Satisfied customer. Lounge refurb. Lights, switches,sockets. Wiring, chasing in. Walls already very bad so patresses were sometimes less than completely horizontal. Morrocan sourced pendants needed reworking. Abdul did it all. Came back at short notice to fix one pendant and eventually sourced to a faulty bulb. Reasonably priced and went the extra.

Usually inviting tradesmen into the home is a stressful and traumatic experience. Amy and her team are just the opposite. They’re lightning fast, work super hard, and are extremely professional and polite. Just a joy to have around. Amy is very clear with her pricing, no surprise costs. They’re really respectful and careful of your home—shoes off, no touching of freshly painted walls, tidied up after themselves, vacuumed etc. They really know their stuff, I’ll be recommending to anyone who asks if I know an electrician!

Fabulous electricians - great problem solvers and their work is first rate. Worked hard all day and left the room clean and tidy at the end (including putting floorboards back into place after having had to lift them). I used John annually for the PAT testing at my restaurant. He was punctual and professional and had a great attention to detail, ensuring that all the equipment in the restaurant was completely safe. What impressed me the most was that if a piece of equipment initially failed he would do what ever he could to make it safe and then retest it so that it passed the test rather than just taking the easy option and marking it as failed.

I called ‘Emergency Electrician London’ after a failed Smart Meter installation by our energy company (sub-contracted out to Magnum Utilities) left us with no power in the house at all. I got an answering machine initially but didn’t leave a message as I thought I’d just try another company. However, Cyril called back within 2 mins. and agreed to pop around within 90 mins. He arrived after about 60 mins. and got to work straight away and managed to find the issue after about 10 mins (a disconnected wire). He explained to me exactly what had happened and got the power back on within another 5 mins. and then he proceeded to check all the other connections to ensure they were tight - some were very loose. All in all he was very professional, on time and he clearly knew what he was doing. Overall I’m very happy with his service and thankful for his quick response and fix.

The call handler was very sympathetic and professional and got a next day appointment to allow for childcare cover. electricians arrived and got the job done in about half an hour - they had to reposition two double sockets and just replace other. very friendly, efficient and showed me working sockets. Having a working kitchen again will be money well spent so I am well happy, thank you

Lloyd and his team did an absolutely fantastic job at our property. The booking system is extremely easy to use and you have full transparency on who is coming to do the work and how they are getting on with the journey. Communication with Lloyd was excellent throughout. He was very quick with responses at all hours of the day (including weekends) and always went out of his way to provide very detailed explanations of what kind of work needed to be done, why they were recommending it be done a certain way, etc. He gained our trust from the very first interaction and we were never disappointed. In terms of the actual work carried out, we first had an EIRC done which highlighted a lot of remedial work required, as the property we recently bought had been somewhat neglected in that respect. We discussed the results with Lloyd and got a very fair and practical recommendation on which items were important vs nice to have. In the end we decided to take him up on most of the work and that required multiple visits, but all was carried out seamlessly. The finished work is to a very high standard and we are overall very happy and would wholeheartedly recommend Lloyd and his team.

I needed an electrical timer on an immersion heater uograded, and a switch elsewhere replaced. I was on a tight deadline and they went out of their way to help me get it resolved in time. Lloyd is probably the most professional, empathetic and thorough tradesman I have ever dealt with. His work and that of his team is consistently first class (I have used the company of a few occasions), his availability is extremely reasonable and he is always available to talk to on the phone. In addition, when my tenants had no power, he was on the phone sending videos and instructions to them at midnight and they were able to fix the problem in 10 minutes. Bravo, what a sensational business you run. I give at least 6 stars for Lloyd Hallowell Electrics!

I’m no end grateful to David of North London Electricians. I picked them by instinct out of the list that came up when, at about 11.30 on Bank Holiday Saturday night and with us due to travel next morning, the incoming RCD to half our fuse board went down and wouldn’t be pushed back up, stopping power to all but one light in the kitchen and throughout the ground floor and all the sockets, as well as the boiler, conjuring visions of everything in the full freezer ruined and the stuff in the packed dishwasher furry with mould by the time we got back, I googled for an emergency electrician. The phone was picked up after just a few rings, a man asked me what the problem was, and then talked me through what to do about it. In a few minutes all was working again. I thanked him as warmly as I could and asked if I might make a donation to North London Electricians. “That’s all right,” he said, “just recommend us to other people.” That’s when I asked what his name was, and besides having since recommended him and his company to three different friends, here I am recommending them gratefully to everybody else.

Just before we were about to leave the house on Christmas Eve to travel to visit family, something shorted in our electrics and blew most of the fuses in the fusebox. I tried flipping fuses back but couldn't get some to go and got a big flash from one of them! I phoned a few electricians I knew but there were no answers, so I tried North London Electricians. They called me back quickly and the guy talked me through how to reset the fuse box and isolate the problematic fuse, so we could safely leave the house with essential things like the freezer still working. And he didn't charge me for his help. These guys saved Christmas for us!
