I'm so glad I found Ohana Hair and Beauty! I needed to find a new hairdresser after about 7 or 8 years, and saw them recommended on a page on Facebook. As soon as I got there for my consultation Kara asked me exactly what it was I wanted, as well as giving me some ideas and advice about my hair. The salon itself is lovely and both Kara and Lucy are so welcoming! I absolutely love my new hair and would recommend Ohana to everyone - thanks girls!

I had a bouncy blow dry with Chapette’s new apprentice ‘Scarlett’ last week and was super impressed. She was friendly, confident and amazing, working her magic on my unruly hair!! Great addition to the team, I think her blow dry bar will be big competition in town!! Go Scarlett!

Charlee has been fantastic.I have had botox and fillers,and really happy with the results,especially the lips.I was nervous about having my lips filled from a previous establishment,as it was so painful,but she made sure I was completely numbed,and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Another great visit to Camomile Rooms. I visited yesterday for an oxygen facial with Maxine. My skin was very dehydrated, but now it feels so soft and rehydrated. I am amazed at how my deep frown lines can hardly be seen after one treatment, and the fine lines I can not see at all. I will definitely be booking in for another treatment. It was my first ever professional waxing appointment, I’ve always been too nervous…but as I’m getting married I thought I better face my fear!!! Olivia was fantastic, I felt really comfortable which I was not expecting!! Olivia made me feel at ease, was super quick and very sweet. I recently had my first-ever massage with Natalie, and it was a fantastic experience! I had a back, neck, and head massage and wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but everything exceeded my expectations. The space was beautiful—calm, relaxing, and instantly put me at ease. Natalie was absolutely brilliant—professional, attentive, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the session. It was such a soothing and enjoyable experience, and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I had a French manicure done by the lovely Natalie to go to Jamaica. I have to say they are amazing, after 2 weeks of being in & put if the sea & the pool they still look as good as the day they were done. Not forgetting the lovely natter with Natalie while my nails were being done 😊Will definitely be back

Nat is fabulous. I leave every time relaxed and feeling really good. She's not only great at getting rid of muscle tension but also great listening to those little lifes niggles. It's an hour or so of bliss in a very busy week. Highly recommend.

I had a Dermaplane facial with Rowan Retreat and I couldn't be more happy with my results. My therapist (Natalie) was friendly and made me feel at ease straight away as I have had very few treatments in the past. The room was clean and comfortable and it had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The actual treatment was amazing! I felt so relaxed and Natalie explained what she was doing and why at all times. The treatment was not rushed and I felt as though Natalie was totally dedicated to making my treatment special. When my treatment was completed, my skin felt so soft and it actually felt as though I had a new face!! Natalie explained the after care and was completely professional at all times. I would recommend Rowan Retreat to anyone that would like any sort of beauty treatment and I will certainly be going back.

I had a lip blush treatment with Lenka. She explained the process to me clearly and was really friendly and re-assuring as I was slightly nervous. We picked the colour together and there were regular breaks throughout the treatment. I felt very calm and relaxed throughout the process and I’m thrilled with the results! I’m really looking forward to seeing my lips once they’ve fully healed in a few weeks! I’ve received an aftercare package with clear instructions and feel well looked after by Lenka. Would highly recommend Lenka’s Beauty Room!

Had high and lowlights with Danielle. She was fantastic. Listened to what I was trying to achieve and the results are just what I wanted. There was no pain which sadly I had become accustomed to with my old hairdresser. It was a lovely relaxing experience with a very talented hairdresser. I will be back. Thank you 😊

I took my mum here for a birthday treat, we both had facials in the dual treatment room, the hydration sensation facial was so good the ice globe massage was my favourite part so cooling and relaxing! Stacey and Madi were both lovely, they had good product knowledge and made us both feel at ease. They even managed to fit my mum in for a wash and blow dry after so she left feeling very refreshed. Thank you will be visiting again!!

I have visited twice in the last week and had 4 treatments. The first visit was for an exfoliating treatment followed by a full body massage with Karita. I had managed to book my treatments for the hottest day of the year but the room was a comfortable temperature and Karita made me feel at ease throughout. The products used felt very luxurious and it felt like a real treat. I went again for a facial followed by lash lift & tint with Madison. The facial was very relaxing and again such a treat! The eyelash perm & tint was the most comfortable time I've ever had this treatment. Although perming solution is never a pleasant smell my eyes weren't irritated and I didn't have any discomfort as I've had at other salons. I'm so pleased with my lashes! I was given a few samples of the products used in the facial to take home. They also offer a loyalty stamp card and when you have collected 10 stamps you receive 10% off.

Had my hair dyed by the loviest lady Elise today and I am SO impressed with the transformation of my hair!! We went from a faded out red box dye colour to a beautiful 2 tone dye with dark brown and rose gold halo. I appreciated how everything was spoken into steps, reassurance, and honesty through out the whole process of the colouring. I’m still in complete awe of the transformation of my hair, it looks great! & of course brilliant chat and chill vibes through out. Anything is possible with Elise when it comes to colouring! 10/10 ✨

Had a jellyfish cut done by Ben and I’m incredibly happy with the results! The length and style is exactly what I wanted and I really felt listened to about my wants from the appointment. Highly recommend him as he was very kind and accommodating and gave me a great cut :)

I booked a last minute appointment with Elise for my 10 year old daughter yesterday and she had the most wonderful experience. It was her first time visiting a salon and she was thoroughly pampered and absolutely thrilled with her haircut. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend Elise enough.

I don’t think I have ever had a hairdresser hit my needs 100% until now!! Thank you so much Megan, not only did you listen you looked after me and my hair throughout, I loved how we both got in the zone me working on my laptop and cracked on with my hair. Megan was approachable and asked all the right questions on styles and practicality as well as talking me through the after care of the colour! I would highly recommend Megan especially if you are looking to be comfortable and want your colour done.

Booked a last minute deal for a wash, cut and style with Thea. Thea did a pre-cut consultation to ensure she knew exactly how I wanted my hair to look. The cut was perfect and looked amazing one my hair was styled. The products used were fabulous. My hair felt and smelled incredible, so much so that it still smelled wonderful 2 days later. I called the salon and asked to purchase the shampoo, conditioner and oil and Thea popped a complimentary mousse product in the bag for me. Honestly, this is the best salon in Canterbury. I return time and time again and have never been disappointed.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a wax after meeting Sabi! I was looking for somewhere to go to have a Hollywood wax for the first time, after reading her Google reviews I was sold. Sabi really does look after you, she is friendly and kind and she does all she can to make you feel comfortable during your treatment. Sabi makes what could be considered an “intimidating” treatment a completely easy experience. I’d recommend Sabi every single time!

I went to The Chair 2 weeks ago and left not entirely happy, as I found many split ends after the appointment. When I left an in-depth review (3 stars) they contacted me asking if I was available for another appointment for a free cut & blow dry to fix the problem. Today I came back for my appointment and they were lovely. They really cleared up any miscommunication between me, the client, and my Hairdresser, Amber, and Amber did a beautiful job. Katie, the owner, also came and talked to me to make sure everything went well and I left with no visible split ends and a gorgeous hairstyle. Having struggled for years to find a suitable hairdresser who can manage my mixed race hair I finally found The Chair. They are simply the best! They work their magic on my hair every time and make me feel well and truly pampered whilst I'm having my keratin smoothing Brazilian blowdry. I have a regular wash cut and blowdry in between treatments and my hair is now in such good condition since becoming a customer of theirs. Hair magicians! 🪄 Thank you 💇‍♀️

Thank you, Thank you to my amazing hairdressers…..they have worked so hard to get my hair to the ‘right’ blonde for me. I am really fussy and find it hard to get the right colour but they are truly fantastic at what they do! I can’t thank you enough….I LOVE IT!!!

The owner really obviously cares a lot about her business and staff and this wholly translated through this phone call - she's a really lovely lady who wanted to make things right, so I've added a well deserved star. I wholeheartedly appreciate the compensation provided to me, thanks so much for listening to my genuine review. I did want to reiterate that everyone I have had contact with at the Chair have been so lovely, my hair stylist included, and it seems I just had a rare bad experience, via miscommunication or other. Thanks to everyone at the Chair for genuinely caring and making things right. Original Review: Unfortunately I won't be coming back. My stylist was a really really lovely person and did a fabulous job on my bangs but I asked for 2 inches max off my length and at least 3-4 have been cut off my long hair. 2 inches was all I wanted at a maximum because I have very long hair and struggle to feel myself without it but wanted a refresh. I also asked for small beach waves for styling and got a princess curly hairdo instead- not me and not what I asked for at all, and I had photos in tow as an example of what I wanted and just wasn't what I got. I ended up going home and restyling it myself. The cut itself is nice (barring the extra length cut off which I'm not happy about) but for £78 I can't fathom that what I got is what I paid for. A pity, as I came here after having a few bad experiences too.
