I have been taking my car here since my father in law took me with my car years ago, have always found them to be friendly, courteous, honest and decent, knowledgeable and down to earth. Never over charge for work done and never charge for or do work that doesn't need doing. If work needs doing, will always call you and advise/ask your permission prior to commencing. Hardworking, family run business with good staff and fair working practices. Always highly recommended

Thought i had a leak from a pipe, turns out it was my engine. He didnt charge me for the replacement pipe. They gave absolutely amazing service all the way through whilst having my car, explaining everything in full. Not his fault my car is badly damaged but i cannot fault the service i got. It was my choice to not spend money on my car and replace it instead. Highly recommend this garage, they are proffessional and kind. I have been to many garages and not felt i have been treated fairly, im really glad i found them, i will be using these guys from now on.

Great local garage with a friendly owner, Gordon Walker, who always provides a great service at honest prices. I have used the garage for 10+ years and have never had reason for complaint. No problem using your own provided parts, though make sure they are the correct ones, but even if not you don't get ripped off. Highly recommended.

Only just started using Walker's Garage on the the recommendation of a neighbour who is very particular about how and who services his vehicles. Gordon is a proper mechanic who knows what he is talking about. He goes over and above and if he sees some small job in addition to what your vehicle is in for he will fix it, often at no additional cost. Always provides good advice and his prices are very competitive. Update - still as good as ever, great advice fabulous service and two value for money.

Extremely thorough, trustworthy and customer focused. My battery needed replacing, so my friend highly recommended ML Autos. I cheekily rung the garage 10mins before closing time to let them know that I was on my way. I turned up later then planned due to traffic and much to my surprise, Josh (mechanic) hung on for me. My initial reaction was 'outstanding' customer service. It gets better!...My car was ready very quickly. He had performed a 12 point Health check with a print out of the result. This was very professionally executed with actual photos of my vehicle, showing areas that needed attention. [see images]. Never have i experienced this type of service from the many garages that've used in the past. Genuinely nice 'life saving' team that actually 'DO' care. Awesome garage great chaps! After many horrendous experiences with mechanics I'm am thrilled to say I've found a good one! Managed to get squeezed in same week for timing belts, pump, full service and a vehicle inspection. A fast & efficient service from Mr Mechanic! I was having an issue with my car getting into gear at home, they were able to arrange for my car to get towed to the garage the same day. Thinking this was going to cost me a lot to get repaired but I was quickly assured and they had managed to fix it saving me a lot of money! Had my car repaired for mot was pleasantly surprised by final bill very reasonable and a professional job. My only gripe would be I wasn't notified when it was ready which would have been nice but I will be returning when needed hopefully not to soon and perhaps a different vehicle. Thanks.

100% having to give these guys full rating. I'm really precious about my car & leaving it for work, i was due a timing belt change and a friend recommended Alfa Tech as he said they specialise more so in Alfa/Abarth. Called up a week ago, friendly staff and they booked me in for the following week and told me how much it would cost. I was so impressed with the price, the lads didn't try rip me off and didn't sound like they were just trying to get as much money for the job. Dropped the car off at 8:30am and it was ready around 2pm. When i picked it up, the lad who had been working on it said he previously owned one of the Abarths, he stamped my service book to show what was changed & mileage. He also showed me the old parts and explained how to tell when it needed replacing (just for my own knowledge which was interesting). They also said that they had done all the checks before telling me it was ready and explained to me just to keep an eye on water levels & such, but should be perfect. The garage was so clean, the lad i dealt with seemed really clued up, really seemed to know what he was on about and i felt I'd really left my car in great hands. I will 100% be using these guys going forward, all staff i spoke to gave me the impression that they were really experienced mechanics. Car felt great to drive home, probably a placebo effect as it was just timing belt change. But felt like the engine was working smoothly and as it should. Thanks guys at Alfa Tech.

Had an MOT booked today for my Ford Fiesta and was very pleased with the service I received. After years of struggling to find a trustworthy garage in Huddersfield, I believe I’ve finally found one. The MOT passed at a great price, and my partner’s car was also booked in without any issues. I’ve since arranged further work with Marsh Garage. Unlike a previous local garage that overcharged me for unnecessary repairs, this garage was honest and transparent. Highly recommended. Very easy to deal with. Well firstly I would like to say anyone near marsh, who needs a car mechanic, you’d be foolish not to use these guys, absolutely the best garage I’ve used in 22 years of driving, they had my BMW in the other week to carry out some work, which had been supposed to be done by another local garage who failed to do the job properly, not only was the job done quickly and properly I had a shock at how fairly they priced the work, you really couldn’t ask for nicer people either, you are made to feel welcome and at ease by everyone at the garage. Honestly please just check these guys out if you are in need of something doing, I guarantee you that wouldn’t be disappointed! Thanks Ben

Amazing value for money! After the main dealer quoted £180 just to diagnose the fault, these guys managed to diagnose it and fix it for less than £100! And managed to squeeze my repair in within 2 days of my first call. Couldn't be happier, they were helpful, friendly and professional. I'll definitely use them again!!

Brilliant service from Mark today. First time customer, recommended by my brother in law having been let down by another mechanic. Issue with seized brake calipers which Mark quickly diagnosed and ordered the likely replacement part. Upon inspection though, the part just needed freeing up not replacing and he agreed to add the inspection charge to the next bill. Thoroughly impressed with Marsh Garage, will certainly be bringing my vehicles back for maintenance and MOT. Thanks Mark, knowing what advice to trust with car related stuff can be tricky.
