An outstanding,empathic,kind vets practice. My bunny was cared for compassionately. The human touch, when I had to get him put to sleep, as well as beforehand, continuously, especially from the lady vet who dealt with us went above and beyond ordinary kindness. Thank you all.

The vet and receptionist today were absolutely lovely. Receptionist was very kind and addressed me and my dog as we entered, and the vet was the best kind of person for the job. Don't think my dog even minded his vaccines being given. He seemed upset to leave! 10/10

Absolutely outstanding care! Kind, respectful and compassionate. I was worried that my Bullmastiff would be aggressive but I need not have been. He liked the lady vets very much. My poor old dog had come to the end of the road and the procedure to ensure that he passed peacefully was carried out with such skill and precision that he did not even flinch. The vet sedated him first before he had the final injection. He was completely peaceful and experienced only love and care. Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced.

I can not recommend this vet service highly enough. Wonderful team who obviously love their job. The care we received for our animals has been outstanding. We recently lost our beloved pooch Gypsy, a sad time. This was made a little easier by having a vet come to our home and support us and our sweet girl, during the end of her life. Today we received a sympathy card from them with pack of forget-me-not seeds....in Gypsy's name...so touching and thoughtful. Thank you for being the kind of vet, that puts animals and people first. X

Vet care at home were there when I needed them, they were amazing, so compassionate, caring and kind. They treated my Rex with the respect he deserved, they took their time and allowed him to feel comfortable with them before they began the procedure talking me through each step! They showed me such kindness once Rex was sleeping helping me settle him in his bed and giving me a hug with kind words before leaving! A very difficult job made easier to bear! Thank you lovely ladies from vet care at home, you were amazing!

We’ve been at this vets for around 5 years, have moved out of Sheffield and still come back to use the vets. I’ve experienced a few vets and this is the best one I’ve been to with my pets. The staff are so attentive and friendly and welcoming to all pets, we recently had to put our dog to sleep and they were so lovely and non pressuring regarding payments of services etc, I want to thank all of the staff your all amazing, carry on doing what you do and don’t look anywhere else if your in need of a vets.

Unfortunately we've been here a lot with our 2 cats so seen various vets and nurses. Everyone has been really friendly, knowledgeable and patient (with us and the cats!). For one of our cats with a chronic issue we even got free advice over email rather than stress him out bringing him for an appointment. It's great that they are open later and often have emergency on the day appointments too so it's quite easy to get an appointment that works around life. Reception can get really busy and there can be a wait to be seen at reception or phone call answered at busy times but that's to be expected.

My cat was very poorly with breathing difficulty and heart failure. I was referred to Sarah who carried out thorough investigations and treatment and prescribed new medication. She explained everything and was very professional. Thankfully my cat appears to be a lot better now.

Harley our dog was referred to Sarah and her team by our own vet after finding a heart murmur. All I can say is the service here was outstanding from start to finish. Very caring and proffesional and took time to get to know Harley before they began checking her and doing the necessary scan. I could stay with Harley all the way through, so she most certainly was less stressed. I would highly recommend Sarah and her nurses, who obviously care so much about the animals they treat. Thank you for all the information regarding Harley and her condiction and thank you Sarah and your fantastic nurse for all your help.

We have recently been referred to Sarah Smith Cardiology for our 14 and a half year old dog Ronnie due to a very scary faint and heart murmur. I cannot begin to thank the team at this practice. This Awful thing was lying around for are Wonderful, happy-go-lucky, playful little Patterdale to find and get extremely embedded in her tongue, mouth and cheek! We got to Bollington vet centre to be comforted and put at ease as are little puppy was taken care of immediately. We got a call shortly after saying are little Bonnie was OK and hook free. This place is amazing!I've used Bollington Veterinary practice over a few years & they're my first choice when seeking treatment for my pets(I currently have a cat). My cat has underlying health issues & needs regular treatment, visiting the vets once every three weeks or so & he just loves the vet(& I think the feeling is mutual!!).He always receives first class treatment & the vets are so good with him(he's an old boy & can be quite grumpy at times)& they always give him a general check over when I take him in.They're also very good at advising me on his treatment/s & any issues I should look out for regarding his health & listening to any of my concerns,no matter how trivial.Pricewise,they're not cheap but,no vets are & the prices seem around average for the treatment received. On a practical level,there is off road parking with room for quite a few cars & there is wheelchair parking & access should it be required. I would also like to say that ,I have recently turned up a couple of times at the wrong time & missed my appointments.However,the vets have been more than happy to accommodate us &,given that it was my error and not theirs,I really appreciated this. The ladies at reception are always very polite, cheerful and helpful both,in person & on the telephone ,even when the practice is extremely busy ..they never seem flustered,which is nice.Its always helpful to see a friendly face when I'm worried about my beautiful cat(& best friend). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bollington Veterinary Centre to anyone who is looking for the best care for their beloved animal,you won't regret it.There aren't enough stars to give them so 5 will just have to do!

Really impressed with the vets at Hartshorne. At other surgeries my cat is a terror and turns feral. A lion would be better behaved. But at Hartshorne vets they must put a spell on him. He's so calm and relaxed with the staff. I highly recommend this surgery if your cat is troublesome at the vets as they have worked wonders with mine.

Great staff caring and compassionate. Cared for our Yorkshire terrier and made her comfortable and happy for the last 3 years of her life…the knowledge and care is second to non! Geoff came to our home when it was time to let her go, it was an already awful day but made easier by the fact she wasn’t stressed and could fall asleep in in her own home surrounded by love. Absolutely lovely staff, I found most vets are more focused on money, where as this small run vets, every member of staff love animals. You can really tell they put the animals first to ensure their looked after and treatment is given asap if needed. Sean was absolutely amazing in keeping us informed of our dog's progress and was very helpful and went above and beyond for both us as pet owners and our dog Cleo. We've put our kittens under their care now and still can't fault them. Would recommend to any and all pet owners.

Nearly three weeks ago our 13 year old German shepherd had what we thought was a stroke (we had the same experience with another old shepherd years ago and a vet came out and put him to sleep). We rang our vet, we had to call twice to get a reply. The situation went from bad to worse with the vet refusing to even give us a telephone number of anyone who could help. With hindsight, they did us a favour. We rang round in desperation (it was Sunday morning) and eventually came up with Staveley Vets. Sean answered. He was amazing. He reassured us that our dog was not going to die overnight but he was on call until 8.30 next morning and would come out any time between now and then if we felt we needed him. He said our dog had not had a stroke as we know it but a syndrome peculiar to dogs. We registered with them next morning and 3 weeks later we still have our old girl. I cannot praise this practice too highly. From Sean himself, to Goergia and all the receptionists, we have been made to feel that we are the only clients they have. Absolutely lovely people. We know our girl is on borrowed time but every day is a bonus thanks to Sean and his team. I'm sorry to rabbit on but our last vet said they were too busy to come out in surgery hours even during the week to put her to sleep, we'd have to bring her in. Sean, one of the two partners, said, if we were worried DURING THE NIGHT ON A SUNDAY, ring him and he would come out. It speaks volumes.

Absolutely overwhelmed with the staff here, from the receptionist to the vets, nothing is too much trouble, they don't rush anything and take time to explain everything properly. We have a kitten with swimmers syndrome and they have shown us how to tape her legs. Gone through things we need to do to help her. She's also developed a slight flat chest which can be fatal but again he took his time explained what we need to do to help her to overcome this. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

After a challenging experience with other vets, I chose Etwall Vets, and it was the best decision! Last week, I faced the heartbreaking decision to put my beloved cat down, and their compassion made all the difference. They provided me with all the time I needed, showing genuine care and understanding throughout the process. I received my cat's ashes today, accompanied by her paw and nose prints, as well as a heartfelt card. These mementos mean everything to me, and I am deeply grateful for them. Having just transferred my 9 dogs to Etwall Vets from an uncaring big corporate group vets whom I had been with for more than 20years! What a difference… from walking into the surgery being met by a lovely greeting from the receptionist both myself and my dog to seeing Raquel and Amanda who did the most thorough examinations my dog has ever had and taking the time to give me their expert opinions without being patronising and understanding costs etc involved. Thoroughly recommend. A big thank you from me and Belle. 🐶😊

Our dogs go here & we are part of the Pet Plan (which is great value for money). They are lovely and caring, definitely want the best for the animals. We have seen differing nurses when we have been which has made it slightly confusing to try and communicate what is happening with the dogs sometimes, but they are good.

We brought our high energy dog to Croft vets for a laparoscopic spay as our regular vets don’t offer them. I can’t say enough good things about our experience here, we had lots of information for each step, the follow ups and check ins were great, the whole process was super efficient. All the staff were absolutely lovely, especially with our massive scaredy cat Labrador! It’s been just 3 days since the spay and we’ve been given the all clear to go on walks and more or less return to normality (with a couple of things to still be cautious of). We are happy with our current vet but I am contemplating moving to Croft completely as this whole experience has been so good. Thoroughly recommend!

When you arrive, there's great parking. The reception area has lots of space and bright and airy. Meg's vet is Cat, and she is very sensitive to how she's feeling..as she is with owners. That 3 way relationship is important. She's friendly, professional, and up to date with any new research relevant to Meg's condition. What I really like is that she's down to earth, so very approachable. And..crucially, a good listener. So, the whole experience from meeting the reception staff to the consultation is a good one. An excellent practice. Keep doing what you're doing well. Alys and Meg the collie.
