Great café - initially a bit difficult find but got there in the end - it's in old mill buildings and run as a social enterprise. Staff are very friendly and helpful, even offering extras like tap water. The food is good and pretty reasonable price wise. The building is worth a look, original exposed brickwork etc. The cafe is obviously well regarded, it was very busy with customers both takeaway and eating in. Highly recommended. Near to Mabgate, a street worthy of a visit anyway.

Claire, Jackie, and Rosie will put a smile on your face even on the drizzliest of days. Really beautiful home baked cake and top-notch made to order butties. Try the "lamington" cake when it's on. It's so rich I cut it into 4 and tell myself I'll make it last, but it's all gone by the 1st set of traffic lights.! Wren is a social enterprise to, so it's a realy feel good environment.

An exceptional little cafe, a bit off the beaten track. Excellent chair latte and tuna melt sandwich. Really lovely staff. And it's a social enterprise that helps women get into work. What more could you want?

It was our first time trying Nigerian food and everything was perfect. None of us knew the name of the dishes(still don’t know) but the staff recommended some and we loved them all. One of them was really spicy so I’d say to ask about the spice level if you have a low tolerance. In relation to the atmosphere, everyone was nice and friendly 🤗 we even got some recommendations from other customers and laughed with them in the process. And finally the most important, the service was 100 stars they provided the most accommodating service there could be, they were nice to us, the food was coming warm and nice and they made sure to warn us about each dish preparation time so that we would know if we wanted to wait or not. Anyways, I really recommend 🥰♥️

First time visiting this morning on the 9th of March 2022. Ordered a sausage and spam sarnie with brown sauce and a coffee wi' one sugar milk. Bloody banging, and just what I needed after a long night. Lovely staff, flat top grill (perfect), will be going again. If you're in LS9 pop in an' have yoursen' a right good sarnie. Will be visiting again.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today. The atmosphere is very relaxed with comfortable seating, lovely hypnotic music playing and very friendly and attentive staff. The omelette I had was very tasty and came with homemade ciabatta bread- delicious! My daughter's pizza was similar to one that might be served in an Italian restaurant! Restaurant quality food in a local café! ☀️

Lee did a job for a family member of mine. He did an excellent, professional job, leaving the area he worked on clean and tidy. It was easy to arrange a time and date for him to come, and his price was great value for money. I will definitely be contacting him if I need anymore jobs doing.

What a find! A treat for people from Karachi and everyone else who wants to experience real flavours of Karachi food! Ordered bun kabab, masala chips, karachi biryani, chana chaat, lemonade and karak chai.. everything was on point! Bun kabab was out of this world 10/10!! Will surely be coming back to try new dishes! If you want spicy biryani, please do ask while ordering. Definitely a strong recommendation to visit! Lovely ambiance and welcoming staff. Preet was a wonderful host 🫶🏼

Greeted by a friendly manager, whilst we were ordering, they brought a complimentary poppadom tray. The shop was clean and tidy. Ordered the chicken karahi, lamb karahi, and the chef's special chicken biryani. The food was cooked to perfection 👌 a good balance of spice in the karahis, I especially enjoyed the chicken karahi, made to medium/apna style spice as requested. Will definitely come again 🙂

Chicken Wings (Sweet and Spicy) Sindhi Biryani Mutton Nihari Haleem Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, accompanied by the tantalising aroma of authentic spices wafting through the air. The ambience instantly transported us to the bustling streets of Pakistan, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. For starters, we indulged in the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings. Cooked to absolute perfection, they were beautifully tender and practically melted in the mouth. The balance of sweetness and spice was spot on, leaving us wanting more. Next came the Sindhi Biryani, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. The flavour profile was nothing short of incredible – rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. Each mouthful was a burst of authentic taste, so much so that it felt as though we were dining in Karachi rather than Leeds. Following that, we sampled the Haleem, which was nothing short of spectacular. The texture was smooth and hearty, and the flavours were robust and deeply satisfying. It’s easily one of the best versions of Haleem I’ve ever had outside of Pakistan – a true delight for the taste buds. Finally, we were served the Mutton Nihari. The meat was tender beyond words, practically disintegrating with each bite, while the luscious gravy was a symphony of spices that filled the mouth with warmth and flavour. It instantly transported me back to my last visit to Karachi, evoking fond memories of traditional dining experiences there. Each dish exceeded expectations, and the authenticity of the flavours was a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. A must-visit for anyone craving a genuine taste of Pakistan!

We had Steve from S and R Electricals come and do a full rewire on our house and him and his team were brilliant. Very clean and even tidied up after themselves. Very professional job at a very competitive price, extremely good value for money. I would definitely recommend them.

Me and my family just had the food from here and it was absolutely delicious! Quality food and amazingly priced as well. Fabulous section on the menu, there is definitely something for everyone! The shop inside was spotless and the seating area outside was a lovely touch can really see that filling up in the summer time. The guy behind the counter was lovely and polite and very welcoming. Smiling and welcoming the customers; that’s lovely to see. You definitely have regular returning customers!

Came all the way from Manchester to try this place out and I must say, it did not disappoint! I got the box meal for £9.99 which is a bargain by the way. The tenders were crispy yet juicy and the fries were well seasoned to the very last one! But the burger was the real showstopper, the chicken was cooked to perfection the bbq sauce was just the right amount and the onion rings with the melted cheese over the top was perfection in food form. I love my takeaways but this one takes the cake for me if you’re in the area it’s a must try for sure! Their selection has everything you are looking for! 10/10

Amazing Smash Burgers! This place i can’t say enough good things! The smash burgers are nothing short of amazing crisped perfectly on the edges, juicy within, flavorful as hell. The toppings are fresh, the buns are soft but sturdy, and the sauces are enough to elevate everything.The fries, crispy, golden and well-seasoned, are equally amazing. And don’t even get me started on the milkshakes the ideal sweet treat to have after a burger. In addition to phenomenal food, service is quick and friendly. You will not regret it, whether you’re eating in or picking up something to go. By all means, this is my new favorite burger place. Highly recommend!
