This practice came highly recommended by a friend. Got an appointment very quick on the same day and spoke with a lovely lady called (Stacey) on reception. Attended the appointment and was seen by the vet (Lucy). She was absolutely lovely, friendly and caring. In fact everyone in the practice looked happy to be at work! Would definitely recommend. I highly recommend this vets. Visited for the 1st time today as my adult cat had an issue with his eye. They were so welcoming and had such great customer service. They managed to operate on him today and the stitches are so neat. 100% moving to this vets! Price was amazing considering what i had been quoted at my usual vets. I'm so happy and thank you for looking after my Emmett today

When our trusted vet of many years sadly retired, I performed extensive research and chose to register my dog with Highfields. I didn't expect to be making an appointment so soon after, but accidents happen! I have been highly satisfied with my dog's first treatment. He wore a happy doggy smile while waiting to be examined, the examination was conducted at his level on the floor, and the consultation was thorough and reasonably priced. The sedated procedure he required was well explained and performed quickly. There was a follow up check call the following day and a physical check up appointment after 5 days. I felt confident in the veterinary practice staff and the service. Overall very pleased and would recommend.

I cannot praise Highfields Vets enough. Our cats have been in for everything for annual jabs, to blood tests, to exploratory surgery, and unfortunately, in one case, through to end of life support and care. The care, kindness and attention to detail, along with easy booking methods and urgency escalation when required, have been superb. I will always be grateful knowing they are there when we need them.

It has taken a while to write review, not through a lack of wanting to, but through allowing time to process the passing of our angel girl. We cannot express our thanks enough to Rob and his team for supporting us with the process every step of the way. We have no doubt that our lovely Bella was handled with dignity and respect through her final journey, and was back home with us within 24 hours. Thank you for helping us through our ugly tears and reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet girl. Last week, we realised the time had come and we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Bruce, our beloved Chocolate Lab of almost 12 & a half years. He was a gentle giant, who brought our young family so much joy. He was loving and loyal until the very end. Rob and Pets At Rest were recommended to us by a friend. Rob is incredibly considerate, professional and accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else who has to make the same difficult decision that we did. We take so much comfort in knowing that Bruce's final moments were spent peacefully at home, being stroked and cuddled off to sleep by his loving family.

Neil myself and Josh made the difficult decision for our Mollie aged nearly 15 years old and said our goodbyes on 4th January 2025. Rob was so professional and it was so calm and peaceful. It’s taken me time to be able to write this review as we are still struggling with our loss. Mollie was our world , our baby girl and we will miss her always. but we have many happy memories which we will treasure. If you're reading this then the chances are you're considering making that heart breaking decision that all we need help and guidance with. Let me assure you, you're in safe hands with Rob. I thought I'd add to the wonderful reviews as i found them so re-assuring when making that decision for myself. I contacted Rob by e-mail initially when trying to figure out what the procedure would be and to prepare myself mentally. As soon as Rob replied i knew he was a gentle soul, and he took time and effort with his replies. I felt more comforted by Rob's presence than my own vet. My Border Terrier, Poppy, aged 15, was declining and my vet told me it was a matter of weeks. As she was struggling with her breathing i made the decision for Rob to visit us at home. Poppy and I spent our last days and nights cuddled up in bed together and i had chance to say my final goodbyes. Rob turned up on time, and guided us calmly through the whole procedure, always giving us as much time as we needed. Poppy passed away peacefully in the comfort of our own home. I was kept in the loop about when i could expect to receive her ashes back, and she was duly brought home again from Old Flatts Farm 3 days later by Dan. Rob was calm, compassionate, patient and understanding, and made the whole difficult experience as human as it could be. Thank you to Rob & Dan, it was very much appreciated how you handled everything.

Excellent vets. My 15 year old dog having problems with her eyes, only option was to remove her eye, until I took her to this vets. They saved her eye with treatment , amazing care. Staff seem to love the animals, not the case at my old vets. Prices are much more reasonable too . I love the thank you cards posted everywhere, which goes to show how popular they are.

Saying goodbye to my beloved dog was heartbreaking, but the entire team made the process as peaceful as it could possibly be. My 1st visit with Astrid (her 2nd). All the staff were really friendly,welcoming and helpful. Already booked in for our next visit. I think I was more nervous than Astrid. She was super chilled out. Thanks to everyone involved.

Our dog Teddy likes to go there very much. The ladies are always nice and the dog feels it...so calm.

The vet and receptionist today were absolutely lovely. Receptionist was very kind and addressed me and my dog as we entered, and the vet was the best kind of person for the job. Don't think my dog even minded his vaccines being given. He seemed upset to leave! 10/10

Took the cat, cat got his treatment for a reoccurring ailment. All pleasant and sorted. Many thanks to the receptionist with the crazy coloured hair and the vet from North Lancashire.

My cat was groomed and also had his claws clipped. He's as good as new!

Absolutely fantastic vets I've been going to Pat and his staff since Bailey was a puppy and today 10 years later he's been in for a ruptured crutiate ligament and again absolute above and beyond care for my Boy by all the Staff and Pat who is an amazing vet and tells you exactly how it is and always offers the correct advice. Amazing vets, always on hand for advice between their appointments with Pat.

I would highly recommend Pat and the team, who look after my eight dogs. Service levels are excellent which combined with expert knowledge, understanding, caring and realistic fees make for an amazing experience. I took one of my dogs for a consultation today and despite her condition not being common Pat diagnosed and started the treatment within the consultation. I would highly recommend Pat and his team.

Fantastic veterinary care Reception staff frequently help to carry my 4 cats from the car into the reception area. Vet Adam is amazing, fountain of knowledge and advice. Can't imagine going anywhere else. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🤩

Fantastic service, same day appointment and procedure done there and then (relocated hip under GA). All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and reasurring. The standard of care for both myself (stressed and upset owner) and our little dog was absolutely top class! The vet (Adam) showed incredible compassion and explained the procedure and after care to great extent. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service and care we received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this surgery to anyone!! Cannot fault Blenheim in any way. Amazing care for our pets. All of the vets and other staff treat your pets like their own. Everyone takes time to fuss the animals and it really makes a difference when you're there and concerned about your pet. That's not to mention the amazing medical intervention they have provided to my dogs. I have no doubts that 2 of my 3 dogs are only currently with us because of how incredible and determined these vets are. Thank you all so much.

Blenheim Vets are wonderful everyone has a friendly but professional manner and it is clear they care deeply about pets and owners. The reception staff are unflappable even in emergencies and offer great support. The nurses are so thorough and thoughtful. All the vets are excellent and understanding. Hannah was brilliant in diagnosing our cat has kidney troubles, despite no obvious symptoms ! And Adam in particular explains everything and goes to great lengths to ensure pets are well even to the extent of looking into what was in the food I was feeding my dog to make sure she was getting the right nutrients. Excellent 👍🏻

You won’t find a better vets practice that really cares for the horses and their owners. I have to especially thank Kirsty and Sam for everything they did for me and my horse, it means more than you will ever know.

Great staff caring and compassionate. Cared for our Yorkshire terrier and made her comfortable and happy for the last 3 years of her life…the knowledge and care is second to non! Geoff came to our home when it was time to let her go, it was an already awful day but made easier by the fact she wasn’t stressed and could fall asleep in in her own home surrounded by love. We are eternally grateful

We have been with them a few years and recently had cause for concern with 2 of our dogs both in the same week (unrelated problems) Daisy was poorly with a virus and looked after by Geoff. Dora by Will. Both Vets highly professional and very caring. Thank you Hartshorne Vets. 😊

Really impressed with the vets at Hartshorne. At other surgeries my cat is a terror and turns feral. A lion would be better behaved. But at Hartshorne vets they must put a spell on him. He's so calm and relaxed with the staff. I highly recommend this surgery if your cat is troublesome at the vets as they have worked wonders with mine.

I’ve always felt very comfortable using these vets as it’s obvious they truly care about my dogs. Amazing care and compassion provided by Anne and the team. Our beloved Peggy was very poorly and Anne not only did the best for Peggy, but ensured we were ok. Great empathy and sympathy throughout. The handwritten personalised sympathy card was a wonderful touching surprise, thankyou.

Vets4Pets Heanor is a modern bright practice staffed by professional welcoming team. I have been taking my dog Chester here for 4 years and always felt his best needs are met.

I brought my cat in for an appointment this afternoon, and was greeted by Stacy and Sammy (sorry if I spelt names wrong!), friendly as always. I saw Anne for my appointment and it’s clear she takes patient care at a priority. Everything was explained to me in terms I understand, and took incredible care of Rue. It’s great to know I’m visiting a vets that care. I’m hoping they see this as I think it’s so important to get recognition in such a hard industry when they all work so hard to take care of all the vets that walk through the door. Would 100% recommend the practice! - Jess
