A really lovely traditional pub, the food was excellent as was the service. Super friendly landlord, this is now our go to pub for lunch and drinks, highly recommended.
Big portion sizes for decent prices, local and good food. No long wait times. It’s dog friendly and has very friendly staff - guaranteed a pleasant experience! Would come again.
We'd just like to say a very big thank you for the milk. We were holding a party at the local village hall and the landlord and landlady very kindly let us have some milk for our guests teas and coffees as we'd forgotten to bring some. So good to meet lovely kind people. Thanks very much.
A wonderful historic pub, with a friendly, interesting landlord who has much knowledge of the history of the pub and the surrounding area. The food was amazing, freshly prepared and cooked and it tasted as good as it looked. It was excellent value and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely return.
Sunday lunch today, this place is a new find, and serves wonderful homemade food, yep, not home made heated in the microwave, but proper home made food! I had a wonderful soup to start, and the veg curry, and the rest of the table went for the Sunday roast beef, I should have, but was not disappointed by the curry either. We enjoyed a warm welcome, and the reserved table was ready for us. This is a total jewel in the beautiful Kent countryside, in a nice old sleep village... Give it a try!!
