Coffee - 2.3/ 5 Cake - 4.7/5 Vibe - 4/5 The coffee was okay, I’d come back to see if it were just an ‘off’ shot. The real star of the show was the carrot cake. I felt myself savouring every mouthful and my heart almost skipped a beat when some almost fell off the plate. Staff were lovely.
A friendly and warming atmosphere with lovely staff, delicious food and great tasting coffee. The hummus and falafel wrap was warm and tasted great. Upstairs seating in addition to a small selection near the window. Definitely like to visit again. Thank you ☺️
I want to start by saying a big thank you to Jo Lawrence the manager who took over 4 months ago, and her staff members for making our gathering feel more special. It was raining so we booked a private room upstairs. Waaw! They were really busy, yet thé service was unbelievably amazing, they kept coming to check on us and make sure the table was cleaned regularly, and we had enough, tea, coffee, water, and food. Speaking of food the bread for the sandwiches was delicious, and the fillings were adapted to our cultural requirement. If you’re looking to meet up with friends, or host a family get together, this is the place to go.
Just had impromptu visit to the Barista Lounge with my work colleagues for a birthday drink. The service was impeccable, we were greeted by a lovely warm smile too. There's a lovely atmosphere throughout and upstairs cosy dining. Really lovely feel to the coffee shop. It was inadvertently mentioned that it was my birthday and after we receive our drinks, the owner came back to the table with a beautiful piece of coffee & walnut cake with a candle - on the house ! Such a lovely gesture and made my day. Will definitely be back at the weekend to sample the food menu. Thank you !
This cozy little spot was just the place I needed in my morning. The chai was lovely and they even had gluten free carrot cake! Yum!
