Steven has made the most wonderful custom fitted wardrobes in a very awkward space. They are absolutely beautiful and look perfect! We've also had a lot of fitted storage made in a man cave which again looks fabulous.Steven is a total magician, perfectionist, very trustworthy and reliable! Contacted Steve prior to having the wardrobe fitted. We discussed designs and details and what would compliment the existing fittings in the bedroom. Steve has an extensive catalogue of his works on his website that you look at to familiarise yourself with what would look special in your own home. After Steve’s recommendations and what we wanted he came out to measure up and again clarify our needs. Once the job commenced Steve took his time and patience in ensuring a quality job was completed keeping us updated with each process along the way. He was professional in every way, committed to getting the days job completed right down to cleaning up at the end of each day. The results at the finish were fantastic and we couldn’t be happier. They look classy, built to last and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again when we need some more bespoke furniture built. The price was very reasonable and for what you’d pay from a high street outfit it was a no brainier to use Steve. His partner Emma kept in touch every step of the way via email to update us with timescales etc and this once again showed their professionalism. I had six Victorian pine internal doors supplied and fitted by Steven just before Christmas and they are superb. They lift the whole house and look stunning. The whole experience was a pleasure, from order to delivery and installation. Steven's attention to detail is second to none and considering he had to make adjustments to the doors to obtain a perfect fit in the freezing cold weather just before Christmas, is testament to his dedication to his craft. After being let down badly by another firm Carl came in a rectified a bad situation with professionalism, speed and high quality. We've been struggling off and on for a few years with coving that runs above some shelving either side of a chimney breast and eventually one section fell off completely. So we decided we had to resolve this once and for all, we'd seen some potential options online and started looking around for a suitable trade person to solve this problem. We eventually found Carl at Cookridge Carpentry and his response was prompt and positive. Following a couple of 'false starts' we finally hit on a solution that we could proceed with when he provided a rough dummy. Carl turned up when he said he would and grafted really hard to make sure we reached the result we were looking for. His work was very clean and tidy with little mess, which was surprising. He also spent plenty of time cleaning up after himself on both days. Both local and quality result... winner! We would have no hesitation in recommending Cookridge Carpentry for appropriate work, very professional throughout.

Used Falcon pine on a number of occasions for fitting traditional panel doors. They have a large stock of different doors to choose from. Tracey & Mike are very passionate when it comes to what they do/a pleasure to deal with. Will use again!
