It was the first visit to Tarantion’s for me and my partner this New Year Eve. We had an early table around 18:00hrs the food and the service was lovely and we were made very welcome. We were both totally stuffed after we left. Thank you for a lovely evening and great experience. All The Best For 2025 John.

We found this restaurant last year and absolutely loved it. Forgot to review that time but we revisited last night. I would highly recommend anyone who loves great food to give this place a try. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. The portion sizes are more than reasonable and the flavours are just amazing. The staff are fantastic with nothing being too much trouble, the food arrives freshly cooked and the waiting time is minimal. It looks like they have expanded slightly since our last visit as they now have an enclosed seating area on the side of the restaurant with a fold back roof so business must be good. I'm not surprised as this place is a great experience and one we certainly intend to repeat.

Me and my husband went there for a date night and the food was absolutely amazing. Best pasta I have ever had and I’ve had lots of creamy seafood pastas in my life. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari for starters and the linguine seafood pasta for Maine. Lovely chef and staff.

Honestly the best meal I’ve had in some time. Service was unreal. Waitresses had a good laugh with us. Everything perfect. We’ll definitely be back. Some pics of our unreal food.

Lovely food. Nicest restaurant we found in Skeggy. Big portions. 4 of us had 2 starters and a main each and we couldn’t finish it (and I can eat A LOT!). Homemade pasta was a winner. £112 for 4 with 2 starters, pint of Peroni and a nice bottle of red wine.

Came here with my family to eat in celebration of my birthday. We were seated on the lakeside with a beautiful view and even better food ! I got a gorgeous pizza with a side of truffle mac n cheese .
Rating: 4 / 5
Food was amazing, staff were all very friendly and the service was fast! I had the sirloin steak which was excellent. Partner had a pizza that looked very tasty. There is no kids menu but we found out later that you can order smaller versions of the mains for children - would have been nice to have been told that when we arrived. Our daughter ate from the starters instead. We will certainly be back next year.

2nd time we have been here. The first time with friends, they recommended here. We were not disappointed. Tonight we came with my dad ( a retired hotelier) he said the food, service, was top notch. Thank you for delicious food and amazing service. May I point out the waiter, he made my night the first time and also tonight. He was attentive, not over the top, displayed a sense of humour, polite and very professional. Our meal was exceptional. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

Delicious food, great variety, really tasty. All staff are very friendly.

Amazing place, so far the best in Skegness. We had a Sunday roast and it was lovely, the meat was juicy, we had beef and lamb. The veg cooked well, not soggy and all was very tasty. The staff are lovely, helpful and polite, with smiley faces. The place is clean and the first without sticky tables. Totally recommend.

Update: We still really can't fault this lovely little restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was really tasty and fresh. Not over-seasoned or over-sweet. The atmosphere was welcoming and prices were very reasonable. Just been back for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended 🤩
Rating: 5 / 5
Very friendly staff, good service, good food. Only criticism being there could do with being garlic bread as a side and maybe some desserts. Overall very lovely place and would recommend!
Rating: 5 / 5
We visited last night for the first time after a glowing recommendation from a family friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Started with the antipasto to share. Then we both had the spaghetti carbonara each and both enjoyed it. The staff so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere great.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great little place, food was lovely and service was great, they were very busy when we went but we were still served and looked after quickly. Thought the food was a little bit expensive but not ridiculous. Overall fantastic.

Steak N Stuff
36-38 Castleton Blvd, Skegness PE25 2TS, UK | Restaurant P: 01754 611979
Rating: 4.7 (531) Price Level:
Beautiful food, friendly staff and lovely welcoming atmosphere. Steak was perfectly cooked, tasty and juicy! Very good value for money, massive filling food portions and homemade pepper sauce was perfect. They even managed to get us a table at short notice, but advisable to book in advance. Do not let the front appearance put you off, amazing food and such good value for money! Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Skegness!
Rating: 4 / 5
Best steak I have had in a long time. Food was great my only two criticisms I have is we had to wait an hour for our food to arrive but once it was there it was very nice, the layout of the restaurant is very cramped we were put in a booth which for someone who is over 6ft was not great I could hardly move, place would probably benefit from getting rid of those. Other than that it is worth a visit and is worth the wait and value for money.
Rating: 5 / 5
Absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, making our visit feel truly special. And the food? Exceptional! Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. A definite must-visit for anyone looking for great service and delicious food!
Rating: 5 / 5
This place ain't no joke, it may look it from the outside if you ain't from around the area but the food is amazing and for the price you pay, the portions are massive. It's small inside and in demand so recommend you book via the phone! Thanks Steak N Stuff for a great meal.

Sunday dinner was really lovely plenty of choice. The price was really great and the service couldn’t have been better as they got us in at the last min. The lamb and beef so tender and the gravy well proper meat gravy. We’re local so definatly going back. Even managed to get a couple of take away menu for home delivery for my old ladies I know. Perfect.

If you're after something a little more special then the stereotypical fish and chips and want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds ... then this is the perfect place for you. It's a 13 min walk from the pier. It also has parking on site. Staff were lovely, the restaurant was clean and well presented. Prices are decent. Food was absolutely amazing 🤤 Make sure you leave room for dessert ... you won't be disappointed!

Spent a night here and can't fault it. Perfect location, everything a short walk away. Parking was free, just registered at check in. £10 to check in earlier but was extremely hot out so didn't mind, and very glad we did. Room very cool with working air con. Family room with 2 single beds and a double. Very comfy and all slept great. Tv in room, bath and shower, plenty of towels and toiletries all made for a pleasant stay. Breakfast had a lot of variety and couldn't fault anything. Would stay again.

Been visiting Skegness area for 9 years and 4 years ago we found this beauty!! It is absolutely brilliant. Service, prices and food are outstanding. We stay at Southview and we come off site everyday when visit to eat. fresh home made foods and they are amazing with out little girl. Thank you!!!!
Rating: 4 / 5
Went in for brunch, and was immediately greeted and shown to a table. A good selection of meals, which are very reasonably priced. Good children's meal prices too, which helps with fussy/small eaters. Food was off a decent quality and cooked well. Server's were interactive, rather than just serving which is nice. Overall, highly rated and would stop again if in the area, or use frequently if local.

Absolutely amazing food at very reasonable prices. My wife and I were on holiday nearby and we passed this place a couple of times before deciding to visit. Our only disappointment is that we didn't visit sooner. The staff were great and the food was hot and tasty. Would 100% recommend Poppy's to anyone if they are looking for great food, with plenty of choice.

We came last night. 8 adults, 1 baby, total bill £309 1 Bottle of red wine 2 large glasses of rose, 2 large white wines, 2 beers, 5 cokes & 8 - 3 course meals. The staff are amazing. Very accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing. The only thing that was disappointing was the lobster ravioli it's filling wasn't very tasty and seemed more like a processed pate, needless to say our friend still ate it and didn't complain but I felt it should be added into the review for others, it's not expensive for the plate £11 - they're HUGE portions. The steak was cooked to perfection. The chips a little soggy and could use a extra few minutes but they're tasty nevertheless. The stilton sauce wasnt over powering, good for us but some others might expect more of a punch. The desserts were lovely!! I would highly recommend this place. It wasn't expensive for the level of service and fresh food you get!
Rating: 5 / 5
Didn't have a reservation, as normally don't enjoy solo dining was going to get something to go,but decided to eat in. Was shown to a quiet out of the way table. The grilled goats cheese and lobster ravioli was just perfect. Service by the two young staff was great. Changed my solo dining phobia!!
