Top Cafes in Monk sherborne, Hampshire

Lovely and useful little shop. Friendly people, interesting goodies, nice produce. You can all sorts of treasures here, such as organic saurkraut hidden round a corner, or free range goose fat at a great price. Delicious local eggs, too. The location is beautiful, and parking is easy.

This review is specifically for cyclists: This shop is the only place in 100km radius to refuel (coffe) use facilities with comfort of having your bike nearby safe. Shop has good selection of healthy food. To the owner: it would be great to have a simple triangle bike stand for cyclist. Coffe was great but could be stronger next time. Love the cat in the window looking curiously on me, made my day.

I was on holiday and we were doing a circular walk around Sherbourne Estate. The route was well marked, muddy and wet in places. Our route took us past the local village shop which doubles as a cafe. We were absolutely delighted to find this open and serving tea and coffee in December. It was dry and mild enough to sit outdoors. The shop was busy as others were enjoying the cafe also. I am sure this place will be a life line to locals as they seemed well stocked for most household necessities. It was certainly a welcome visit for us half way round our walk.

Stopped off at this village shop during a cycle ride. A little gem of a place, a friendly welcome, great coffee and selection of cakes. Can highly recommend the Sherborne pudding.

Will definitely be coming back here! The owners were so warm & friendly, they were very patient with our large group despite the time it took us to order. I was really impressed with their selection of products given the size of the shop - they even made me an iced latte, which can be hard to find! The outdoor picnic area was so charming. Worth a stop for sure!
