I come here a lot now, it's changed hands many times and they've finally got it right!! The staff and service are top notch. Went in today and asked for an Irish coffee... Not on the menu but they literally went across to Waitrose to get cream in order to make it for me. Served in a martini glass, bloody delightful! Happy hour 5-7 every night too, and their cocktail list is unique and extensive (and very nice!) - literally a whole page of coffee cocktails, time to try something other than an Espresso Martini!!! Cold Fashioned is my fav. Will be back very soon, as always.

Popped in not been here since it was Corky's in my younger years. I absolutely love the decor and vibe of the place. Modern and has sections to sit and chill or meet up with friends. The Vine is clean, tidy and inviting. I had an avocado smash, with egg and bacon on Sour dough. It was perfect, fresh and tasty. There is a good and very clever choice of hot drinks and cold. Later in the day a good choice of alcoholic beverages and cocktails. Great for a get together in the evening. Very near to Surbiton train station. A must to visit.

Incredibly friendly staff even though we were being a pain rushing for a train and needing a breakfast burrito!! Food was great and coffee also lovely. Good addition to the Surbiton scene.

So excited to visit the Surbitonian Vine having been a big fan of The Surbitonian Grind. The team have given their new space such a great and classy makeover and the cocktails are amazing. Very close to Surbiton station and they are doing late orders too🍸🥂 Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely love Pickled Panty. Love a brunch and this being my local is fantastic. The smashed ago portion is so generous and so nice we can walk here on a Sunday. Staff are also so friendly!!

One of my favorite breakfast places in London. Cosy vibes, great service, delicious food and also has a small section you can buy goods from. We loved everything about the visit and the staff were so polite and lovely. Do try the Christmas cake!

Standby …. This was the best breakfast ever. The venue firstly was very well located, the juice was lovely and fresh. The lady who served me was very kind. Now the food, sausage mmm it was so tasty . Bacon, tomatoes, toast, mushrooms and then the lovely white pudding. Best breakfast I’ve had ever had!! It was great thank you !

Great find for breakfast! It is a small but very nice cafe with a view or the river. Staff were very friendly and the food was really tasty! We had to sit outside because they were fully booked and we got really cold as they do not a have heaters.

A very chilled atmosphere , friendly staff, great drinks and delicious food. You can reserve inside but outside is first come first serve. However, the hostess kindly put us on a waiting list and we were moved outside when a table became available. We will be returning.

Great vibe of a small cosy cafe. We tried vegan food and it was delicious. The tea was great as well. You can enjoy the view of a flowing river if the weather is dry and not too cold. Staff is very friendly. Free blankets.

Popped in and had a wonderful cream tea today. The scones were served nice and warm and the raspberry jam was delicious! Had a very nice pot of loose leaf tea along with it. The staff were lovely and friendly. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

This afternoon tea is one of the very best I have ever enjoyed - anywhere in the world. Truly. And, loving afternoon tea as much as I do, I've sampled many internationally! The service, the ambience as well as the professionalism, warmth and care taken by the lovely team at The French Tarte made this Afternoon Tea great. But what made it really great was the food itself. In short, it's exquisit. It's rare to find food where you taste every element of what's on the plate in front of you. But you do here. In fact, I had afternoon tea at the Dorchester in London last month. And, although good, it was not as good as the savoury and sweet fare served in the Tarte's Afternoon Tea. The French Tarte truly is even better - and for a much better price, too! This is a treat really well worth booking...and then enjoying. :)

Hidden gem in Surbiton! The food is so fresh and full of flavour, good options for vegetarians too with menu variety, lots of fresh tasty desserts for sweet teeth. Staff are very nice, expect to wait in the queue but it’s worth it.

Came for coffees at 10am as they have just started doing mornings/daytime. Had nice music and atmosphere. The Turkish Coffee was amazing, made the way the guy likes it and recommend! Also had chai latte, again delicious with sprinkles of cinnamon. Look forward to coming back and trying the food…new breakfast/brunch hangout in Surbs!

Had a lovely meal here last Sunday. Excellent food and nice ambience. Food came quickly once ordered. Only slight criticism is that the waiting staff keep an eye on their customers tables and slightly speed up the service which otherwise was excellent and friendly.

Incredibly tasty authentic fresh food, the best I’ve ever tried by far! We booked a table for four and were greeted well and seated by staff. We ordered a cold and hot meze plate which was absolutely outstanding in taste, authenticity and freshness and beautifully presented. For main course I had Ali nazik which is a traditional Turkish dish and enjoyed this thoroughly, in fact it was the best I’ve tried having been to many Turkish restaurants in the past. Decor and atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, staff were attentive and professional. Renas also serves breakfast which I cannot wait to try! Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone around me. Outstanding food by far!

As African craving for a Turkish cuisine, Renas indeed treated me to a nice meal and infact beat my imagination with their customer service and friendly staff. Also a welcoming atmosphere which is next to home. I'll sure visit again and again!

Had a lovely lunch in ICON today. Quite specious to be comfortable to eat and the staffs were friendly. The Harvest salad had lots of different ingredients and they were all harmonised. My friend had a French toast - it was good enough to say nice French toasts. The prices were reasonable. Happy to visit there again.

I've been twice now and both times I've been really impressed by how delicious the food is, I especially recommend the BLT and the chicken wrap they're absolutely delicious. The shaken brown sugar espresso is also so good I had 2. Staff are very friendly all in all a great spot.

We were drawn to ICON because of the popping interior design and brunch menu. It's as good as it looks! We had the breakfast burrito and avocado on toast and they gave us a great start into the weekend. The owner is lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Looking for a breakfast place in surbiton and ended here. Decent selection of food, vegetarian option was present. Drink selection was good too, only tried the hot chocolate here but honestly was very nice, dark hot chocolate and white hot chocolate, wasn’t too hot though but not too mad about that. Food was quite good, I had the Veggie Brekkie was very filling and well priced. The French toast too was delicious, great mixture. Atmosphere was okay, the pink and interior isn’t my cup of tea but not to say it was ugly, I can see people enjoying the fun, colourful interior. Seating was comfortable too but just slightly cramped and was too close to other tables personally. Service was decent, nothing much more to say about it, wasn’t all the way up there so only 4 stars. Would come back though

We had an incredible dining experience here! The steak was of exceptional quality, honestly better than some of the top restaurants in London. Our server Sophie C was fantastic—knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, which made our meal even more enjoyable. We’re already planning to come back for our Valentine’s dinner. Highly recommend!

I visited yesterday with my best friends for a long overdue catch up and we had a great time. We ordered Sangria as we were pretending we were abroad 😎. The food was great, the service was great and sitting by the river is just so good for your soul. Thank you for having us 🩷

Lovely atmosphere, great staff and great location on the river! We went for drinks and dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. The bar staff were excellent. Polite, helpful and friendly. There are lots of little nooks and crannies to sit, ideal if you want an intimate evening and there's also a few seats in the main bar area. Upstairs in the restaurant was equally pleasant. Food was nice, good prices and the service was excellent! Special thanks to our waitress Liz who made our evening special. I'm a firm believer in that staff can make or break an evening, Liz made our evening! Thank you! Fun, friendly and professional! Highly recommend Harts Boatyard and will be going back there soon with friends.

I love this place they have a wide assortment of food that comes in large portions at a very good price. The staff are very friendly and there is a lovely chilled atmosphere this is a little gem of a cafe if you are in the area pop in and give it a try.

I’ve been going to the Press Room for 10 years, their coffee is the best around and their staff are truly sweet. The original owner David created a real sense of community among their staff and customers in Surbiton. His kindness always extended to everyone, providing suspended coffees to those who needed them. Although the ownership has now changed, the staff maintain excellent standards and service.

I visited The Press Room on Sunday just gone. What a buzzy little place it is. Being a decaf drinker, I can confirm they have great decaf coffee beans. WIN! Dine in, was a decaf oat milk latte (Oatly - Barista edition) & it was so good I decided to get a take out, decaf oat milk mocha. To get asked at the till...“Do you want that to be white, milk or dark chocolate?“. I loved that bit. An extra twist to their service. I went for dark and my goodness, was it yummmyyy! They even showcase local artists work, such as @angus_creative (IG account) as shown in photo. I do love a local cafe which supports local artists. 👌🏼 Brownie point there. What's in the paper bag? You may ask...it was a vegan brownie protein ball from @purposefoods_official (IG account). 10/10. I've given 4* because I didn't have a sandwich etc, so I can't give a review on the food. Plus, when I went to order a half price coffee for take out, with the jubilee deal, it was only for hot coffee, no iced coffee / matcha / chai. But saying that, I was very happy with my Mocha in the end. 😊
