Lovely looking pub with plenty of parking. The menu wasn't too big but the food was fantastic. Four of us went, and we all had something different. And the food was fantastic. Staff we extremely attentive, which made it a truly nice experience. Will definitely be going back there.
Having arrived towards the end of food service in the evening we were still given stellar treatment from arrival to departure. The team were welcoming, friendly and informative. We both had the beef burger and chips and honestly could not fault anything! The pie fillings were tempting too. Both of our desserts were excellent and I cannot thank the team enough for recommending the chocolate orange mousse. Excellent service. Will be coming back again soon!
Good space, pleasing ambience, and pleasant staff. The main course food was very tasty whereas the desserts were 'OK'. Service was a bit slow for a not too busy day, but we were in no rush, so it wasn't a big deal. We'll go again, though.
Went here for our work Christmas meal, fantastic atmosphere, food was top notch and the turkey was cooked to perfection, felt it was extremely good value for money too.
