Highly Recommended. Dr. Simin has a passion to fundamentally understand your dental health. I wish I had gotten to know her sooner as I would have prevented my gum disease, had I known sooner what I know now. Dr. Simin has managed to reverse some of the damage and I'm a good road to recovery without having lost any teeth. My situation arose when one of my molar teeth felt loose. I had complained to my regular dentist that my gums were constantly bleeding when brushing, and although his dentistry is very good, did not commit to the issue and educate me in the same way that Dr. Simin did. With Surbiton Smile Centre, it was the first time that I became familiar with "pockets", and I had some pockets as deep as 15mm, with many in the region of 8mm. There was decay under a couple of teeth and significant bone loss. I have had minimal fillings in my life, always maintained good dental hygiene, but was slack with flossing and visiting the hygienist ( they all tell you to floss and no one consistently does - do you!). What I was not aware of, are these "pockets" under the gum line, and a concept of root planning. This is the real reason you visit the Hygienist - so they can get the plaque out from under the gum line, out of these pockets. In the end, Dr. Simin has built up some of the missing bone and treated the infections, the pockets have reduced substantially and everything is a lot more settled and stable than before. You can never replace the lost gum tissue, at best they can halt the progression of the disease, but Dr. Simin has surgically managed to rebuild some of the bone with great results. I'm very happy to recommend her services. The only thing you may need to get used to is running a bit late - because she is so absorbed in her work!

As a 62 year old and having one of my front teeth protruding (despite having 2 veneers put on by a previous dentist), I felt very self conscious when I laughed or spoke as I felt everyone was looking at my mouth. I decided to ask Simin if there was something / anything that could be done but not sure if it would work on a person of my age, or if I had left it too long and it was no longer an option. As I only wanted treatment for my front teeth, Simin suggested Sure Smile treatment which is very much like Invisalign where you wear a clear aligner and change it every 2 weeks when your teeth begin to change position. I was very excited to hear that it was possible and, with Theo’s orthodontic expertise, after 18 months I have now finished the painless process and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I could see the process starting to work within a couple of weeks! A big thank you to Simin and her team for their professional care and interest in regaining my confidence - I can't thank them enough and would advise anyone thinking about any treatment to visit the Smile Centre as I would highly recommend it.

I needed quite a bit of dental work so went to a few different surgeries to get their opinions. I chose Surbiton Smile Centre because Dr Soltani actually gave me options - all of which would work to varying degrees and, significantly, to varying costs. She took the time to try the most cost-effective option, but always with the possibility of shifting course if needed. Eventually, to get my teeth decently functional, I needed quite a few crowns - including on front teeth. She allowed me time to get used to the adjustments as the process went on, and always made sure each stage was both comfortable and looked good. I am very pleased with the result, again both aesthetically and functionally. Would most heartily recommend!
