Staff were very helpful. Rooms are well equipped, but our travelling companion's struggled to get into the bath to take a shower. Breakfast was very good as was the meal we had at the beefeater. There was plenty of parking and an idea location for the event we were attending. Could have done with ac in the room which was the only down side for us.

'Oh, great spirits of the etheric realms! What manner of strange abode have I found myself in? The walls do hum with a mysterious magic—something they call "Wi-Fi," though it be not of the ancient runes I know. The bed, soft as the belly of a well-fed toad, did cradle me in a most unnatural comfort. Aye, not a stone slab nor straw mat in sight! I did rest well, though it felt as if I lay upon a cloud summoned by Merlin himself.

The chamberpot? Replaced by a most curious contraption that does whoosh and whirl with water at the pull of a lever—no need for the spade here. And the lighting! Nay, no torches nor flickering flames, but glowing orbs encased in glass. Truly, this place is bewitched.

Yet, the food... oh, the food! Strange concoctions, though palatable to my medieval tongue. They call it a "buffet," where one may gather as much as one desires. Such luxury I have never known, though I did long for a simple roasted hare.

The servants, dressed in most peculiar garb, are swift and silent, like the wind. They are ever at your beck and call, though I miss the chatter of the tavern wenches.

In all, this "hotel," as they name it, be a most enchanted place—though I know not if I trust all this modern sorcery. Still, I must confess, it be quite to my liking. Now, where be my familiar, Touchwood?'

Excellent staff, genuinely caring, lovely building and location. Good restaurant and bar. Clean, comfortable room and bed. I’ve been here for a very long stay and have been made to feel like one of the family!
