By far the best Vets we have ever dealt with. All the staff we have met have been super professional and super friendly. Our rather nervous rescue dog has been looked after amazingly during our social visits and received her booster without a flinch. Cannot fault this Vets practice and highly recommend them!

Vets4Pets Heanor is a modern bright practice staffed by professional welcoming team. I have been taking my dog Chester here for 4 years and always felt his best needs are met.

I brought my cat in for an appointment this afternoon, and was greeted by Stacy and Sammy (sorry if I spelt names wrong!), friendly as always. I saw Anne for my appointment and it’s clear she takes patient care at a priority. Everything was explained to me in terms I understand, and took incredible care of Rue. It’s great to know I’m visiting a vets that care. I’m hoping they see this as I think it’s so important to get recognition in such a hard industry when they all work so hard to take care of all the vets that walk through the door. We've always had brilliant care for our dogs here. Very pragmatic and professional.

Took our dog to the PDSA to be examined only to be told that he should put to sleep after a minimal effort so took him here for a second opinion and Alan said that he can operate and that he has at least 2 more years left in him. I would recommend Beech House Veterinary to anyone.

Been twice now and both times it's been a lovely experience. Both the vets I've seen have been happy to discuss treatment options. Reception staff are friendly and welcoming.

When you arrive, there's great parking. The reception area has lots of space and bright and airy. Meg's vet is Cat, and she is very sensitive to how she's feeling..as she is with owners. That 3 way relationship is important. She's friendly, professional, and up to date with any new research relevant to Meg's condition. What I really like is that she's down to earth, so very approachable. And..crucially, a good listener. So, the whole experience from meeting the reception staff to the consultation is a good one. An excellent practice. Keep doing what you're doing well. Alys and Meg the collie.

I can't praise Croft Vets highly enough. They were brilliant with our anxious collie during his tooth extraction and injections. So glad I went to them.

We brought our high energy dog to Croft vets for a laparoscopic spay as our regular vets don’t offer them. I can’t say enough good things about our experience here, we had lots of information for each step, the follow ups and check ins were great, the whole process was super efficient. All the staff were absolutely lovely, especially with our massive scaredy cat Labrador! It’s been just 3 days since the spay and we’ve been given the all clear to go on walks and more or less return to normality (with a couple of things to still be cautious of). We are happy with our current vet but I am contemplating moving to Croft completely as this whole experience has been so good. Thoroughly recommend!

We’ve been at this vets for around 5 years, have moved out of Sheffield and still come back to use the vets. I’ve experienced a few vets and this is the best one I’ve been to with my pets. The staff are so attentive and friendly and welcoming to all pets, we recently had to put our dog to sleep and they were so lovely and non pressuring regarding payments of services etc, I want to thank all of the staff your all amazing, carry on doing what you do and don’t look anywhere else if your in need of a vets.

Everyone was fantastic. I had to take my cat as she was suffering due to old age. They were so kind and caring to her and to me. They understood how difficult it was and gave us time. I cannot recommend them enough-they truly are wonderful.

Unfortunately we've been here a lot with our 2 cats so seen various vets and nurses. Everyone has been really friendly, knowledgeable and patient (with us and the cats!). For one of our cats with a chronic issue we even got free advice over email rather than stress him out bringing him for an appointment. It's great that they are open later and often have emergency on the day appointments too so it's quite easy to get an appointment that works around life. Reception can get really busy and there can be a wait to be seen at reception or phone call answered at busy times but that's to be expected.

Really good service. Staff is really nice and the vet was approachable, answering every question and reassuring. Saved me on a Saturday when it is difficult to find a clinic opened, and thanks to a last minute appointment. Great experience.

Having 2 senior pets means a vet practice with a lot of care is so important. Gemma, Lisa and the entire team are so caring. Receptionists are so helpful and have sorted Insurance claims every 3-4 months and prescription scripts. Recently needed a dog’s Physiotherapy referral and Sarah sorted that over to Dr Lisa the same day. They are aware the cost of everything, not just pet care, has gone up and are communicative and happy to work with you to suit your pets and budget. My pets have a team of superstars behind them ⭐️

I honestly cannot recommend Paw Prints Vets enough—they've been absolutely incredible looking after my cat, Penny. From the very first appointment, everything was handled swiftly and professionally. They carried out all necessary tests promptly, including blood tests, a steroid injection, and an anti-emetic treatment to ease Penny's discomfort. Dr Lisa Sessions went above and beyond by calling me personally at 8 pm the very same day with Penny's blood test results, showing just how dedicated they are to providing exceptional care. Unfortunately, Penny's condition deteriorated overnight, but the wonderful receptionist Wendy was incredibly understanding and managed to squeeze us in for an emergency appointment despite a busy schedule. Penny received another round of treatments immediately, and they promptly arranged an emergency ultrasound for Monday to further investigate her condition. The entire team at Paw Prints has shown genuine compassion and care every step of the way. It's so reassuring to know that Penny is in such dedicated, capable hands. Thank you so much to everyone at Paw Prints Vets for your kindness, efficiency, and genuine love for animals.

I was recommended this vets by a friend as I wasn't happy with my old vets. The vets we've seen have been so lovely. My dog had all his teeth out and it was such a smooth process and he recovered quickly. I'm so happy with this vets, I'm even happy to drive from where I live in Oakwood!

I decided to bring my dog to this vet practice after all the amazing reviews. The vet was absolutely wonderful with my dog and I have no complaints about her. However the receptionist was unkind and unfriendly to us. I have a big dog - almost 100 lbs and my husband couldn't join us to the appointment. She asked me to weigh my dog alone - no one came to help me or asked if I needed any help. When the reception was busy and full of cats I have asked if I could wait in a quiet room as my dog could get agitated in a new environment. She have told me to wait outside even though it was a cold rainy day. During the entire time I had no assistance, no friendly manners and I didn't feel welcomed to the practice. I have joined their plan per suggestion of the vet and again the receptionist was quite reluctant to enrol my dog, saying first she will send the information via email. I have never received any emails from the practice including my invoices which makes me think if her cold manners to me it's regarding the fact that I am an immigrant and not a local resident. Which is a shame as their practice seems lovely and the vet is really good. After my first review they changed completely with me and my dog. I can't praise them enough about taking care of my Skyla.

A very good place for care and a comprehensive assessment of the health status of any animal. I was here for the first time with our friend, she has been serving her cats here for more than 5 years. A COZY place, if you come with children, there is a place to play with construction sets.

The best vets I have ever used. So helpful and considerate. I took my Border Terrier to have his ear checked and was pleased with outcome. Also the young lady on reception kindly made me a coffee while I waited for my lift. Excellent service, would recommend.

I had a Zoom appointment with Dr. Ellie. I live in the U.S. and was thrilled to be able to meet with a guinea pig expert. She was thorough, efficient, caring, very knowledgeable, and invested. It was an extremely worthwhile visit! I also appreciated the extensive follow-up notes she provided and the time she took to compile them. I wouldn’t hesitate to schedule another appointment with her in the future when needed!

So unbelievably grateful for both Ellie and the rest of the team at Derwent Valley Vets! They have been incredible in treating one of our guinea's who sadly had to have his eye removed after our previous vets showed little interest in adapting his care or changing his antibiotics despite little improvement in a month. When we came to Ellie, we were scared we were going to lose him; we knew we were close to the point of no return. Ellie and the team have absolutely given our boy his life back; even with one eye he is much more himself than we have seen him be in the last 2 months and we're so thankful. Even now, 2 weeks post surgery, we are in constant communication with the team, sending regular updates and receiving brilliant advice. I cannot praise this team enough! We travel 3 hours to see them, and will gladly do so for anything so important again because the standard of care is unbeatable. Oh, and they provided double the amount of treatment for half the price we were quoted elsewhere, so pricing is absolutely incredible value for the skills these guys have. Thank goodness for Ellie! It’s amazing to have a vet who knows and loves guinea pigs so much. Coco has only just started her treatment but I’m feeling really at ease knowing she’s under Ellie’s care and expertise. The option of her video appointments for advice is also very helpful and reasonably priced.

Very kind and knowledgeable, did her best for my little piggy, but unfortunately, there was nothing more that could be done. Basically the only person in the UK who I'd trust to do conscious dental surgery on guinea pigs.

We received absolutely fantastic service, all staff understood our needs and our pet, highly recommend.

I cannot praise Highfields Vets enough. Our cats have been in for everything for annual jabs, to blood tests, to exploratory surgery, and unfortunately, in one case, through to end of life support and care. The care, kindness and attention to detail, along with easy booking methods and urgency escalation when required, have been superb. I will always be grateful knowing they are there when we need them.

This practice came highly recommended by a friend. Got an appointment very quick on the same day and spoke with a lovely lady called (Stacey) on reception. Attended the appointment and was seen by the vet (Lucy). She was absolutely lovely, friendly and caring. In fact everyone in the practice looked happy to be at work! Would definitely recommend. I highly recommend this vets. Visited for the 1st time today as my adult cat had an issue with his eye. They were so welcoming and had such great customer service. They managed to operate on him today and the stitches are so neat. 100% moving to this vets! Price was amazing considering what i had been quoted at my usual vets. Such an amazing and caring vet's practice ❤️ Always treated my pets with such gentleness, kindness and professionalism whilst having time to explain treatment or other necessary options and demonstrate the best ways to administer medication to their owner. Had the very best experience of using this practice for 30 years with a range of family pets. And at all stages of their life and passing. Today's and Wednesday's visits were no exception when I needed to take my little foster bunny, Custard, for her painful tummy problems. Henry was so gentle and kind when he examined her and prescribed everything he could to help her recover on Wednesday. And Simon checked her out again today and kindly gave her all of this evening's meds with a lot more success than I've had! Explaining the best way to do so. And some good news that she's improving a bit too. Shout out for the fantastic reception team too. Always so kind and helpful and making sure that urgent appointments are available when needed. Took our new puppy Bruce for the first time yesterday. The practice receptionist was excellent, listened to my concern about our unwell dog and managed to fit me in a visit at very short notice. The vet was equally excellent and gave our dog a thorough check up, giving an injection to stop sickness and this has worked a treat. We’ve got our boisterous puppy back. Thank you, I wouldn’t hesitate to use/recommend this practice again.

Another check-up visit yesterday, the usual warm welcome from staff in all areas. Highly professional, reliable and accommodating. Highly recommend this practice, we have been customers for many years 👍

From making the appointment, to checking in with the receptionist and seeing the vet everyone was very friendly and helpful. The vet made Myself and Tommy the kitten feel at ease. Tommy had lots of treats for his first consultation with his vaccines. I felt very informed about the procedure and next steps.

Took Mr Pogle to Hope practise for initial check up and jabs. They were great. I really trust them. Great with my very giddy rehomed dog, he hardly registered that he'd had his first jab or been weighed, the vet was just so calm and efficient. Dog had no time to worry. Gave me good advice and no unnecessary treatment. Fantastic. Signed up for their oet care protection scheme, I think it's great value. I dont drive, so getting my dog to Buxton for any real treatment will mean booking a taxi but I believe it'll be worth it. I'd reccomend this practice .

We're not local but had a problem with our Patterdale and they very kindly fit us in for an appointment. Kind knowledgeable staff. Thank you 😊
