Austin's Gardens were excellent when it came to designing, landscaping and planting my garden. Richard really listened to what I wanted, came up with imaginative ideas that fit my budget, and then delivered on time with work that was neat and professional throughout. He worked with other constructors (conservatory and driveway), and was flexible and an excellent communicator. Unreservedly recommend him and his team!

Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. All the team were extremely professional and explained the process and helped us pick the plants which were low maintenance but ensure the garden looks beautiful all year throughout. Spending time in the garden today has proved a welcome escape from the wider world. I would highly recommend Austin Gardens and are now planning on getting the team to rework out back garden.

What a marvellous experience from start to finish it was, working with Richard and his team to revamp my formal front garden! Richard is patient and exceedingly knowledgeable and kept me fully informed and engaged every step of the way, from concept to completion. It was a pleasure to have Richard and Lottie working here. We were absolutely delighted with the superb job Richard Austin did in designing our beautiful new garden. He closely consulted with us throughout the process, listening carefully to all of our specific requirements - whether with regards to plants and features, or budget and timescales - and offered thoughtful guidance and expertise. Once the final designs were produced - during which time Richard regularly consulted with us and took in our feedback - Richard successfully project managed the hard landscaping which (due to geographical constraints) was outsourced to another firm. He himself then did a very fast, effective and highly professional job of the planting, sourcing the plants at the best quality and price. We have been delighted by the results, the garden never ceases to draw admiring comments from visitors and is getting progressively better as the years go by. Thank you for doing such an outstanding job for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to others.

Jason did various jobs for my elderly mum. Chopped down a small tree, trimmed some bushes, cleared all the autumn leaves up and fixed a fence broken by the wind. Eddie and his colleague were incredibly professional and collaborative from start to finish. They responded quickly and came out immediately to assess the damage to my fence after a recent storm. Eddie provided a fair and honest quote, and the work was carried out to a high standard. They not only repaired the fence but also installed three sturdy posts to ensure it remains secure in the future. As an added bonus, they kindly offered to repair my gate free of charge. All Gardens York came today to replace a 20 year old bamboo fence and worked tirelessly to complete the job. They made a perfect hedgehog hole so hogs can still get through to feed in my garden. Hard working, friendly and reliable, what more can you ask?

So pleased to have found Ed and Kris! A friend recommended them when we wanted to remove an old pond surrounded by stone chippings and replace them with a patio and extra long planter and to repoint our original patio. They gave us a fair price and carried out the work quickly and professionally. Hard workers and also receptive to a slight change of plan part way through the job. Nothing too much trouble and their sole aim is a happy customer. Very highly recommended!

Christiane took on quite a challenging job for us with a garden that was a mixture of mud and concrete. She listened to what we wanted and also gave us inspiration and guidance by showing us an array of pictures and taking us through some of her previous work. She then gave us a design that was exactly what we were looking for but we could not have come up with ourselves, and a planting and maintenance plan to bring it to life. The Landscaping is now done and Christiane spent the day with us placing the plants ready to be planted. The work thus far has already transformed the space and we are looking forward to the plants growing and maturing. Christiane has always been a pleasure to work with and we can highly recommend her.

Christiane redesigned the borders in our back garden and designed a new planting scheme and screening for the front. She is very easy to work with and our old borders having being planted for many years were a challenge to remove all of the old roots but Mark and his team did an amazing job. Brilliant service. My mother's getting on a bit, she loves gardening but with almost half an acre , maintenance was becoming just too much for her. Completely transformed our back garden with this fantastic (and rather big) composite decking project. The quality of the workmanship is top rate and the design and layout is exactly as we wanted. The guys put in a serious shift each day despite some pretty awful weather at times, and were an absolute delight to have working on our property. Considerate of neighbours too. We couldn't be happier with the final result and would 100% recommend them to anyone in the area.

We recently used York Gardens to lay a patio and raise a new fence. Mark and his team do an excellent job. Mark is very prompt with quotes, replying to queries whilst his team do a very professional and thorough job. Matt was very good on site explaining their plan before they started and answering some initial questions and concerns I had. We’ve had a lot of work done on our property recently and no one can top the communication Mark provides and the quality of work done on site. I would definitely recommend using York Gardens!

We used York Gardens to lay a patio where we had previously had a trampoline. Dan and team did an excellent job and were extremely professional. The patio has transformed the garden and it looks fantastic. We really appreciate the work they have done and in all weathers. The service was excellent from Mark coming out to look at the area and sending the quote to the team finishing the job and I would highly recommend them.

The company was recommended to me by a friend. The quote for the work wasn't the cheapest but I felt it was realistic. I have had a new front path laid and wooden arch built across the entrance. The work has been carried out to a high standard. Connor and Connor were polite, friendly and a pleasure to have working at the property. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this Company.

Great experience with Scorfield Building and Landscaping! We knew roughly what landscaping we wanted doing, and David helped us firm up our ideas, and gave a quick and comprehensive quote, and was really helpful with the inevitable changes and additions we asked for through the process. The Great British weather meant that there was a delay in starting the work, but David kept us fully informed about what was happening with dates. Communication throughout has been first class.The team that arrived to do the job were great , and exceptionally tidy and friendly in their work. Most importantly, the new patio and other landscaping has been in place for a few weeks now and we are delighted with the workmanship and finish. Would fully recommend!

After years of trying other local gardening services its such a relief to finally find a reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable company. After an initial full visit on my garden to get it back under control I now have the team every 2 weeks to keep it looking its best.
