Tereza is quite literally the only person I trust with my hair - she has done both my cut and colour and has listened to my every word and understood everything I’ve wanted and more. She is truly so incredible and I feel so lucky and grateful to have found her. She is also incredibly kind, friendly and so humble despite being the most talented hair stylist I have come across to date. I’ve attached my most recent colour I’ve had done with Tereza and it’s everything I could have wanted and more, I love it! Goes without saying that I would 10000% recommend!

I have been having extensions for several years now and have had them installed by a few of the top salons in London but wasn’t happy with either the hair quality, colour match and have had my hair damaged by bad installation before so when I went to Jack I wanted extensions but I also wanted better hair health. My hair is fine and processed and damaged. The keratin extensions he put in were superb quality, light to wear and looked very natural in my fine hair. We expected them to stay in for around 8 weeks and Jack was keen to hear if I was having any issues and gave me lots of tips on aftercare. My extensions lasted 4 months and they were still in perfect condition when I had them changed today. The only reason I had them changed is because my hair had really grown and I was worried about them catching. Both he and Daniel (who is taking care of my colour ) have been amazing at giving advise on getting my hair back to good health. I would highly recommend them both!!

I can’t recommend Tereza enough! She completely transformed my hair from a brassy orange to the most stunning caramel balayage. Her skill in colour correction is absolutely incredible, and she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The results are flawless—beautiful, natural, and perfectly blended. Love the salon - I’ve only recently become a client but I find it very professional with an easy booking system and lovely staff. The drinks (& hot chocolate) is a lovely bonus! Avalon coloured & cut my hair yesterday and did a fantastic job - I couldn’t have asked for better & will definitely be back.

My first time at this salon and it was so comfortable and beautiful. Felt very relaxed from the get go. My hair stylist Adele went above and beyond for me throughout the whole experience. We went for a hair tint and trim which we were both so happy with the end results. The compliments on my hair were immediate and haven’t stopped since. A true professional that is able to advise on what your hair needs whilst ensuring the client also gets exactly what they want. I can’t wait to come back to this salon and have Adele style my hair again :) 10/10

This is my second time having Mads at Blue Tit Portobello cut my hair after many, many years with a different salon. It's always an adjustment trying someone new and finding your groove together but Mads has made that process so easy and comfortable. On both appointments he has taken plenty of time with me to learn what I liked and didn't like about my hair. I take my hair very seriously and want to feel that I am co-creating with my hairdresser. I felt that he understood what I wanted and we talked through exactly what he was going to do. I like my second haircut with him even better than the first! *Bonus points for the three free fringe trims that Blue Tit offers between haircuts along with the ease of booking an appointment!*

I am very particular about my naturally curly hair and he crushed the cut. Love the vibe/atmosphere and friendliness of Blue Tit staff. Couldn’t recommend more!

First time visiting Blue Tit Portobello having visited the other branches in Clapton and East Village. The salon itself has an stylish, instagram worthy decor, yet feels familiar, relaxed and welcoming. I had an excellent balayage, cut and styling from Adele. She really understood the vision I had in mind for my style and went to great lengths to ensure the finished product was something we were both extremely happy with. A surprising tardus type salon on 2 floors tucked away from the madding crowds of Portobello road and Westborne grove. Its nestled amongst artisan chocolate shops and pristine cafes. Be aware there is no disabled access at the entrance which l suggest they consider remedying during 2022. I didn't ask if they had a portable ramp. The lighting isn't strident, the decor vaguely Moroccan ( photo of bench seat) and the seats comfortable. The staff are really polite and it's obvious they have a loyal customer base. Every effort was made to lift my petite 5 ft 2 inch frame high enough at the sink so l didn't get a wet back during my hair wash. That extra care was much appreciated. I walked in looking like a dull grey root haired lady and l emerged an elegant plum plumed swan. What a difference majirel colour makes to your confidence. I had a public event the next day at which l made quite an impression. Thank you Erin for the much needed transformation.

Darron has been my colorist for more than 7 years and he is now also taking care of my 3 eldest daughters. It is going to sound a bit cheesy to say but he did change my life. Thanks to his creativity, intuition, and incredible talent he has given me a new look. He is techinically extremely skilled but deep down he is an artist. My daughters (aged 14, 16 and 19) also adore him. Darron adapts to individualities, he knows how to listen and also knows when to suggest new ideas. I really cannot say enough good things about him.

I got my hair cut by Elif today and it was the best experience I've had at a hairdresser in a LONG time. Not only did they book me in super last minute and were very accommodating, Elif really took the time to understand what I wanted and cut my hair perfectly. “Accidentally” got a hair cut last minute as I was in the building for an eyebrow appointment and was most pleasantly surprised! Erkan is a very experienced hairdresser (not to mention funny) who loves his job — he told me what he thought was best for my hair, and after he did his magic, it honestly the best hair cut experience I’ve had in London. 100% trust him and glad to know I finally have a hairdresser to go back to :)

Alessio did my hair and honestly wow. He was so gentle with the wash, gave me an amazing massage. He cut my hair exactly how I wanted it with the perfect layers and the blowout was amazing. I asked for some waves/curls. I am definitely going to make this my regular hair salon!!

I have been seeing Angelica for a few months now as I want to improve the quality of my hair, which has been previously damaged from heat products, colouring, sun etc. Angelica has been really helpful in suggesting natural products to help with the frizz and dullness of my hair- and the oiling and hair mask seems to be helping. Today I tried the Ultra Glow treatment and the frizz in my hair is so much better! My hair feels healthy and looks shinier with one treatment but doesn't feel flat or heavy (which can sometimes happen with hydrating treatments.) The UV light on the hair was pretty cool too- had never seen that before. I would for sure recommend this treatment

I had a wonderful experience at Angelica Hair Organic and Vegan salon for a haircut. The salon is beautifully decorated, with a calming and relaxing vibe. My stylist was Angelica, and she was very attentive and detail-oriented. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and offered helpful suggestions. I really enjoyed the herbal tea that was served to me, and I appreciated Angelica's attention to detail and desire to help me. Head massage was so outstanding. The best hairdressers I've ever been to on my entire life - recommended by a friend, I've been coming here a few years now because I wanted to get my hair coloured and don't trust just anyone as I've had many bad or just mediocre experiences....I came here and every time I leave I'm so happy. Darrin is so experienced, the colour and cuts last so well that regrowth doesn't even look like regrowth, and everything looks expensive yet natural. The vibe of the salon is so lovely too.

Darren is simply the best. I travel from north London to Shoop as he is such a gifted stylist. He is generous with his time and not rushed - so you might go a bit over or have to wait a little bit. The vibe of the studio is always great as is the music!

This was the best manicure of my life! I got gel extensions. First of all the girls were so lovely and friendly. Gosia did my nails - I didn’t really know what I wanted and she helped me find the right look, trying out different nail shapes. She was so detail oriented checking the nails from every angle and polishing off every imperfection. The nails turned out beautiful and very natural, especially for gel tips. They use a method I haven’t seen before where they shape the gel around your nail instead of using plastic tips. Couldn’t recommend higher!

I visited Townhouse nails for the first time and I had the BEST experience all thanks to my technician Gosia! I definitely picked the luck of the draw with her because her years of experience definitely reflected in her quality of work!! Gosia also gave her creative input, which I was so grateful for being a nail newbie, which ultimately led to me having a set of stunning looking nails! The nails themselves lasted so well!!! My whole experience was incredible and I really feel it’s all down to Gosia!! The location of townhouse itself was great and the venue clean, their infection control procedures were really reassuring!! A great first visit and cannot wait to be back!!!
