“Really enjoyed the food even though we waited just over an hour for our starters. Me and my partner had prawn cocktails to start and a roast beef dinner as our main. It was worth the wait, heavenly mix of flavours and plenty of beef left us feeling well fed and satisfied. Provided with extra gravy upon request. The only thing I’d grumble about is the price £62 when the rest of our group seemed to pay less for the same, not sure if the server had put it in wrong when it was time to pay. Overall though a really pleasant experience, good job we had nothing planned in the afternoon.”

“Great family run pub, great choice of well poured and good quality beverages. Great schedule of entertainment and the best pub in the town. Always greeted by a smiley, friendly face. They also have a great beer garden which is awesome in summer time with entertainment and activities like Euro and world cup. Must try the Saturday night quiz.”

“Lovely pub in the small village of, Mumby Lincolnshire. We were staying g at a nearby caravan park and we decided to go there for a drink or two. It was a lovely pub and the landlady, Anne was a perfect host, and we stayed until kicking out time. As a result, we booked a table for Saturday to sample their menu, and boy we were not disappointed. Both my partner and I had the 12oz ribeye steak, it was without a doubt the best ribeye steak that I have ever tasted. I am really fussy when it comes to eating steaks, I always cut the fatty grisslely buts off, but not on this occasion I ate every single piece of it, it was superb. We will definitely be going back when we are next in the area.”

“Fabulous pub recommended by locals. We booked to make sure we had a table on a Thursday and while there were spaces we were informed weekends it is best to book. We ordered drinks that were brought to our table and food order was placed. The food we ordered was amazing, portion sizes were huge and the chips-wow!! Definitely worth a visit. Four meals and 6 drinks came in at just under £60”

“I don't often write reviews but had to write one for this lovely pub as we couldn't find fault with anything. We visited on Saturday night for a spur of the moment meal out and have to say the food was the best we have tasted anywhere in a long time. The menu was big and varied with loads to choose from, including plenty of great vegetarian and vegan options which is a priority for me being vegetarian and there was lots of homemade and old school classics which my husband really enjoyed. The service was amazing, food came out quickly, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere really good. It was by far the best place we have eaten out in a long time and will definitely return again soon.”
