I like cofffee ☕️ in the City Brew on the entrance to the Canada Water, while pastries' quality can be improved. 10th coffee is for free when stamps are collected for each coffee 🎟
Two visits in a single day. Unexpectedly fresh, intense coffee at the underground station. The pastries looked so gorgeous that I picked two of them on my way back. Pastel de nata is one of the best I’ve had in the UK. Generous filling. Smooth, rich, creamy, not too sweet. (I’ve almost lost my appetite after the last few piggy days, but the wondrous custard revived me. 🥹) The almond croissant also appears beautiful in shape. Who can resist these layers? The filling is probably too sweet for me, but simply holding the giant croissant makes me happy. (The two ladies were really helpful and explained to me that the chia bowl was sweetened with syrup when I asked if it contained added sugar.) Will come back for the pastel de nata again and perhaps try other baked goods.
One of the best coffees I’ve had! Strong, rich, and exactly how good coffee should be. Perfectly brewed every time. The almond croissant is the best and biggest I’ve ever seen.😋🥰
