Highly Recommend I had what appeared to be a very slow leak in my roof, courtesy of what I now know was a broken tile! In a nutshell, I sent an email to Kudos on a Sunday evening in early November and by 1100 the Monday morning the job was complete! Now, it's important to understand, depending on your request, this may not always be able to happen, however I want you to appreciate the 'can do' attitude and timely response to my email. At no time did I feel 'fobbed off'. Not knowing a lot about roofing myself, I had to trust what I was being told. For me, the 'test' was to ask for pictures of what was being explained to me and the work that was required and these were provided with no hesitation. I had regular contact with Andrew that morning and no work was completed without my permission. I understood exactly what was going on with my roof even though I was not present to see the work directly happen as I was at work myself. Andrew was very engaging and explained the problem to me clearly and in a language I understood! He has a lovely manner about him and I felt valued as a customer. OK, for some the job may not be perceived as a very big one, however, I would have no hesitation contacting the team again if I had further issues in addition to recommending Kudos roofing to anyone who was looking for recommendations in this area. I have experienced no further issues with my roof ...and I can assure you it has been put to the test with the recent rainfall! It was a complicated job that most roofers wouldn't touch, but that didn't put John off. Just for the initial assessment of the problem he needed to perform a complicated feat of contortionism in order to gain access. Once he had decided how it should be tackled, he provided his own scaffolding tower to cut down costs. He provided video evidence of the problem before and after the repair. Our non-standard 19th century property is now watertight from the rain. He cleared up afterwards and you would never know he had been there. He turns up on time, is honest and trustworthy and is always in a good mood. There's no one better.

My roof needed a full refurb as the underfelt was in poor condition, cement in the verges and ridge was starting to crack, and it had been largely untouched for 45 years. I had several quotes and John provided a very competitive price for the work required. He was the only person who suggested replacing the existing concrete tiles with new ones rather than cleaning them. Surprisingly, this worked out marginally cheaper than cleaning and refitting the old tiles. I now have a brand-new roof which looks amazing. Quality of work is excellent. John clearly knows his trade very well; his experience and personal quality standards could be seen throughout the work. As an example, when some of the dry verge covers did not fit as well as he liked, he changed them for an alternate make which gave a much better appearance and fit. All this extra effort was unprompted, just part of his desire to do a good job. I would fully recommend JBF roofing if you are looking for professional, high quality roof work, big project or small, John does it all!

I’ve had a persistent leak beside a dormer window which I have tried unsuccessfully to have repaired by other roofers. I found Ben on the Trading Standards website and he undertook a number of improvements to guttering, redirecting how rain drains away and replacing several areas of roof felting that had deteriorated and had been punctured. I've been hugely impressed by First Choice Roofing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I e-mailed last Thursday to request a quote; within less than fifteen minutes, I'd heard back and we arranged a visit that same day. By today (Wednesday) the work was complete! My garage roof - which had a huge amount of greenery to be removed - has been cleared, boarded and refelted to a high standard, as well as having guttering and drainpipe installed. Genuinely one of the easiest major property maintenance encounters I've ever had.
