Steve has done a brilliant job fitting our new back door and making improvements to the glazed frame. He talked through the best approach to take to the job, and was meticulous and skilled in carrying it out. The door fits perfectly. He was a pleasure to deal with and to have working at our house. Also very tidy. I would definitely recommend him for carpentry/joinery work.

We’ve had the pleasure of engaging Steve’s services for a number of years now as we chip away at the renovation of our Victorian house. He’s been brilliant - he built some bookshelves for us which everyone compliments when they visit our house, he also built a pantry under our stairs, and most recently an airing cupboard in an odd space in our top landing. Steve listens to his client but also has lots of great suggestions. His style is sympathetic to the period of the house. He is courteous, shows up on time, gets the job done with minimal fuss or mess, responds to messages promptly. 10/10!

Steve did an excellent job. Great communication, reliable, clearly a neat and tidy worker and quality craftsmanship. What I really appreciated though is that he went above and beyond the job in hand and made efforts to repair the worn brick around the door being prepared and even helped prepare the door for paintwork I am going to do. Really appreciated these extra touches.

I hired the services of Martin for an extensive remodeling of the downstairs of our home. We had a new layout and new kitchen. Torben and his team have replaced 13 windows in our old house over the last 4 or so years. They are beautifully custom made and improved the thermal efficiency of our house massively. Torben made a bespoke hall door to replace one that was falling apart and which was unusable. Torben went to great trouble to save and incorporate the detailing of the original. Delivered as promised, fit to existing frame fine tuned on the day and glazier lined up to complete the project. Now we have a secure door that works.

Torben replaced and renewed the facia boards on the front of our house and built and installed a new back door for us. The craftsmanship was excellent and the service was polite, professional and efficient. He and his mate Gavin also ensured that after the works were done everything was tidied up and clean. Highly recommended.

JP Joinery replaced all our single glazed sash and casement windows over a period of 2 years. We wanted high quality wooden double glazed fittings in keeping with a period property in a Conservation Area. James and the team did an excellent job throughout. All parts of the process went smoothly with good communication. The finished product looks amazing and the improvement with heat loss has been incredible. The heating is at a much lower setting which has really helped with bills. Highly recommend them!
