Whereas with other tradespeople it was a lot of head scratching, deep intakes of breath and silly prices, Simon provided practical solutions and got the job done quickly at fair and reasonable rates. He offered sound advice and was very accommodating, working around me and my young family with no fuss and no mess. Thanks Simon. Highly recommend!

We've had a very good experience with Simon, who is knowledgable, reliable and efficient. Came to service our boiler, managed to solve the problem we've had for several years that other engineers said couldn't be fixed. He explained everything he did as he worked. Absolutely incredible service my daughter was without a boiler all weekend due to her landlord being abroad. Mr Ali knew what the problem was though years of experience - a presiure problem needing a new controle unit - he just worked at it until it came fully back to life.The God of the unboilered sent him to me. The price was good too - less than he predicted. If you have a problem - you need AA - a real Emergency service. Put the details on your phone. I've been dealing with Mercury Plumbing for several years as David has been looking after my rental properties. For example he has installed a new boiler, investigated shower leak, carries out boiler servicing & has made emergency calls. All work has been carried out perfectly & is fairly priced. A touch better than excellent - what a decent professional plumber which clearly knows his stuff. Installed a new boiler at a fair price. It took two days but we didn’t go without hot water overnight. This was not the first time he has helped us out. We had a problem with the downstairs toilet tank filling too high and leaking but also the water was hot. Dave had a look and diagnosed the problem as the connection for the toilet was to the hot water and had to re-pipe this correctly. Also the cup float/fill valve in the tank was replaced so we now have a much better functioning toilet fill valve. All in all the service was great, the problems corrected, done at a very good price and Dave is a really pleasant person. After looking for plumbers on Google, I read reviews on Mercury Plumbing & Heating and I am glad that I did. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We used Etta for installation of 2 new radiators. Fantastic service and detailed surveying of the best way to complete the job. Costs were detailed and upfront. Fantastic communication from Steve and the guys who came to do the job were spot on. Steve has also taken out of hours phone calls to get my heating system back up and running after a valve failed(not related to the installation). Highly recommend using Etta.

We would highly recommend Etta. They have been looking after our central heating for some years now but this winter the boiler reported a fault and stopped working. Our system is old with various alterations and accessibility problems which meant that the cause of the problem took a lot of finding. However, Etta's excellent heating engineers were not to be defeated. Although the boiler was failing to work it was actually the pump that was at fault. We now have a fully working system with a new pump. Thank you Etta for getting to the bottom of the problem and not jumping to conclusions and unnecessarily replacing the boiler.

Fitted my new underfloor heating, downstairs toilet and sink, put in a new outside tap, all new mains water into the house as well as the lots of little jobs that i asked him to do. his work is to a high standard and i would not use anyone else.

Very deserving of their numerous 5 star reviews. Dealt with a very nice gentlemen on the phone and harry arrived promptly. He identified the issue quickly and had the part ordered straight away. All in and working now. Harry were very personable and informative. Its good to find a local company you would not hesitate to call again and again! (but hopefully not too often).

Great response time and work carried out to a high standard with minimal fuss. I had an emergency water leak coming from the ceiling, they diagnosed quickly and explained the process throughout I was very happy with Fast Emergency plumber and the job and have already made some arrangements to do further jobs, what better recommendation than to be asked to do more work. 10/10 Service :)

Simon attended to repair a serious leak above the dining room ceiling. Access proved to be quite difficult but Simon worked round the problem, identified the source of the leak and sorted everything out for us very professionally, keeping damage and mess to an absolute minimum and charging a very fair price for the work. This is the second time Simon has done work for us and I can't recommend him highly enough. A really nice guy and an honest and expert tradesman.
