Brian is a really competent, honest mechanic, who will charge a very reasonable price for any work he does. I'd recommend him to anyone, particularly younger drivers, who may not know much about car problems. He'll get them sorted without breaking the bank..

Brian and his team are brillant. I needed two tyres urgently replacing. Within 24 hours they were ordered and fitted (despite their day already being completely booked out) they squeezed me in). Prices are very reasonable and you never feel they are carrying out work for the sake of it. Highly recommend.

A friendly, reliable and trustworthy garage. I've been using them for a few years now and they're more than happy to help if you stop by for some advice e.g. do I need new tyres - often the answer is no you've got a bit longer but come back and we'll check again! A lovely community garage which we're lucky to have nearby.

Just wanted to leave a review for Daniel, I had trouble with a friends van for over 2 hours when collecting a tv for my wife. Broke down on dual carriageway and was parked at a unit. Daniel was on his way home from work but stopped to ask if I was looking for someone. I explained my situation and he said he would try to help me - less than an hour later, he had resolved all the issues and waited till I had got the car started. I was having one of the worst days of my life, and he practically saved the day. People like that give me hope for this world! Thank you so much for your help Daniel, you were amazing!

After my son left it to the last minute to tell me his MOT was running out that day, I hunted around (on Easter weekend) to find most places were closed, after a quick call VR Auto Centre were able to fit me in last minute. They were totally transparent and honest, they showed me the areas where the car had issues that would deny a fresh MOT and highlighted some areas to watch going forward. We arranged for the work to be done after the Easter break. The car went in, I received pictures of the parts being replaced and an advisory video showing a wheel bearing that was clearly not in great shape advising to do this at the same time to save labour costs. Got the car back this afternoon and it is driving like a dream. I can’t thank the guys at VR Auto Centre enough for their excellent care and attention to detail, along with their first class service too. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a straight up honest garage to look after you and your car.

Thanks to their honest and skilled work, my car passed its MOT with no hassle, and I left feeling completely reassured. It’s rare to find a garage that combines great service, fair pricing, and genuine care for customers—but VR Auto Centre nailed it. Highly recommended! I have just found my favorite workshop and even though it’s 40 mins drive away from where I live, I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending them to friends and family. Very friendly and helpful man runs the garage, he did work for me on a Saturday with no notice, I called at 830 am! it should of been impossible but he went out of his way to make sure he got my car done by the afternoon. Great service, he kept me informed and updated during the process and without delay the job was done to high standard. I highly recommend this garage, very very happy 👍

Well after going to see Phil about my issue with gear cables not adjusting, he kindly spent half hour with me diagnosing the fault. I went home and done what he suggested to save me buying new cables for nothing and bam, car is fixed and driving perfect. Absolute gent and a great knowledgeable guy. Highly recommend.

Walkers garage is the best garage I've ever been to. You can literally just turn up with a problem with your vehicle and Phil will stop what he's doing to assist you. Friendly, very knowledgeable mechanic, prices are fair too! What more could you ask for, keep up the good work Mr Walker.

Credit where credit is due. A professional body shop team with a very customer oriented approach, I recommend them. My original review of M J Warner Volkswagen's body shop had just 1 star. They hadn't met my high expectations and I said it. Sometimes things go wrong and when happens, really good businesses reach out to unhappy customers. That is what the body shop team did. They contacted me and asked me how they could make things right. In the end, making things right was quite straightforward but I was impressed, first at the lengths they went to, but also at how quickly and how well they did it. Thank you to Joe & the team.

Discovered M J Warner recently and found them to be an excellent VW service dealer. Needed a repair to the ABS on my ageing Passat, fixed in a very short timescale. They also checked the car over and reported some future work needed. A big thank you to the team. Really pleased with their work and the advice given. Will be going back there in the autumn. It was a good experience buying the first car. The car drives really fine and well-maintained. People there were quite helpful and offered to fix even the tiniest scratch mark (barely even visible). I had to take one star out from the review because it has been a month and a week since I bought the car but haven't received the logbook yet.

Purchased a vehicle for my daughter in December and was happy with the purchase which went smoothly. Unfortunately kept getting an intermittent fault for a month or so which made the car unsafe to drive. Took it to the main dealer who said it would cost over £2k to fix as it needed rewiring and new module control. To top it all they also said the warranty wouldn’t cover it. Spoke to these guys and they said they would collect the vehicle, which they did promptly and diagnosed exactly what the issue was and it wasn’t anything what the main dealer recommended. Can’t thank these guys enough and would thoroughly recommend them.

My favourite place to fill up my motorcycle. The staff are always very friendly and there is so many pumps that so far I've never had to cue plus I can use E5 petrol here which is better for my bike. I could only use E10 at my local fuel station in Puckeridge but that's now closed for good so I have to travel a bit further. I don't think you can pay at the pump here but that would be awesome if we could. They don't even mind if you keep your helmet on when paying which helps when your hair is a joke🤣

Never stopped at this one before as we usually use the one up the road but their mobile payment wasn't working so came to this one, short wait on the pump but was soon filled and we were off again. Shop looks fairly large and it also has a subway on site for a mid journey bite if you fancy something a little different to pre packaged food or fast food outlets, signage could be a bit better as you come in and go out the same way so could be a bit tricky if it's busy but there is alot of space to be able to turn around if needed. Will use again when we are in the area
