Desi Kitchen & Grill House

393 Pelham Rd, Immingham DN40 1NG, UK | Indian Restaurant

Rating: 4.6 (74) Price Level:

First time dining in here, first thought was that the seating area was quite small but it wasn’t crowded which was nice, the atmosphere was really good and the waitresses were so lovely. The wait was a little long but was grateful for that as the serving sizes were huge so gave our belly’s chance to settle, plus it was a Saturday night and you could see how busy they were. The food though was absolutely worth the wait. The pickle tray had plenty of selection, I got the samosas which were so good! And then I ordered the tandoori chicken which was full of flavour and tender. Only thing that was disappointing was I didn’t have room to look at the desert menu but will absolutely be back

Excellent takeaway again. Food arrived hot and fresh. The food was really nice and flavoursome. Good portions of meat with the mains. Arrived before expected time, even on a Saturday night.

It's small, but it's darn good. We've eaten there a couple of times now, and it's a very good Indian. Menu isn't huge, like some Indians, but hey, too much to choose from isn't always fun either. However, what you get is just superb and still plenty of dishes to choose from. Plus, they do the Indian beer hubby likes. We've had an Indian takeaway from there as well.. That was just as good..

Normally eat in and always been more than satisfied but today had our Christmas meal as a takeaway. Proved to be the best Indian meals I have ever tasted. We ordered far too much so will last for a few days. Absolutely wonderful, thanks for making our day Desi.

My first time the other night with my wife and daughter. We all loved the food and the service was excellent. It's quite small so difficult to build an atmosphere till it's busy. With that said it was a place I will recommend. They do children's sizes for those not greedy as my self.

Last visit not very successful. Fish stuck to paper so no batter left on and fish just broke up trying to lift it onto place so definately didnt look nice. Had better fish that is for sure.

Popped in and was served quickly! The chips were only £2.50 and tasted great with a quite larger portion. Menus were available to take which show all the prices (see images attached). Overall, prices appear reasonable and good tasted and looked amazing! Will definitely be back again.

Great takeaway. Food is always hot & tasty. I keep getting their special calzon, chicken, doner, green pepper& mushroom with added jalapeños. Mouth is watering as I type! There are lots of other pizzas, burgers, kebabs etc to try.. My favourite in the area is always Fabios Pizzeria.

Green Man

Been here for a couple of lunches on a Sunday. Staff are really friendly and accommodating, food has been good both times. My only con would be it was quite cold as the radiator next to us wasn't working. Though the place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Will come back here again to try the outdoor seating in summer as it looks like a good set up for warmer weather outside!

Nice little country pub with two bars and a dog friendly seating area. Delicious, freshly cooked food, and a good selection of beers at the bar. Service is quite slow, however, as seems to be a lack of staff.

I visited with my brother on a Sunday (10/04/22) and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff who sat us down as soon as we walked in and gave us time to choose drinks. When drinks were chosen we decided upon a starter and a main. As you can see from the photos the starters were amazing quality and tasted incredible this was made better by the presentation. The main meals were also great (see photos) I went with a pie and as you can see it was quite large and was filled to the brim with beef and gravy this was served with mash and veg all amazing. The brother had a chicken burger and said it tasted really good. Update 21/08/22 went in for a roast dinner and it was great (see photo) As for drinks they have a wide selection of beer, ale, cocktails, cider, wine etc prices being quite reasonable. There was also a large beer garden with lots of tables and even a small play area for the kids. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo but trust me it's nice in the sun! 26/03/22 visited again the menu appears to have been updated. Staff now come to tables to take orders and bring drinks. We had the Korean chicken burger (Not too sure what was Korean about it) which was tasty. Dessert was also good we had a cheesecake and a chocolate brownie. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much bother for them. Will definitely visit again!
