Juliet and Richard are truly excellent teachers. They did a remarkable job in preparing my son for assessment for schools in Singapore(coming from Norway with mother tongue Norwegian) They made learning interesting and fun for him and he truly looked forward to and enjoyed every lesson. My children have been tutored by Cambridge Academic Tutors to prepare them for their 11+ and 13+ examinations. The team go above and beyond and genuinely care about their students. My son didn't like mathematics very much until he was taught by Richard. Richard helped him develop his confidence and encouraged him to work to his fullest potential. Richard has also really helped my children with interview practice and I'm so pleased that both my children have gotten into the secondary schools of their top choices. Elizabeth is also a fantastic English teacher. She teaches the subject with passion and expertise, and challenges her students in just the right way. Juliet, Richard and Anna have an incredible gift for teaching. They helped in preparing my daughter for her 11+ exams and I am very pleased to say that she received offers from all the schools we applied to. They are also tutoring my son who is currently in Year 4. Having sat in most of the lessons, I must say that their manner of teaching is refreshing. They are very patient and really know how to keep the children motivated (which is no small feat with my 8 year old)! Couldn’t rate expert tuition higher. I have just finished my economics A level and in all honesty without using Expert tuition resources and livestreams I would have done nowhere near as well as I feel I have done. For any year 12 or year 13 student studying economics I would really recommend either going to one of the courses or at least watching the livestreams before you do you exams! Otherwise you are at a major disadvantage.

Gerard was a first rate tutor via Zoom for our daughter throughout the later part of year 11. He was organised, explained concepts clearly and was very helpful in providing question practice. His lessons instilled a confidence in our daughter which she never gained from lessons at school. She achieved an A, and this was largely down to the work Gerard did with her. He was very helpful in organising extra lessons as exam season approached. I cannot recommend his tutoring service highly enough and only wish we had found him earlier.

We first had Gerard tutor our son for a short time to prepare for 10 plus entrance and it was very successful as he gained a scholarship. Our son has been struggling with GCSE maths and has been lacking confidence and we suggested getting a tutor and he asked for Gerard again. In 2 months, my son's confidence is so much higher and he says he understands what he does in school lessons much more clearly thanks to Gerard. Hopefully this understanding and confidence will carry on into the exams this summer. I just wanted to edit this to say, we received my son's GCSEs today and we are delighted with the result he achieved in maths, after starting the year barely scraping a 6. Extremely happy with the staff at Charlton Riverside. They really care about the children's education. My kids really enjoy the way Maths and English are taught here and tutors make a real effort to build rapport with the children and support them with their learning. Regular catch-ups are scheduled to discuss the children's performance and it's also a chance for me to ask any questions I have throughout the year. I think the weekly classes have improved my kids' school grades (my kids do one class a week). They also offer 11+ for any parents looking to go down the grammar school route.
