A massive THANKYOU to Alex for his incredible work transforming our living room. Going from a place we had absolutely fallen out of love with and outgrown having a young child and no storage he has given us back a living space we can all enjoy. From family movie nights, a cosy room we are proud of and enough floor space to keep up with our little boys never ending conveyor belt of toys. He gave us expert advice and ideas we hadn’t even thought of. We could not recommend him enough! He is so knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble for him. We just had a media wall put in our living room and we absolutely love it. Alex was professional throughout the whole process, giving us updates and advise along the way. Refink recently planned out and installed my fitted wardrobes/cupboards/drawers. This was a full wall and it took some planning as it had a chimney breast in the middle that I wanted hiding. I recently had a bespoke TV stand and record player unit made by Cookridge Carpentry, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We've been struggling off and on for a few years with coving that runs above some shelving either side of a chimney breast and eventually one section fell off completely. So we decided we had to resolve this once and for all, we'd seen some potential options online and started looking around for a suitable trade person to solve this problem. We eventually found Carl at Cookridge Carpentry and his response was prompt and positive. Following a couple of 'false starts' we finally hit on a solution that we could proceed with when he provided a rough dummy. Carl turned up when he said he would and grafted really hard to make sure we reached the result we were looking for. His work was very clean and tidy with little mess, which was surprising. He also spent plenty of time cleaning up after himself on both days. Both local and quality result... winner! We would have no hesitation in recommending Cookridge Carpentry for appropriate work, very professional throughout.

We had a custom shelving unit and coffee table made, as we loved the pieces we’d seen on instagram and really liked the idea of using reclaimed wood. Great communication the whole way through, and beautiful furniture! So happy with everything, would highly recommend.

Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.

KNS contractors deserve more than 5 stars!!! Kamran has been absolutely amazing and is excellent as what he does! Him and his team have transformed our kitchen in its entirety from scratch within a rapid time. He has been consistent throughout in his communication and plan each step of the way. Not to mention he is very professional and is very knowledgeable in his work and recommendations. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. We will be using him now going forward for other areas in our house we would want work on. I would 100% recommend him and his company for any project/s you may have.

What can I say. The most professional tradesman I have had the pleasure to come across. Nothing is ever too much for Kamran and his team. We had a vision for a new media wall which was bespoke to us. It took a lot of planning for us to get it right so we didn’t just want to leave the job for anybody. We’re so glad we found the services of Kamran, recommended to us by a friend. He is an extreme professional, never cutting corners and always going the extra mile to keep his customers happy. Kamran and his team’s work is to an excellent finish, and they always leave their workspace clean and tidy. We had young kids in the house and they always ensured to keep the area safe. I’ve found in the past, tradesmen, if you’re not happy with some small details they will gaslight you in to thinking it is fine, but Kamran always made sure you were satisfied. There was a slight alteration to our design which we only noticed later, when pointed out Kamran bhai and his team came back and fixed this (taking an addition 3-4 hours of their time). This was even though we said it was ok and we were still happy. How many tradesmen can you honestly say would do this for you?! Highly, highly recommend and you will not be disappointed. On a final note we felt Kamran and his team were so trustworthy that we felt comfortable to leave them in our house to continue their work whilst we left to go out for the day. 5* isn’t enough!!! Keep up the good work!

Highly recommend KNS contractors and Kamran for providing a fast efficient service all around. From the time and communication to the teams work we cannot fault anything. Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.

Daniel fitted 2 sets of alcove wardrobes for us recently. The attention to detail was superb, he clearly takes a lot of pride in his craft. He was clean and tidy, got the job done in 2 days and price was reasonable. Highly recommend. We love our new wardrobes!

Dan did an incredible job installing our understairs shoe storage and bar—10 out of 10! His attention to detail was second to none, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even got on well with our cat, who constantly tried to "help" by getting in the way! After we painted the cupboards, Dan kindly popped back to fit the handles, which was much appreciated. We had five quotes for this job, and Dan delivered twice the work for half the price. Highly recommend!

If you are thinking of any bespoke joinery work Simon is the best. Be prepared to wait as his diary is busy but he’s worth it. What a super tradesperson. Attention to detail, punctual, clean, tidy and a perfectionist. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love our new oak and glass staircase. It’s made the hallway so much lighter and far more in keeping with the rest of the house. I also had another little job to do with an oak desk and this turned out better than I could have expected. From a big uncomfortable desk to a lovely cabinet for printer and office supplies and a new sit to stand desk. Belter of an up cycle and a quality finish.

What a great joiner Simon is! He came to fix my staircase and stopped all the excessive noise by reinforcing it all. Great work, fair price and most important he turned up exactly when he said he would for both quote & the job. I can't recommend him enough!

We are so pleased with our built-in wardrobes designed and built by TDL Woodcraft. We finally have finished decorating and they finish off the whole look of the room. Thomas designed them to replace existing (very dated) fitted wardrobes, taking our needs into account to create a really useable and beautiful storage space for us. We were delighted to have TDL back after Thomas and his team fit new interior doors to our downstairs living area, including putting in and plastering a new wall to partition a previously open-plan area. Thomas and his team are considerate, polite, and tidy workers providing a fantastic finish to their work. We have very happily recommended them to friends and family needing joinery work.

We purchased a bed for our toddler but was concerned that it was a bit too high for him so wanted to shave off a few cm's. We contacted TDL and they provided a great service.
