Bits and Bobs and Beyond is a great addition to the village, a hardware shop with so many more things you didn’t know you needed! Alex always has what I need straight away and is always on hand with advice. Great key cutting service too, the best around. We had a job lot of office keys cut by Alex after a batch previously cut elsewhere didn’t work properly, these ones are perfect. If you’re around Knebworth, do pop in and support a local small business!

Just got great service yet again at this new store. Key cut quickly and works great. Plus some good advice on which bit of hardware tape to choose. Can’t beat a local business with someone friendly and knowledgeable able to help you. Recommended.

Highly recommend Arc Locksmiths! Had an issue with my key fob and couldn’t get it working. Called Arc and two friendly helpful guys came out within a couple of hours and had both fobs sorted quickly. Thanks for the extra info re the keyless start!

Had some issues today with my ignition barrel today on my ford, I was recommended to see these guys by my mobile mechanic who arranged me to visit them. I was greeted by friendly faces and the offer of a cuppa, they removed the barrel which they stripped and rebuilt which I was able to watch and interesting to see. They then cut and programed to new keys as the were worn and the batteries were dead. These guys are fantastic and I can't recommend them enough, really glad I found these guys, call with confidence

My key fob was completely snapped. Luckily the snap hadn’t gone through the chip and whilst the key could not be replaced at the time it was secured so that I could use for the time being until a replacement was available. I couldn’t have asked for more it was definitely the highest level of service by far. What an absolute treat. Thank you

Given 5 stars because that is exactly what they are! Absolute stars! I don’t know how or why it happened but I locked my keys in my car after strapping in my 3 year old. He’s non verbal and unable to understand or follow instructions. He was also strapped into car seat. He couldn’t get out to unlock the door as I tried to get him to do. He simply didn’t understand and became quite distressed. These guys were the second on the list to call at the time. The previous auto locksmith didn’t answer. They took the location and was there within 10 minutes. Took around 5 mins to actually get into my car and get me to my very upset boy. They worked so quickly. Tried to calm my boy too and made my anxiety settle as soon as they showed up. I’m a nervous mummy on the best days. I get so worried and panicky over things like this. There was absolutely no hesitation in them at all from the moment they answered the phone. They were there and on the job in literally 10 mins. Absolutely brilliant service from Drummond Security! We stupidly bought an Alfa Romeo without a spare key and was quoted in excess of £300 by the main dealer. Drummond quoted and supplied a new coded key, at our home, in under 2 days, for less than half!! Extremely professional and friendly service, with great communication throughout the process. Very knowledgeable of their profession and I cannot recommend highly enough!

Brilliant service. Emergency call out for a busted key which my door lock had decided to swallow! Drummond’s had an engineer with me within 20 mins of my tale of woe. He was able to retrieve the buried broken piece, checked both my spare keys and the lock itself to make sure I hadn’t damaged the lock itself in the process. He had things sorted very quickly on arrival and I was no longer locked out! Would definitely recommend Drummond Security to others.

Such patient and understanding service at Drummond today. Elderly parents had locked themselves out and were very anxious of course. No hesitation to give timely help and still wonderfully courteous and free with advice when we luckily resolved the issue prior to their arrival. Had extra keys cut on the spot in store and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. No call out fee is ever added on with these guys, just a rate change for weekends as you'd expect. So lucky to have them near by.

I must confess, I’m not the easiest customer to deal with. In today’s world many businesses just don’t deliver what they say. But I’m delighted to say that my faith has been restored. Received amazing service from this company. We went in for advice regarding the right lawnmower for our needs. 5 minutes later had purchased one. We had to return a day or so later as we couldn't start it, Adrien took it into the workshop and two minutes later out it came out working perfectly. Our special thanks must go to Adrien who was extremely knowledgeable helpful and friendly, without him I'm sure we wouldn't have made the purchase. I usually service my old lawnmower here and when it was time to replace it for a new one, I Could not think of a better trust worthy place to go. I received very knowledgeable info on various lawnmower from size to functionality specs and then electric, petrol or diesel options. I made my choice quickly after getting such great info and customer service. I have not had any trouble with my mower since . Great service for a reasonable price. It is also a one stop shop as they have other garden and hardware stuff.

Excellent and fast service! I didn’t expect my boots to look the way they do now. Not only did they do a great job replacing the entire sole and heel but also the quality of polishing left me flabbergasted because they look like new even - you can’t tell they’re about 18 years old leather boots. Yes, it might have been a little expensive to repair them but worth every penny, I’m over the moon as these are my favourite pair of boots. They also did a fantastic job polishing my husband’s leather shoes. You can’t see any of the scratches they had. Friendly staff. Great customer service too. Location - Stevenage town centre
