This was my 1st visit here,taking a relatives cat for an annual injection as the owner wasn't venturing out far due to covid 19,theres Outside parking right next to the entrance which is a real bonus,a nice & bright reception area inside with plenty of seating .The staff were very pleasant & helpful and i myself will consider switching my cat to this vets in the future after what i experienced during this visit .

Only just signed up with them. At the health check my dog was greeted by name by reception and nursing staff. She is a nervous dog at vets but they took their time offering comfort to her. All her medical records were transferred and updated. So far so good.

They know my cat, remembered a previous visit (he is accident prone!) Got an appointment straight away because I was worried he had badly injured himself. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Vet was extremely kind and thorough. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now

Friendly, caring staff. Excellent vetinary care. My dog Nacho was made to feel so welcome on his first visit, after his neutering op, I was scared he'd freak out on his next visit. No need for the worry, he bounded through the door lol. So glad I chose this lovely place for him. I have now registered all my animals here.

I rang Katie at short notice when my 11yr old British Shorthair suddenly became very poorly....She agreed to come over the same day which is amazing... Unfortunately our Blue Boy passed away before the appointment but Katie and her staff will always be remembered at our house and we'll never use any other Vet now... Professional,Caring,and Genuine..xx

I wish I had discovered this vet for my elderly dog. It would save so much stress getting an elderly dog to the vets. Use Peak vets for routine treatment of my cat nowadays. Nice and stress free for her.

Nearly three weeks ago our 13 year old German shepherd had what we thought was a stroke (we had the same experience with another old shepherd years ago and a vet came out and put him to sleep). We rang our vet, we had to call twice to get a reply. The situation went from bad to worse with the vet refusing to even give us a telephone number of anyone who could help. With hindsight, they did us a favour. We rang round in desperation (it was Sunday morning) and eventually came up with Staveley Vets. Sean answered. He was amazing. He reassured us that our dog was not going to die overnight but he was on call until 8.30 next morning and would come out any time between now and then if we felt we needed him. He said our dog had not had a stroke as we know it but a syndrome peculiar to dogs. We registered with them next morning and 3 weeks later we still have our old girl. I cannot praise this practice too highly. From Sean himself, to Goergia and all the receptionists, we have been made to feel that we are the only clients they have. Absolutely lovely people. We know our girl is on borrowed time but every day is a bonus thanks to Sean and his team. I'm sorry to rabbit on but our last vet said they were too busy to come out in surgery hours even during the week to put her to sleep, we'd have to bring her in. Sean, one of the two partners, said, if we were worried DURING THE NIGHT ON A SUNDAY, ring him and he would come out. It speaks volumes.

I came here for the first time today with my 2 year old black German Shepherd. I was a little apprehensive as previous vets have found him a bit intimidating and have asked me to muzzle him even though he's never growled or snapped before. Sean was brilliant though, he put us both at ease with his confidence. Despite Zeus barking at him initially outside, they made friends quickly and the check up went very smoothly. No muzzle or treats required. :)

Absolutely overwhelmed with the staff here, from the receptionist to the vets, nothing is too much trouble, they don't rush anything and take time to explain everything properly. We have a kitten with swimmers syndrome and they have shown us how to tape her legs. Gone through things we need to do to help her. She's also developed a slight flat chest which can be fatal but again he took his time explained what we need to do to help her to overcome this. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Gil has been fantastic with the rehabilitation of my mare following surgery at a different vets out of the area. He is always so good and calm with her and I can not thank him enough for giving me the support

Following identification and a detailed analysis of lameness in my mare Gil has been a tremendous support to me for over a year now. I have been grateful for his expertise, knowledge and the care he has shown in enabling me to get my mare back into work and for both of us to start enjoying being out and about again. The process has been slow but we have continually moved forward following Gil’s guidance and advice. Throughout the time he has monitored progress, welcomed feedback and been responsive to concerns. His genuine love of his job, calmness of manner, desire to do the best for each individual horse and their owner comes over strongly. I can’t recommend Gill highly enough.

Gil has been fantastic at supporting me with my ex racehorse, he's had a number of issues involving, kissing spines and foot balance associated lameness. Gil has worked closely with me to find the best outcome for me and my horse, who is now happily sound and in full work. I can't recommend him highly enough as a vet who genuinely cares about the horses and supports owners no matter their knowledge or expertise, to get the best result for all.

Giani is a fabulous vet. He looked after our old lovely dog Bear with care and compassion and made an awful time as easy as was possible. All the staff are great. Very professional and very caring. Thank you

Prime vets, really, are amazing. From Kimberly to other reception staff to the vets. Each & and every one of you makes the pets & parents know that our babies are in good hands. With the business small enough to make us know our pets really do get the service they deserve without the expensive price tag. Little Miss Lotti drags me into the vets instead of the opposite way around with other vets.

Great. They were brilliant with Socks on friday, he went in for sedation to have his nails clipped, blood test done and biopsy taken, they let me stay with him till he fell asleep with the sedation and let me wait in main reception till he was done and then let me sit with him again till he came round from it. Our previous vets never did that, and he used to get incredibly stressed out when I left him.

Dinu, Kimberly, Ben (and the other staff whose names I didn't get! Sorry) are brilliant. The out of hours service and follow up is great. Staff keep track of what's going on with a pet and seem to work really well together at passing on info and updating owners. I'm really grateful for the careful, thorough and compassionate care they gave to my cat. I cannot fault them and am so glad they were there to help.

Azula is always welcomed and well looked after by Chapel House. The pet plan is really good value for money. Yesterday we saw Dan who was very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection of Azulas legs.

I would really like to recommend Chapel House Vets in Staveley to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional vet practice. On our recent visit, we were greeted by lovely reception staff and again by a welcoming vet who introduced herself, called our dog by her named and listened carefully to the reason for our visit before carrying out a comprehensive examination and coming up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. Cannot fault these guys, give them a try.

Absolutely recommend they are very understanding...and fully explain all options available . Phone calls during my pets op to keep us updated throughout the day . Very caring attitude.

I've been with chapel house vets for many years now. They have known my dogs from being puppies. I can usually get to see the vet of my choice, again this is because they know my dogs so well. ( Emma or Lucy) however, all of the vets are very kind & professional. All of the staff are friendly, efficient & very helpful. Thank you for all that you do. ❤️

I’ve always felt very comfortable using these vets as it’s obvious they truly care about my dogs. Amazing care and compassion provided by Anne and the team. Our beloved Peggy was very poorly and Anne not only did the best for Peggy, but ensured we were ok. Great empathy and sympathy throughout. The handwritten personalised sympathy card was a wonderful touching surprise, thankyou.

Vets4Pets Heanor is a modern bright practice staffed by professional welcoming team. I have been taking my dog Chester here for 4 years and always felt his best needs are met.

I brought my cat in for an appointment this afternoon, and was greeted by Stacy and Sammy (sorry if I spelt names wrong!), friendly as always. I saw Anne for my appointment and it’s clear she takes patient care at a priority. Everything was explained to me in terms I understand, and took incredible care of Rue. It’s great to know I’m visiting a vets that care. I’m hoping they see this as I think it’s so important to get recognition in such a hard industry when they all work so hard to take care of all the vets that walk through the door. Would 100% recommend the practice! - Jess

Really grateful & impressed by the knowledge, support, kindness & compassion shown by this practice & all the staff including John Thompson, Dan Harding & Harriet Peck. I can only highly recommend their service, they are an excellent & genuinely caring team, from reception staff to the vets. The fees are reasonable too. I feel that my pets are in safe, caring & capable hands. We've moved from another vets & this practice seems much better & is well worth the longer journey.

Excellent practice. Staff are super. Very caring! Always keep me informed of treatments/costs etc. have used other vets but these are in my opinion the best in my area by far. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.

This was the first time we had seen vet Monica. My dog didn't want to go into the examination room, so as the waiting room was empty Monica examined him there, so not to cause him unnecessary stress. She was very friendly, answered our questions. A lovely person.

This is an excellent vets the staff are friendly and helpful and can't do enough to help you from the receptionist to the vets they all treat you and your pet with love, respect, care and dignity , I've had the most dealings with Peregrine Bowden that did an amazing job operating on my little princesses eye and later with Sarah Jones who is amazing at her job she is so lovely and nice and caring these people really don't get nowhere near the thanks and appreciation that they all deserve an excellent practice ❤️❤️😊😊 pic of my princess Rosie

Took my cats for their yearly check up. Got seen promptly, staff were very friendly and very helpful.

First visit to the vets for my new puppy couldn't have gone smoother! He never even flinched and left the vets happier than when he went in! All the staff were friendly and polite, and the nurses/vets were so caring, friendly and loving. The appointment came through very quickly and with the pet care plan, it's all fantastic value for money! Highly recommend this surgery.

The staff at chapel house vets are always very helpful, polite, friendly and genuinely care for you and especially your pets. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are at ease.

Absolutely wonderful cannot fault them. From bringing my cat Rosie in to the unfortunate of her passing. They were brilliant from start to finish kept me updated with Rosie health. Thank you from the bottom of my heart . I definitely 100 percent recommend these vets.
