Love the Old Bank, the coffee & toasties are scrumptious and recently they’ve been doing some amazing latte art (see photo). They have a playroom at the back which is a huge bonus for those of us with little ones!

Old Bank Coffee House is a nice coffee shop with relaxed and family friendly vibes. The two ladies working there are delightful, diligent and hospitable. Matcha latte was divine. Almond croissant was also delicious. Without doubt I will keep coming back. If anyone is reading this, I highly recommend you go visit Old Bank Coffee House for a drink as well.

I regularly spend mornings at Old Bank Coffeehouse with my partner, and it is a fantastic experience every time. The coffee is positively delightful, and staff have been consistently friendly, with excellent service. Truly cannot recommend a coffee house with a nicer atmosphere since we moved to London. Music has always been excellent as well - Creedence Clearwater Revival and Chuck Berry are regular favourites. However, relaxed jazz tracks also feature which further helps to cultivate a relaxed atmosphere. Guest blends are always a treat, I particularly enjoyed their Christmas Blend - which had some very nice notes of cinnamon and clove. My usual order is two long blacks, which comes to around £6. £3 for a single long black. Very good price for artisan coffee, and I've not found anywhere locally that matches it in terms of quality. The hot chocolate is especially good as well!

Just from outside it looked posh and elegant. They have their own blend of coffee...the nutty taste beans, were nice. And they use pure raw milk! The ambiance of the place is simplistic yet felt cosy. Customer service spot on, with great communication. Would recommend if your nearby or passing by. You will not be disappointed.

I love my coffee and love my cappuccino served in the perfect size of cup, unlike most cafes that serve coffee in an American oversized cup. The great tasting coffee served was exactly in the correct size, couldn't have asked for more! Love the cozy atmosphere and great friendly service. A must stop if you happen to pass by on Whetstone Hight Street.

Our happy place 🥹 In a 4-days stay we ate our breakfast there 4 times! All so delicious and freshly made! Their white americano was one of the best I had in my life! The place is so tastefully decorated and I loved that it was small and cosy and not chaotic. But above all, its people are the heart of the place! Always with a big smile, very attentive and willing to serve you the best possible way 🌷 A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you! You made our time there unforgettable 🥰 Do not miss to visit this place! Super highly recommended 💯

We had brunch at this local restaurant on the scorching 9th of September of UK! It was quite an experience. The portions were humongous, ensuring I left with a full and satisfied stomach. The service was decent, and the ambiance created a nice vibe throughout the meal. It's definitely worth a visit for a hearty brunch! I will update this review once I try other mouth watering items on the menu.

It’s a good place, particularly when you take low prices into account. Very small cafe with simple design. The food is decent, good size portions and they make fresh juices (too much water added in for my taste, but it wasn’t too bad). I believe we were unfortunate as our two omelettes took nearly 40 minutes to make, turning our breakfast into brunch, and they got some ingredients wrong - but we were hungry. It is always busy due to size, low prices and popularity in the area. However, I think it’s also due to lack of breakfast places that so many people come here. We will probably come again given lack of choices around.

There are seats inside! I've been past this cafe many times and didn't realise there was seating inside. I assumed it was takeaway only. I went today and I'm pleased I did. Tasty cafe food - and meaty sausages, which you don't usually get in a cafe. Lovely staff. I'll be back to try their pie and mash.

Barnet Cafe is a true hidden gem! This lovely, family-run cafe has won my heart over with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious offerings. I first discovered this charming spot in 2020, and it has since become my regular haunt, a testament to its consistent excellence. One of the standout features of Barnet Cafe is the generosity they bring to every plate. The portions are not only generous but also incredibly affordable, making it an ideal choice for both budget-conscious diners and those seeking hearty, satisfying meals. My personal favourite is their mouthwatering steak, a dish that I find myself coming back for time and time again. The quality and flavour are consistently top-notch, and they're cooked to perfection every single time. The fact that they have a kids' menu that's equally impressive is a huge bonus for families. It's wonderful to see a place that caters to all ages. Beyond the fantastic food, the staff at Barnet Cafe truly make you feel like part of the family. Their warm hospitality and attentive service make every visit a memorable one. The cosy ambience adds to the overall experience, making it a perfect setting for any occasion. Barnet Cafe is more than just a cafe; it's a home away from home. If you're in search of a place where you can enjoy a delectable meal, bond with your loved ones, and not break the bank, look no further. It's no wonder it has become my regular spot, and I have a feeling it will continue to be for years to come. PS... I can't believe I never reviewed this amazing cafe all these years, and the photos I'm using are from my first few visits since I just focus more on enjoying my meals these days. Yeah, I'm adventurous with foods, but the steak is just muaaaah!!!

Wonderful coffee. Was staying in the area for the week so didn't have our trusty coffee machine with us so was thrilled to find this lovely coffee shop on route to central London. I have traveled a lot and had a lot of pastries from many many different coffee shops. This is up there with the best. Truly a gem. A must visit and became our regular for our stay while we were in London. Both me and my wife loved it.
