Beautiful authentic Italian food, lovely staff! Doesn’t matter how many times I eat here I will always need more!! Soo delicious! Book ahead to make sure you get a table!

We visited for a family lunch this afternoon. We all absolutely loved this restaurant, felt so welcomed by the waitress and the restaurant felt really homely. The staff were fantastic. The food was absolutely out of this world. Had a real variety of dishes and whether pasta, risotto, chicken or pizza everything was fantastic and the tomato garlic bread starter was amazing. Would definitely return and recommend to friends. Wish I'd taken more pictures of the food

What an amazing place, we went for lunch on a weekday so I’m not sure how busy it gets at peak times but I hope they do well because it was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted. What a lovely family run business, well definitely be back ☺️

Brilliant food as always. Definitely the place to go in Lincoln for food. Tasty, reliable, everyone is always nice and welcoming. Been coming here for years, never had a bad meal, portion sizes are bigger than they've ever been. Highly highly recommend if you are in the Lincoln area and you're looking for the BEST restaurant in Lincoln and also Lincolnshire.

On our way back from Lincoln we stopped here for dinner and gosh was it a good idea. Staff were super friendly and managed to squeeze us in even without a booking (would advise to book as they’re very busy). We ordered several different tapas which we all enjoyed. All the food was super tasty and well cooked. We were all really satisfied with our meal. The bread basket was a great start, freshly baked and still warm. The croquettes and the seafood paella were my two favourites. 100% recommend.

Such a thrill to find this gem. All of the dishes we ordered, which all happened to be vegan, looked, smelt and tasted amazing. Lincoln was such a beautiful city, eating here was the cherry on top. Bravo!

The food was really good and the atmosphere was really chilled. The temperature was comfortable and we enjoyed the drinks. The staff were friendly. Molly and Eleanor were lovely and I look forward to going again. We had a sharing platter and everything was delicious. I have been a few times and it is always great.

This was my first time visiting but certainly won’t be the last!! Food was amazing staff were attentive without being overwhelming and a really friendly family atmosphere. We came for the curry goat and it didn’t disappoint. Just the right amount of spice and heat. Massive thank you to Eleanor and Cameron for the best date night we have had for ages

My server was Shannon and honestly she was such a lovely server! Brought my tables food round so quickly, was funny and lovely and helped us sort our bill! Food and cocktails were lovely and brought out quickly. 1000/10 would defo come again.

Just had our first takeaway from here..and was absolutely gorgeous 3 of us had diffrwnt meals and we all give 10 out of 10 deffo be going again

We called ahead for a table of eight on the spur of the moment on a Thursday afternoon, after a small family wedding. The warm and attentive service started at the door and continued through to us leaving. The food was of very good produce and quality and well received by everyone. Our six year old niece was treated to an off menu small fish and chips with little bowl of ice cream for dessert, which she devoured, a lovely touch from the landlord. What was a fantastic touch, and having been totally unannounced, the landlady hastily made a celebration dessert for our wedding duo, which was totally unexpected and loved by the bride and groom (that much they nearly ate the whole thing, much to the surprise of the landlady!). I had the Lamb shank with whitebait to start. Both were delicious. A highly recommended place for food, in a great setting.

This was our stop off during a walk! A lovely gem of a place where we enjoyed a light lunch and coffee. The staff were friendly and the service was spot on. Would definitely recommend.

The landlady and landlord are wonderful and go above and beyond everytime we visit. The food is always beautiful, the pork schnitzel is one of my favourites, closely followed by the steak pie and the sorbets are always perfect to finish. Highly recommended, so glad we found this friendly little pub.

Stopped going 9 months ago as fish consistently overcooked and chips cut too thin and hard (when you get them back,not necessarily eaten fresh from shop). New year, so decided to try again. Score 8.5/10, chips a lot better, fish not overcooked. Will come back now, having read reviews with fish supplier issues this week and hopefully score 9 or 10 next week. Thank you

Had a bit of a mixed bag of a visit. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table, we said straight away we were having the taster menu with the recommended wines. We had to ask for some table water after sitting there for some time I would have thought this would have been provided straight away. The food was nice and well presented but after the second course we had used all the cutlery that was on the table when we walked in. I would have thought after ordering the 5 course menu the extra cutlery would have been provided then unless they were hoping we were going to use the same ones and save on washing up. There were empty tables when we visited yet the tables were very close together, it was like the next table was sat with us even talking quietly we could easily hear other conversations. I don't think there was enough staff on for a Saturday night. Overall the food was nice and the wines that were recommended for each dish were a good match. 👍

Really lovely food! The steaks were cooked perfectly, and definitely the best food we’ve had in Lincoln. The onion rings are clearly homemade and are just delectable. Very nice owner too. Would thoroughly recommend.

Such a welcoming place, great staff and a warm atmosphere. The decor is eclectic and stylish, the staff friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. The kebabs are to die for, tender, moist chicken with a drizzling of garlic oil, lovely . As a footnote, the toilets were impressive as well

The food was nice, my steak was a bit dry and not really as medium rare as I wanted to. But the rest was really good. Totally loved their starters and never skip desserts :))) The service was amazing. The staff shall make sure you’re noticed and taken care of during the time you dine with them.

Excellent service, beautiful chain restaurant. We were seated in a lovely corner away from most people and that suited us perfectly! A very good allergy menu; just a wee bit pricier than our local indie restaurants! Good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Lift for access to the top floor. Staff were brilliant!

I recently visited The Botanist in Lincoln, and it was an absolute treat! The vibe was amazing—cozy yet lively, with a unique botanical decor that set the perfect atmosphere for a great night out. I ordered the Korean chicken, and it was next-level delicious. The crispy, flavorful chicken with just the right amount of spice hit the spot. I also couldn’t resist the garlic bread, which was perfectly toasted and oozing with garlicky goodness. And yes, I definitely had more than my share of drinks🥂 their cocktail menu is creative and packed with refreshing options. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure everything was spot on. Overall, it was an awesome evening, and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and vibes in Lincoln.

We love this place and are here very regularly, the portions are very generous and value for money is brilliant. The staff are fantastic and the food is exceptional. We booked the marquee for our wedding reception in May and had a beautiful hog roast. We had a number of Vegan and Vegetarian guests and the team were more than happy to accommodate and make the menu flexible to cater for this.. The Bridge Inn helped to make our day extra special and everybody loved the food and atmosphere :D

Loved everything about our meal! You could tell that the food was fresh and made with love, and the servers were really friendly! I definitely recommend the Tiramisu and the Cannelloni Spinaci. Both were delicious, and the Cannelloni arrived piping hot.

Lovely pub situated not far from Burton upon Trent town centre, not the largest of pubs and would recommend you book as not to be disappointed - it gets busy. Excellent selection of Italian food, ordered from the lunch time set menu which was 3 courses for £25. Good selection, food was great full of flavour and freshness. Welcoming and friendly staff, well worth a visit.

We had hunters chicken and pies all were delicious. Parking was good. Very cold in the restaurant. A couple of hiccups with booking time and not being able to pay by card which held us up getting food.

I bloody love this place. I brought my parents here for lunch today as they were up visiting me and I knew we'd get excellent food and service. We all opted for the Grimsby Haddock and chips with mushy peas and they were magnificent! The fish was enormous and I ended up only having a handful of the lovely chips as a result, but it was so tasty - as if we were having fish and chips at the seaside. The staff as always were very friendly and the service was perfect. I hadn't been in the garden before but it is a lovely little suntrap and we enjoyed it immensely. This pub is also very dog friendly and having 3 dogs along with us was no problem at all. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for some lovely grub in a friendly environment.
