice seems lovely and the vet is really good. After my first review they changed completely with me and my dog. I can't praise them enough about taking care of my Skyla.

I was recommended this vets by a friend as I wasn't happy with my old vets. The vets we've seen have been so lovely. My dog had all his teeth out and it was such a smooth process and he recovered quickly. I'm so happy with this vets, I'm even happy to drive from where I live in Oakwood!

Took my beautiful but extremely nervous Springer Spaniel for her visit to Marshall and Till today I was so impressed all the staff are an absolute delight Our veterinary consultation with Charlotte was excellent she was so kind and caring. I am so greatful to everyone at Dovecote vets for saving my cats life. When every cat owners worst nightmare came true on Sunday night our usual vet wasn’t open, so we rushed to Dovecote and I’m so grateful we did. After 2 emergency surgeries for 2 open fractures and 4 nights at Dovecote we finally got to bring our boy home yesterday. I will forever be greatful to Adrian and the rest of the team for giving Dexter a second chance at life. No matter how many times I rang a snivelling mess to check on him they were nothing but compassionate and assured me he was having so many cuddles and lots of fuss. They were completely gracious to my financial stress and eased my mind so much. Words can’t explain how happy I am he’s still here with us and it’s because of the wonderful team at Dovecote, a huge thank you from me and Dexter 💙🐾

Came here in January after being referred by our own vets about my dogs glucose level wasn't coming down. First impression lovely and clean and friendly staff. We seen justine who was amazing she went through everything with us did plenty of tests scans etc which all came back clear. We have to give her updates and she has also kept in touch with us. Barney is now doing alot better We have got his diabetes and glucose level under control. Thank you.

Had an amazing experience with Justine recently when my dog was referred for an endoscopy. As young owners, River being our baby and first pet, we really needed answers to all of our questions. Justine gave that to us, she spent an hour before and an hour after all her testing to keep us at ease and explain everything in our terms which over the course of 2 months of Rivers bad health, we haven't ever experienced. Also shout out to the two lovely ladies on reception, no question was too much of an ask when it came to insurance claims etc. Wish I lived closer so these were my dogs go to vets. Great first experience yesterday with my 3 amigos. Very thorough, professional, helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Mandy for persevering in obtaining my dogs clinical histories, which was like pulling teeth, thank you. Thank you also to Katie who was professional, thorough, helpful and informative ( It was nice to see a familiar face ). To the receptionist who assisted me in completing the Healthy Pet Club forms and booking further appointments, thank you. The hospital was clean and everyone was very welcoming. Ample parking. Couldn’t fault it. Very happy :)

I was on holiday when I needed to see a Vet for my dog. I found the contact details in the information pack for the cottage I was renting. The receptionist was so helpful, especially when I couldn't find the location despite using my satnav. The Vet gave Theo a thorough examination and prescribed a medicine. It enabled us to enjoy the remainder of our holiday. 5* service, and very happy to recommend.

The best vets I have ever used. So helpful and considerate. I took my Border Terrier to have his ear checked and was pleased with outcome. Also the young lady on reception kindly made me a coffee while I waited for my lift. Excellent service, would recommend.

Really impressed with the vets at Hartshorne. At other surgeries my cat is a terror and turns feral. A lion would be better behaved. But at Hartshorne vets they must put a spell on him. He's so calm and relaxed with the staff. I highly recommend this surgery if your cat is troublesome at the vets as they have worked wonders with mine.

Great staff caring and compassionate. Cared for our Yorkshire terrier and made her comfortable and happy for the last 3 years of her life…the knowledge and care is second to non! Geoff came to our home when it was time to let her go, it was an already awful day but made easier by the fact she wasn’t stressed and could fall asleep in in her own home surrounded by love. Excellent vets. My 15 year old dog having problems with her eyes, only option was to remove her eye, until I took her to this vets. They saved her eye with treatment , amazing care. Staff seem to love the animals, not the case at my old vets. Prices are much more reasonable too . I love the thank you cards posted everywhere, which goes to show how popular they are.

Thursday 6th February, we said our goodbyes to our special disabled frenchie Henry. Anna made our final goodbyes, so calm, peaceful. I found Anna was so gentle, kind and compassionate throughout our final time with Henry. Henry's sister , myself and my daughter are now able to grieve our loss. 🐾 Anna sent a beautiful card with such lovely words, which was such a lovely thing to do.

I wanted to say a big thank you to Anna. We like most of you reading this had to make a tough decision about our little soldier Rambo. This was the most devastating thing we have ever done and we knew of Anna as she treated Rambo a few years and she has a gift with animals and people. She was compassionate professional and so sensitive to our anguish. We were thankful that she came to our home and our little boy went to sleep in his favourite spot. It was very dignified for our boy and we knew we were doing the right thing by our son Rambo. She spoke softly to Rambo and he was not distressed and after his sad passing Anna kept in touch and checking on us which she did not have to do. She is caring and genuinely concerned about everyone’s welfare, and a true professional. She also helped us with the cremation and we trusted her choice of pet crematorium they were very good also. I know if you are reading this nothing will prepare you for the tsunami of grief that is about to hit you and your family, but Anna understands this.
