I woke up in bourgeois west London and I really wanted something nice and easy to eat. Popin coffee and brunch was highly suggested and it seemed right up my street. This is a cute establishment, as soon as you walk in you feel like gobbling up some eggs. I love art and there is some artwork on the wall which gives this place character. We ordered smashed avocado with smoked salmon and creamed spinach poached eggs, streaky bacon and sauteed mushrooms. The brunch was amazing, I really enjoyed the meal. I was told that I should order the classic banana bread, so I did.... And the dark chocolate and walnuts banana bread with a glass of homemade orange juice. Both cakes were sublime, juicy, packed full of flavour. My compliments to the chef. The staff are lovely as well, the service is great, they have a smile on their face and we didn't have to wait long for our order. If you're in the west Kensington area and you want to eat some eggs. Come here, you will not be disappointed 😊

Absolutely loved this spot! So many gluten free and vegan options that are all labeled well. They had delicious baked goods. I loved my almond milk latte with sugar free vanilla! Highly recommend.

We went on a Saturday afternoon for a late brunch. We got a table and managed to get food fairly quickly. They ran out of hash browns and shakshuka. But we still got what we wanted. Porridge of the day, dairy free banana bread and eggs with hummus. Cozy place. Friendly staff. Not sure if they allow big parties over 4 people as the place is quite small.

I really love this cafe. My husband and I always go here before church in most sundays. It's like our mini sunday date. We love their paninis and drinks. They are very accommodating in taking our request for ice in our drinks. Hope they can expand their menu.

Delicious Chai and super friendly service! Great spot to do a bit of work in a relaxed cozy atmosphere, 100% recommend :) Pastries looked fab too but didn't try one (will have to come back to!)

Had takeaway for breakfast. Their portions were just nice for me, not too much. i really love their eggs on toast, it was tasty! came with choice of poached, fried or scrambled eggs - i went with the popular choice of scrambled, never regretted it. blueberries pancakes were served in 3 pieces, with bananas and blueberries. I was staying just 5mins walk away so food was still warm when i got back. the shop could be easier missed along the street, inside is well spaced and cosy with warm lights.

Really nice little cafe. Located in a residential area although on the main road. The place is small. They have just a few tables. The menu offers bagels, avocados and eggs on toast, pancakes and french toasts. A bit of the classic brunch options. Really lovely atmosphere and good service. They made me a New York bagel with avocado instead of cheese. At no extra cost. I’ll come back for sure.

The pasta here is such amazing value for the price! The staff are really friendly and will help you choose the best fresh pasta depending on the sauce you want. Alessia was especially friendly!

Absolutely ADORE this place, best pasta I’ve ever had and the value for money is UNREAL!!! Always go for the truffle carbonara it’s so yummy. I’ve brought multiple friends here who love it as well. Such lovely friendly service whenever I go, and I always get so excited to go back, such a hidden gem and holds a special place in my heart! What a nice place, first place I sit to restore myself in London and the atmosphere is very amicable and a great variety of handmade pastas, pizzas and a tasty selection of desserts, highly recommended, very satisfied! Alessandro is a fine person, I just heard him speak like 4 different languages to clients, what a charming character and a professional!

Lovely place. Not many seats especially if a customer hogs 2 seats by sitting rather anti-socially at the seats facing the window 😅 Loved the banana cake with chocolate frosting. At first bite it was a tad dry however on the second bite it became delicious. The latte was so delicious and the milk froth was perfect. Coffee was extracted amazingly and no bitterness or sourness was detected at all. The lady who was manning the cafe (the only staff) was very warm and friendly, smiling. Will be back, God-Willing!

I stopped by today to get an iced coffee with oat milk, and I was genuinely impressed. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience so much better. The coffee itself was absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. I’ll absolutely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others. As someone who is neurodivergent and sometimes struggles with social interactions, I really appreciated how comfortable the staff made me feel when I was ordering. I didn’t feel awkward at all, and that made such a difference. Thank you for such a positive experience! ☺️

My favourite local coffee shop. I wonder how to I rate 6 stars for the service? The baristas are lovely, remember your usual order, always smile and simply make your day better. Good coffee and very yummy pastries, nice a cosy place to sit as well, but tiny and gets packed often.

I opted for a traditional English breakfast, and it was hearty and satisfying. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage and bacon were flavorful, and the toast was fresh and crispy. I also couldn’t resist trying a slice of homemade cake, which was simply divine—moist and rich with flavor. The cafe’s selection of teas was impressive, and I enjoyed a perfectly brewed Earl Grey that complemented my meal beautifully. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed while also providing helpful recommendations. Overall, this English cafe is a hidden gem, perfect for a cozy meal or a relaxing afternoon tea. I can’t wait to return to explore more of their menu!

I came here on my birthday for breakfast and it was a lovely experience. It’s very cozy and welcoming vibes from the staff. I ordered scrambled egg with smoked salmon on avocado toast. The eggs were nicely cooked. This definitely a good place to relax and have breakfast.

Had a decent breakfast at Cafe Phillies. It’s a cute little place in Kensington with plenty of options for lunch. I tried both the Croque Monsieur and omelette with feta and tomato and both were average tasting as I didn’t feel they were unique. The pancakes were quite good though and the berries were fresh and flavorful. However, I am not rushing to go back

The atmosphere, food and drinks are exceptionally good! I always order avocado on toast with smoked salmon here. It’s really delicious! I also like to see people at the cafe chill out and enjoy their time with their nice meals and drinks. I’ll highly recommend this place if you look for a lovely homey cafe in London :) The location is also great. (Easy to find and a short walk from High Street Kensington station)

Hidden gem in Kensington. Very positive atmosfer. Some people sit and chat. Some families have huge breakfast. Also animal friendly some people come in with dogs take coffe and go for a walk in the park. Waiters give them treats. They say that we dont know our quests name but we know the dogs name ;)) And they dont call them customers.. All we eat and drink was great. Esipacialy cilbir which is a local Turkish egg with garlic yogurt was perfectly done. Crambled eggs with feta cheese also very delisious. Waitor who served us was very kind and very fast.. We enjoyed alot. We weren t like customer we were like a guest.

Love this place! Been there a couple of times and it’s one of my fav breakfast spots now. Staff are very friendly, service is fast, food is great, chicken wrap — a MUST! Coffee and juices are on top too, highly recommend. nearly forgot croissants — they are delicious

Another little gem added to our list of favourites! We had lunch here and the Ruben bagel was totally delicious. The Americanos were top quality as well. We have passed here regularly in the past but will be stopping here regularly in the future. 2 Americanos, a Ruben bagel and tuna salad on ciabatta came to £18.20. Friendly staff and good service!

Stopped over here briefly to get a quick drink and rest. Very nice atmosphere, staff were lovely and the drinks we had were incredible! All reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out if you're passing by. Wish we had room for food, as it all looked amazing!

was there a couple weeks ago, it was so nice! friendly, welcoming staff and owner, even gave us directions and tips on where to go and what to see! definitely recommend and will gladly return. the homemade milkshakes were delicious! prices were good.

A fantastic little cafe with the utmost care taken for my partners allergy, the chef came out himself WITH the food he was about to prep and checked to make sure everything was okay even staying he had washed the bowl through 3 times. Nowhere I repeat NOWHERE has ever taken this much care and we really appreciate it. We ordered coffee, tea, eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs on toast and everything was delicious with good portion sizes and adequate cost. An amazing little establishment and highly recommended for people to stop off at for a bite to eat or small meal!

Came here as the place we were staying at didn’t offer any breakfast my bfs friend wanted to try an English breakfast. I got the Healthy option which tasted very nice and fresh. Do wish it was a little bit bigger as the Full Monty wasn’t much more and looked a lot bigger
