Came here today with my girlfriend. She ordered the fruit. I ordered a bacon, sausage, hashbrown and mushroom bagguete and was happy with the quality and portion size very filling

It's a very nice place, the food is great, the staff is very sincere and friendly, I recommend you to go.

Great breakfast, huge portions and really good value. Quick, friendly service and really extensive menu. Will be back!

A fantastic little cafe with delicious cakes and coffee. This is our third time visiting this gem in its lovely setting in the corner of the park. It's always a pleasure to stop here for some refreshments and to interact with the friendly people who run it.

Absolutely loving it here( still here)! First visit, dropped in for a lazy Saturday morning breki and found some simple yet delish panini with great cup of coffee and freshly baked croissants( loved it!!!)- all of this with the views of Alexandra Park. The cakes look very attractive too. Such a relaxing feeling to hang around Park View Cafe, definitely coming back!!

Due to high rating we decided to stop and see what is this about while passing through the area, we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, service was great, we had a some eats that were all homemade and delicious and crepes being on demand. Quaint sitting area outside and indoor for when weather is not so great. A gem of a place for locals…

Lovely little cafe, today they were serving delicious Raclette prepared before our eyes. Very friendly service, also a good coffee too! I didn't sample the pastries but they looked amazing!

I like small businesses and use them a lot. I met Steve ( actual name is Sean but everyone e calls him Steve) the owner and his wife Chi (Clare) about 11 years ago. Regularly stop for a breakfast and cup of tea. I like tge little homely touches. I have brought in customers many times for them but not left a review as yet. I always go for the British menu but Sean does cook Chinese to. You will understand better when you get there. EASY, FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. If coming by car parking in Coulsdon a huge problem now as they built on the biggest one just around thr corner from DD cafe.

I found this lil place online and went to check when I was nearby, I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity, kindness and good food!

Hi there, I'm posting today to recommend DD's Cafe based on the Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon. I am eating here 4 or 5 days a week (lunchtimes), the food is very tasty, and the Cottage Pie is to die for, and very reasonably priced. The young couple who run the establishment, are personable, run a clean, friendly cafe....a little gem.

First class run by volunteers food very good food at reasonable prices.

Great food all home-made.

Had beans on toast, and pot of tea 😋 for only £3.00, better than some of the cafe's in town, friendly staff, will definitely be going back !!!

Visited for the first time for a private event (baby shower) the afternoon tea was yummy, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend

Afternoon tea was a delight and is now our go-to place whilst the grandparents watch the kids. We booked in for afternoon tea and was greeted with a really warm welcome and a singing chef, which also makes you feel very comfortable. Tea was superb and presented in a lovely China set. Sandwich selection was delicious. The cakes, well, just chefs kiss! Beautiful. Price point we were very impressed and left there with a little takeaway box. We are looking forward to returning to our next visit already.

Three of us had afternoon tea at Greenwood at the end of November, and we were very impressed. (We have been for many afternoon teas in many places over the years). To start, the sandwiches were perfect; fresh and moist bread -they'd been made for our arrival- and excellent fillings. The little bit of homemade coleslaw in the cheese added an extra flavour dimension, and the ham was particularly tasty. The scones were the chef/owner's seasonal novelty with a little mincemeat in rather than sultanas -delicious, and the two pieces of cake per diner were from the selection baked in the shop. I like real cake; too many afternoon teas rely on macarons and weird pots of chocolatey goo that you eat with a teaspoon. Here the banana cake was delicious! The only slight reservation was that all the food needs plenty of tea to wash it down, and the young man kept bringing only half a pot at a time (but he was new). Finally, the retro crockery was very pretty, and we had a nice chat with the owner. Overall, a delightful and good value experience; special!

My son and I were looking for a new breakfast place in the area and came upon this little gem. Looks family run and could not fault our experience.

Food and service was lovely and the atmosphere was also great, just the time of day meant it wasn’t as good as I have seen before.

Been in here twice now in a week,really nice cafe with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit as an alternative to the usuals in the high street. And of course there's the kids playground.

Tony is a top gaffer. Highly reccomend for a quality coffee or a quick bite.

Our favourite place. Had lunch today and as per food was excellent, staff as always were above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. Service is always great too. It was really busy at midday but food was with us in about 5 minutes. The kitchen staff do an amazing job too. Alway fresh very well presented, hot and tasty. Can never resist the cakes either.

It's wonderful here. I called in for breakfast and got a lovely welcome at the door from a lady called Carol. I had a bacon roll (delicious) and the coffee was just divine. All of the prices on the menu seemed extremely reasonable including the wine. The shop had a good selection of high quality gifts again reasonably priced. When I went to the till I met Carol again and she was just so friendly. Excellent car park and the toilets were super clean and wonderfully decorated.

First time here. Staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Totally love it. Will come back to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Highly recommend it.

The decoration inside is stunning and very calming, always a good buzz of chatter from people so a really nice overall experience. Clean and tidy at all times we have been. Service is excellent and one of the main attraction points of the cafe for us. Food & Drink: 4/5 Excellent quality food. The menu as changed quite a few times and has been reduced over the time we have been going and they don't always serve certain foods. Understandable due to increased difficulty with the number of customers but would be good to be able to have a bit more selection sometimes as the quality of what is served has always been excellent so we would be keen to have more of this available! Location & Travel: 4/5 Clearly signposted, lots of parking and easy to get to on foot if you live locally or by car if not. Set back from the main road so no disturbance or noise at all and very asthically pleasing views from inside. Epsom Downs Station is around 12 minute walk away. Cost: £ - ££££ £££ - Not the cheapest eatery around but you do get the overall experience you are paying for with their standard of food, service and venue itself. Definitely a quality for price paid cafe and well worth the money spent.

This cafe goes from strength to strength. It used to be a hidden gem, a little bit too much PVC for my liking, but with outdoor seating and great food and coffee. Now it's had a refurb, and it's actually really nice. Still has extras like ice cream, milkshakes, and lots of dog products, but also the seating area is bigger and smarter. It's one of my favourite places to go for a bit of a 'green break'.

Good cafe in oaks park run by good people who do good food and coffee. We have our English breakfast here before walking our dog in the big open green space. There is plenty of seating space indoors and outside but it can get busy on weekends and holidays. I think the price is on the higher side but it's location and overall experience once you are here is probably worth it.

Perfect for a coffee on the go for a long day of work ahead or whenever decent place avoid the costa shop come here it’s perfect will do you nice.
