I loved our 4 night stay over Christmas. My wife, friend and dog had a lovely relaxing stay. I loved the old building and all it's quirks. It's a listed building which is why I chose this pub. The rooms were comfortable and cosy and very clean. Very traditional pub accomodation perfectly adequate and functional which again I love. Good car park. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere, the cask beer and the lovely staff especially Julie and Ali. Nice garden, good breakfast and the staff go above and beyond I miss you already.

Excellent service. I was staying next door on an airbnb and asked if they would do take away food as my dog is a bit anxious inside busy environments. The really kindly prepared us a take away meal that was delicious! One of the best home made cheesecakes I ever tasted. My partner absolutely loved the brownie. They were friendly and accommodated our needs. Thank you very much indeed

We planned a surprise birthday for my amazing mother in law, she lives local to the area, but we do not, so we embraced the help and support from Julie (landlady) to help plan and also invite local friends to join us, Julie went above and beyond, supporting our idea, and some how keeping in a secret from my detective mother in law, the service was 5* and the buffet that Julie had free rein on was simply amazing, I don’t think there was any left! And many of us still talk about it now. And a small thank you to the barmaid V, how made the best baby guiness! Sadly I took very few photos, but I will try to source some. Due to family all travelling from different locations we were also able to reserve rooms, and the feed back I have received was they all sleep so comfortably, and the breakfast was just perfect and well needed! Thank you once again Julie and Team. You all did yourself proud.

Dinner at Inn on the Green WAY exceeded expectations. There were multiple (!) vegan options on the menu. I had the Beetroot Wellington for my dinner, and it was the best dish any of our party ordered. The cask ales were a very pleasant accompaniment to our meal. While I can’t speak to the accommodations, as we weren’t staying at the Inn, the restaurant is not to be missed when in Ockley.
