Rui is one of the nicest men you could meet. Full of love, in everything he does, especially his food. A lovely cup of coffee & the cakes are delicious. I love being able to experience European style here in the UK because they generally put so much love into the business & so it feels more like you are supporting a friend or loved one at the same time as having a great snack, coffee & or conversation. If you like to immerse. The best coffee shop in the area without doubt & small business always appreciate your visits. I wish I had some photos to share if his amazing treats. Not just food on the go, Rui has biscuits, olives, breads & other to keep your pantry stocked with the good stuff. There are also tables & chairs to sit at if you have longer to enjoy. I miss him & the cafe very much. I moved away up North, however I will certainly visit when coming south. Enjoy ☕️🍰🍽🫖🥪🍞

Had a lovely lunch outside on the decking area in the sunshine 🌞 very reasonable prices and fleshly made roll great selection to choose from. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Will definitely be back.

The owner himself is half the reason people go there in the first place! He is always cheery, helpful, polite and so people will talk to him and you find he is a very wise, funny, generous person who will always try to make time for his customers. I've only eaten the swwneet treats like the Pastel de nata, and really tasty jam doughnuts and proper tasting glazed doughnuts. I normally have 2 teas, sometimes three, even when on my own because you get caught up naturally in conversations with either Rui, strangers or regular locals. I always leave feeling much happier then I went in and I don't think I can say that about another café I've been too.I've only given 4 stars for the food as I haven't tried the menu, about time I did!

Mr. Rui is a amazing baker and cooker. Very friendly and gentlemen. Delicious home made cakes and bread. I trully recommend the Cinnamon and Honey cake and chorizo bread (my son's favourite bread) 😋😋😋 Amazing and delicious Portuguese wines and spirits! It's a small shop but very well organized and tidy. 🔝🔝🔝

Visited yesterday for breakfast with a friend. Everything was very tasty, great mocha. Would def recommend and will visit again. Very friendly and welcoming, reasonable pricing too

Been here a few times on and off and so now know The Chapel is consistently top quality! Ingredients are always fresh and the foods I've eaten have always been super tasty and arrived really quickly (even when obviously busy!). Service is always rammed with smiles and warm welcomes. Yet to have the focaccia bread, but had lunch envy today when I saw someone else having it....next time!! oh and the coffee, amazing! I only take it black and the taste was awesome. And last of all...the loos are always clean! You can always tell how well run a place is by the things one doesn't readily see 😎😎

I’ve been going to The Chapel for many years now and i can safely say it is the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! 😁Roberto, the owner, is so friendly and always remembers you and your order. The service from other staff have always been wonderful as well. I am yet to try an iced latte that is as amazing as a Chapel iced latte! Having slowly converted all my family to becoming regulars, I couldn’t recommend it enough 🥰

Cute Starbucks. Love the design of the building! It is unique; unlike anything they have in Canada or the US! Workers were very friendly and helpful when I showed them my typical order at a Canadian or US Starbucks. The UK menu is a bit different, but even so, they were able to replicate my normal order. Thank you!

This Starbucks Coffee shop became my go to coffee shop. Nice place to have coffee and relax for a while. Enough seating area, large carpark, wheelchairs accessable shop. Stuffs are always excellent.

Lady who served me was very friendly but making drinks was pretty slow as staff were busy chatting most of the time though they were friendly enough. Place could do with a good clean though not the cleanest

We popped into this coffee shop on the way up to London. The coffee was nice and service good. We did not have food as it was just a quick break.

Had lunch here. Nice little cafe by the station. Good menu selection. I had jacket potatoe and cheese with salad. It was a good portion size and came to £7.20 including a can of coke. Not too bad.
